I tried this restaurant in August 2024 and was not impressed. I decided to try it again in Nov 2025 hoping for more but again was not impressed. About what I'd expect if QT had a Chinese dish in their new food bar. The Hot & Sour Soup wasn't close to Hot and Sour Soup.. Egg roll was OK. But the beef and Chinese vegetables, hardly anything to write home about. Expecting peapods, water chestnuts, bamboo shoots, all I got were onions, a few mushrooms, celery, not much more, certainly no Chinese vegetables found in the mix. Even the Fortune Cookie didn't include a fortune - they must have gotten a special price deal! Unfortunately, the closest place for good Chinese food is over on Macfarland, too far to drive for a dinner pickup. I won't make the mistake of ordering from here a 3rd time! Best to go to Kroger frozen foods and look for a Chinese microwave dinner! read more

The quantity of the food was generous; however, the quantity was lacking for our taste. We ordered Lo Mein, egg rolls, vegetable fried rice, and dumplings. The egg rolls were what was to be expected and the dumplings were as well. The Lo Mein and the fried rice had a sweet off palate flavor that was not favorable. I was starving so I couldn't make the trip to yen ching so I opted for Great Wall instead. I placed my order and took a seat to wait. Then I started noticed by the dirt and debris under the tables. I am guessing it has been weeks between cleaning. The beef and brocolli was bland and the fried rice full of roughly chopped onions. The Mongolian beef had good flavor, but maybe 1.5 ounces of beef. It was completely filled with onions and just a few bites of meat. The wonton soup tasted "burnt" according to the wife and kids. The lo mein was pretty tasty and the only thing I can't complain about. The egg rolls weren't cooked long enough with raw dough. To top it all off, a kid emerged from the kitchen and proceeded to watch cartoons on their iPad at full volume. Won't return. read more

The food here typically is decent, but not tonight. Something has changed dramatically. We ordered beef and broccoli combo and cashew chicken combo. The broccoli was soggy and the sauce was thick and "jello-ie." The chicken wasn't chicken, I think it was mushy scallops. The sauce tasted the same in both dishes. Fried rice simply browned rice with chunks of onions. Neither dish was worth eating and we threw it out. Honestly the worst Chinese food we've ever had. Ordered the food off of door dash, I got sweet and sour chicken and some spring rolls. The sweet and sour chicken was good, the chicken was nicely breaded and the sauce is good. The spring rolls on the other hand were awful. It tasted like they were soaked in old filthy water. Like they were rotten or something. My family and I are new to the area and have been here for both lunch and dinner. It is largely takeout and has a few seats for customers. As a Chinese American, I found the food to be delicious with fresh veggies and authentic flavors. Excited to find decent Chinese food nearby. We have ordered take out multiple times from Great Wall over the years and the food is just OK. The spicy dishes are not spicy, sauce is pretty similar from entree to entree. The food here is okay. It's definitely far from being the "best Chinese food" I've ever had. We ordered the Shrimp Chow Mein, Chicken Lo Mein, Shrimp w/Lobster Sauce, Shrimp Egg rolls, Chicken Fried Rice, and wonton soup. Shrimp Chow Mein: This dish is deceiving because it's not the traditional "Chow Mein" made w/stir fried noodles. It's more Chopsuey w/steamed rice and their "crispy noodles" are just fried wonton strips. This didn't taste bad, but if you're expecting traditional chow mein, you'll be disappointed. The shrimp in this dish is also very tiny. Chicken Lo Mein: My brother-in-law enjoyed this noodle dish. Shrimp w/lobster sauce: This dish came w/shrimp, peas, carrots, and a side of steamed rice. The flavor of this dish was good, but the sauce was really watery and could've been a little thicker. The shrimp in this dish was big & yummy! The steamed rice was also made well. Shrimp egg rolls: This could've been potentially a good egg roll because it was nicely fried & crispy. However, it was just full of cabbage and had one super tiny shrimp. I was not a fan of this shrimp egg roll. Chicken fried rice: My husband enjoyed this dish w/the homemade hot mustard that they make. You have to request the homemade hot mustard. Otherwise, they have the hot mustard packets available on the counter. Wonton soup: The wonton soup was bland. It only contains wontons and broth. There's no veggies in the soup and their wontons are okay. The wontons are very basic and contain just meat. However, they do give you a lot of wontons. read more

The food and service are both comparable. Bad. They are incredibly cheap with their ingredients and the quality of the ingredients. The boneless bbq ribs are shreds of pork. Their is no way on earth they are even close to boneless ribs. You can add more pork or chicken to your fried rice but they don't adhere to it. There are no peas, carrots, onions or anything distinguishing itself as fried rice. The hot and sour soup is flavored water. The general tso chicken and sesame chicken is just fried chicken with some sauce shoved into a container. even the sides of white rice that come with the combos is beyond tiny. I thought it was a joke when we saw it in the bag. If it wasn't for it being the only Chinese restaurant around, they would go out of buisness for sure. People settle for it. The lady that answers the phone is rude and the only words out of her mouth are no, we don't do that. Panda Express is actually better than this place. Avoid it if you can. I ordered the Mongolian beef my first visit. It wasn't too great. The next time I went I got beef and snow peas, it was so good I went back the very next day and got the same thing. They deserve a higher rating than 3.5. I read one review that said "worst Chinese food I've ever had". Well, that's too broad of a review. They may not liked that one dish. Something to remember with reviews like that is they've had one experience. The Generals chicken was soggy and watery sauce. the moo shu wraps were hard and crunchy, the shrimp fries rice was absolutely flavorless to the point that my daughter who abhors the flavor of Chinese food said it was good bc it had no flavor. For fast, fresh chinese this is a great little spot. I always ask for white meat chicken though so they will make it fresh(er). They add a dollar but worth it. the owners are really nice, its family run so sometimes the little boy is there. Its not the cleanest restaurant out front but the back is almost spotless (yes i've been back there!!) They have a great quick lunch, dinner is nice so all around a good value. It is in a strip mall so don't expect fabulous decor, it could be cleaned up alot but the food is great. First of all, this is primarily a take-out place! They do have tables for seating but it is not a full-service Chinese restaurant with wait persons! The tables are provided for you to eat the food that you ordered if you aren't taking it with you! We have been eating here for a decade at least and have NEVER had a bad meal. Hot and sour soup and steamed dumplings are my fave along with the Gen. Tso's chicken. Lunch combos and dinner combos are a great value and we always have leftovers.
