Everything we got was good. Not the best barbecue ever, but definitely worth coming back for. The turkey was moist and the sausage good. My son liked the brisket that was in his bowl. I did really like the Brunswick stew. Overall, a good barbecue place in Canton, Georgia. I will come back.

Big Easy BBQ - Do Not Waste Your Money or Time Eating Here A…read morefew days ago, I watched a well-known BBQ show that offered a simple rule: if there's no smoke coming from a BBQ restaurant, keep driving. Today, I ignored that advice and regretted it. A friend and I decided to try Big Easy BBQ for lunch instead of visiting one of our usual favorites. After reading positive reviews, we drove more than 30 minutes to see what the hype was about. The first warning sign was the nearly empty dining room at lunchtime. The second was the complete lack of that unmistakable BBQ aroma. Despite both red flags, we stayed. My friend ordered the St. Louis ribs with sides, and I ordered the half chicken with two sides. When I noticed he had barely touched his ribs, he handed me a piece to try. The meat was tough, dry, and tasted as though it had been cooked well in advance and reheated. Unfortunately, my chicken was no better. It also seemed old and reheated rather than freshly prepared. For sides, I chose dirty rice and Cajun BBQ beans. Neither tasted particularly fresh. The dirty rice was acceptable at first but quickly lost its appeal, while the beans were merely average. Having lived in New Orleans for five years, I know what good Cajun and BBQ-inspired food should taste like. This wasn't it. The highlights of the meal were my iced tea and my friend's French fries. Service was equally disappointing. The server checked on us only in passing and showed little interest in our experience. When we requested takeout boxes for the food we barely ate, there was no inquiry about why our meals were largely untouched. We both took our leftovers home, though neither of us was enthusiastic about them. The lesson here is simple: online reviews should never outweigh what your eyes, nose, and instincts are telling you. A busy dining room, the smell of smoke, and trusted recommendations are often better indicators than a collection of glowing ratings. As a final note, my friend and I normally pay separately, but I felt responsible for suggesting this restaurant and paid for both meals. If paying for two disappointing lunches taught me anything, it's this: save your time and money, and eat somewhere else.

It felt like "Cheers", "where everybody knows you name" lol What hit me was the huge size of the wings. Over the years, like everything else, prices are going up but at least so are the size of their wings. They were almost the size of a small leg! Lol. You feel you're getting your money's worth. A nice selection of sauces to coat them and I must say, very awesome potato skins. Lots of potato and crunchy tasty skin. And the chilled Blue Moon went well with all of it. The service seemed a little slow but the wings will ensure a return visit.

We waited 35 minutes for a table (which is fine BUT..) when they decided to seat a family of 4 before us that had only been there for 15 minutes. The family they were seating was even SO shocked that they looked at us and said no you guys were here first and apologized. When I asked the young waitress why she skipped us, she replied that the table was for 4. I expressed that it was not ok to skip over us and that we were not going to keep waiting while they continue to skip over us and that we would leave. She shrugged and said "Ok" while the short fat woman that was training her looked in our faces and loudly said "Oh well"!
