The food here is genuinely excellent--some of the best Korean fried chicken I've had in Atlanta…read more The skin is incredibly crispy, the meat is tender and juicy, and the chicken is clearly butchered and cooked with care. The sauces are a real highlight, especially the gochujang-based one, which was absolutely phenomenal. They're generous with the sauce, too, which adds even more flavor to an already well-executed dish. That said, it's hard to ignore the price point. This is easily the most expensive Korean fried chicken spot I've been to. While the quality justifies the cost to an extent, it's still a noticeable jump from other similar places. And while the chicken is very good, it's not necessarily the best in Atlanta--though it's definitely in the top tier. Another thing that stood out was the lack of lower-cost or smaller portion options. There were only half and whole birds available, with no quarter bird or sandwich options, which makes it difficult for someone looking for a more affordable or lighter meal. It feels like they're missing an opportunity to appeal to a broader lunch crowd. In short: it's pricey, but you're getting high-quality, expertly prepared Korean fried chicken. Just be prepared to spend a bit more--and maybe come hungry.

PARKING - Plenty of parking available…read more ATMOSPHERE - The restaurant is massive and believe they did a good job trying to fill every area. I appreciated the lower lighting to take your eyes away from the very high ceilings. I loved that there were napkins at every table with seasonings and extras. The place is very clean. STAFF - Very friendly staff and appreciated as there was a large family ordering in front of us someone opened another register to take our order. We weren't in a hurry but small things like this do not go unnoticed. I did not feel like a burden and the staff had our full attention without being on their phones. The gentleman who brought our food was very polite and came back to get our dishes and trash when we were finished. That was a nice gesture that showed they go out of their way and take pride in what they do. The owner should be proud of this place and his team. FOOD - Extremely good taste with the unique crunchy batter of the chicken. The fries were great and loved the seasoning at the table. The mac and cheese was ok but not amazing. I really enjoyed it after adding the hot spice from the table. My son loved his huge waffle and chicken and thought it was going to be just a half sized waffle. PRICE - I believe the price is very much on point for what you get. Two drinks, 3 fingers and 2 sides and waffle and chicken for my son came to $28 or so. I feel we would have paid only $3-5 less at a fast food place and this place is far superior to any fast food. I really loved that the card reader at the register did not ask to add a tip like most places do. I don't mind tipping but asking at the register when you pay for your food before you have eaten, seen your food or have had the full experience always irks me for some reason. THE GOOD - The flavor of the chicken and the fried to perfection color of the skin - The unique menu with fried deserts and flavors - Top notch service - Very clean restaurant and huge! No worry about having a conversation without being a bother to other people - Free refills, napkins, condiments available without having to ask CONSTRUCTIVE FEEDBACK (These are not bad in a way to remove stars) - I honestly don't have complaints as we loved our meal and will be back even though we drove an hour just eat here. Take notice that the cups are not very large, not a issue as there are free refills but my son and I drink a lot and had to fill up 3 times. No way is this a bad thing.

It actually pretty good so every few months we'd reorder. I was going to use my uber eats credit again and was shocked to see they now have their Original Chicken Sandwich Basket priced at $24.99 including a buy one get one. Same w/ the tenders basket ($25.99 bogo) and the original chicken sandwich combo w/ slaw ($25.99 bogo). Similar pricing as in-store if buying two sandwiches but if you just want one sandwich or tenders you are forced to pay the price for two! So this really isn't bogo pricing, it's buy tow sandwiches minimum! Reading recent reviews that management has changed and food quality has declined along with the deceptive pricing on uber eats, they've lost me as a customer!

What should have been a simple food order for my autistic child turned into a petty, controlling, and intimidating situation over two slices of cheese. My family has ordered the same thing from Culver's for years: two grilled chicken filets with a slice of cheese. We have always been charged for the grilled chicken filets with cheese added separately, not as full sandwiches without buns. My husband had just ordered it the same way the week before. On this visit, Shakira suddenly said it had to be charged as full sandwiches because cheese counted as a topping. So I changed the order and paid for the grilled chicken filets plain. Then I tried to buy the two cheese slices separately, which another employee was willing to ring up for about 85 cents. Shakira ran over and stopped him from selling it to me. At that point, it felt less like policy and more like control. She would rather refund an approximately $20 order that I had already paid for than allow me to buy two slices of cheese separately. She then threatened to call the police while I was waiting for my refund. As a Black customer, having a white manager threaten to call police over two slices of cheese felt very concerning. The only thing I could think was that this felt like what society calls a "Karen" situation -- escalating something small and unnecessary instead of calmly resolving it. She also slammed the drive-thru window hard after saying she would call the police. Now for the full details: I had a very troubling experience at Culver's #613, located at 6778 Hickory Flat Hwy, Canton, GA 30115, involving manager Shakira. My family has ordered from this Culver's location for years. We regularly order two grilled chicken filets with a slice of cheese for my autistic child, who eats the same foods consistently. This has always been rung up as grilled chicken filets with cheese added separately, not as full sandwiches without buns. My husband had just ordered this same way the week before without any issue. On this visit, I ordered the same thing: two grilled chicken filets with cheese. For the first time ever, manager Shakira told me that if cheese is added to grilled chicken, the order must be rung up as full sandwiches without buns. I made it clear that I did not want lettuce, tomato, bun, or any sandwich toppings. I only wanted the grilled chicken filets with cheese, the same way we have ordered them many times before. Shakira said this was their policy and that the policy had supposedly been in place for years, although she also said other employees may not have been aware of it or may not have been following it. Since Shakira said the issue was the cheese being added as a topping to the chicken, I attempted to resolve the issue by purchasing the grilled chicken filets plain. I paid for two plain grilled chicken filets and received a receipt showing the grilled chicken filets, not sandwiches. After that, I attempted to purchase two slices of cheese separately. Another employee was willing to ring up the cheese separately and quoted it at about 85 cents, but Shakira stopped him from selling it to me. She appeared to refuse the cheese because she knew I intended to use it with the chicken. At that point, it felt less like a policy issue and more like pettiness and control. Instead of trying to calmly resolve a simple food-order issue, she offered only the food without cheese or a refund. She then threatened to call police if I did not leave after the refund. I had already asked for my refund and was waiting to receive my money back. As a Black customer, being threatened with police over a minor order dispute involving two slices of cheese felt intimidating, unnecessary, and racially concerning. She also slammed the drive-thru window hard during the interaction. I repeatedly asked for my refund because I had already paid for the order and had a receipt. The order was approximately $20, and Shakira seemed willing to have Culver's lose that entire sale rather than allow me to purchase two slices of cheese separately for about 85 cents. That does not sound like good customer service or good management. It felt like ego, control, and pettiness. I also asked how to contact someone above her or how to contact corporate. Shakira stated that the owner is Tim Auseth and said that there was no way to reach corporate beyond him because he is the franchise owner. She also stated that because it is his store, he has his own rules and standards. That was concerning to hear, because this location still operates under the Culver's name. I later went to another Culver's location the same day, and they were able to ring up a similar order as grilled chicken filets with American cheese charged separately. That is how my family has commonly ordered it before.
