"Stuck in a jam" double cheeseburger may be the best burger I've ever eaten. Smashburger with spicy jam and bacon. Fiiire Vietnamese salad. Perfect balance of heat and vinegar snap. Ended it off with ice creams for the kids and a luscious maple milkshake. 10/10. A+

Our group ordered a bunch of burgers and took heed of some reviewers' warnings-- the burgers are kinda small so you'll want a double or a whole other burger if you're hungry! For me, they were just the right size to satisfy! I got the sLAMBer burger which was SO GOOD, such an amazing mix of flavors that I couldn't stop gushing about how good it was! I heard similar sounds of approval from friends enjoying their burgers (the jam one was really popular in our group). Fries weren't spectacular but when you want fries, a GOOD fry is all you need. Now the honey pie! 3 of us ordered a slice and I think everyone enjoyed it! It's a sweet baked good unlike anything I've really had before and the salt flakes on top help to cut the sweetness. It was a bit too sweet for me to eat on my own in one sitting but I still liked it! I wish they delivered but we didnt mind picking up the order since it was only 6 min away by car! I originally thought the prices were sorta expensive for burgers but honestly not that bad because what you get is so delicious. I'm super interested in trying their 16 oz matcha milkshake... next time!

It was the perfect setting for a memorable holiday dinner. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with friendly, attentive service from our server, Jamie. The ambiance was warm, inviting, and rich with history, making us feel like we had stepped back in time. We started with an Old Fashioned made with Smugglers' Notch bourbon for me and a refreshing Blueberry Refresher for my wife. The homemade cranberry fritters served with Vermont maple butter were an outstanding way to begin the meal. Next came bowls of the delicious Cheddar & Ale Onion Soup, followed by the Maple Butter & Walnut Encrusted Brie served with Vermont apples and toasted baguette--an excellent combination of sweet, savory, and crunchy flavors. Our entrees were preceded by fresh field greens salads with balsamic vinaigrette and blue cheese crumbles, along with warm, freshly baked bread. I thoroughly enjoyed the Traditional Pot Roast--tender brisket slow-cooked in the tavern's Circa 1790 Amber Ale with rich pan gravy. My wife chose the Scrod with pumpkin seeds, butter, Chardonnay, and lemon, which was perfectly prepared and beautifully balanced. To finish, we shared the Cranberry & Apple Crisp topped with local vanilla ice cream and whipped cream--a fittingly New England ending to an exceptional meal. The combination of outstanding food, welcoming hospitality, and the unique historic atmosphere made for a wonderful dining experience. If you're visiting Manchester, Ye Olde Tavern is well worth a visit, especially if you're looking to enjoy classic Vermont cuisine in one of the state's most historic settings.

Everything in the village was closed, nothing else around and door dash type deliveries not available. Unfortunately it wasn't a great experience. We had a friendly but non attentive server who didn't even mention specials to us, which we only found out midway through our meal when a neighboring table received lobster ravioli which was definitely not on the menu. The menu was odd, with it mostly being pasta dishes and a handful of other options. I noticed there weren't any gluten free options except maybe one thing, in case that's of use to anyone requiring a GF diet. The food was average at best and wildly overpriced for what it was. It lacked atmosphere and felt like a standard ski lodge where you leave your gear for the day, and in no way attempted to resemble a more up scale dining experience. The only positive for us was that it was open when everything else was shut down.

Plus I was staying at the lodge where it's located. They had some good sounding Italian selections and I do enjoy some good Italian food so I figured why not? I ordered the Chicken Parmigiana which comes with Vodka sauce and Linguine. It was delicious! Just a little spicy for me but definitely hit the spot. Matter of fact I was so hungry that I forgot to take pictures of my meal! Service was great. Very accommodating staff. As far as noise levels it was pretty calm. Few people here and there dining and enjoying their meals. They also have a nice fireplace which is super cool! Keeps the spot nice and cozy. So there you have it folks. Nice spot in the mountain area to grab a nice meal. Have a great one ya'll! -Ray
