The hostess / counter worker specifically not pleasant, we were not greeted when we entered when other people who arrived after us were. We decided to order to go and while looking at the menus, we were asked to put down the menus we had in our hands because she has special "togo" menus at the counter. Picked up takeout for the first time from this place. We ordered Cream Cheese rolls, pot stickers, spring rolls, Panang curry with chicken and pad Thai with pork. The cream cheese rolls were tasty but everything else was not near as good as what I've had other places. I had high hopes because we really love Thai food and this place is not far from our house and has a nice, quaint atmosphere. But the panang curry was the worst I've ever had. The first time we came here, it was Father's Day. I came with both of my parents. It wasn't crowded at all, and the decor was nice. Me and my mom ordered Pineapple Fried Rice, and my dad ordered Spicy Curry. We waited for a very long time, watching tons of online orders leaving the restaurant. Me and my mother's Fried Rice came, but my dad's curry never came. We went to the counter to ask why, and they just told us it wasn't ready yet, after over a half hour of waiting after me and my mom's food came. We left on Father's Day without my dad ever getting a meal. We decided to give the restaurant a second chance, and weren't impressed. The food is overpriced for okay quality and minimal quantity. The wait was still a long one, but this time everyone's food came. There wasn't anything that impressive, and the service wasn't very good. Really good Thai here in Canton, and the only Thai restaurant in Canton as well. I tried the Shrimp Tempura, Thai Chicken Wings, and Drunken Noodles. The Shrimp Tempura was delicious! Perfectly breaded and fried to golden, shrimpy deliciousness! The Thai Chicken Wings were really good. The chicken was good quality and tasted nicely brined. They were cooked to perfection and I would order them again. The dipping sauce, however, was a little weird...it tasted like ketchup with a little bit of sweet, chili sauce. But I'd definitely get the wings again, I just wouldn't worry about dipping them. The Drunken Noodles were fantastic. I ordered them with pork and to a spice level of 3 out of 5. The spice level is correct. The 3 is a good medium with enough heat to make your forehead glisten...but not to cause big beads of sweat. The spice did not obliterate the taste and I could taste every delicious flavor complemented by the perfect heat. I have no doubt that if you like it SPICY, YOU WILL GET IT SPICY HERE. Also, the service from Phoung was fantastic. She was super friendly and a wonderfully hostess, server, cook. She did it all and did it with grace. Please let this restaurant get into a good groove before complaining about extended waits. She was literally the only person working the entire front and helping with the cooking and the food still came out in a relatively good time. Lastly...I hope she sees this...larb gai would be a great addition to the menu! read more

Ordered pad Thai and drunken noodles. I've never tasted pad thai like this in my life and not in a good way. It tasted like it was cooked in a can of Campbell's tomato soup concentrate, very strange. The owner refused to come to our table so we could ask for something special for our son since they don't have a kids menu we just wanted noodles with some light sauce and beef. So when the (sweet) waiter brought out 2 bowls of plain boiled noodles and boiled pork she got mad at him for messing it up, but he was doing his best and her attitude was really rude. She spent 5 min taking the order of the ladies by us but refused to come help us with our order, is it because we are white? No other obvious reason. So it was a one and done for us. I've been looking for a good Thai place with pad Thai and my mom recommended this restaurant. I genuinely don't think I've had better pad Thai it is AMAZING. The drunken noodles are so good as well. I love their spice levels because although it's spicy it's not unbearable or so spicy it looses flavor. My Pad See Ewe was on point! The noodles were al dente and the flavor rich and not too salty. The price point is a little bit high but I was able to bring home my leftovers. this was so authentic that I will skip the popular place in Jasper and drive 13 miles to come to Thai Mango. Let me start by saying the Thai fried rice was amazing! I got it level 4 spicy and they nailed it. My gf got the pad Thai and hated it, she's very fond of pad Thai other places and this was just not to her liking. She ordered some appetizers to eat instead. The Tom Kha was pretty tasty, we shared some. The fried dumplings resembled frozen fried dumplings vs hand made. Lastly, the restaurant wasn't in the best shape: buttons were coming off the furniture, the walls were scuffed, etc. looks like it's been there for years vs months. My wife got the drunken noodles with beef. The beef tasted like it was just added to it and cooked it separately-very bland. She usually eats every bite, but she left most of the meat on the plate and said it was not good. She said the basil did not taste fresh. My chicken pad thai was a little soupy and the peanuts were not crushed, very lazy not to crush the peanuts and just put a spoonful on the plate like it came out of the planters peanut jar. The spice level was good at level four. The chicken was bland and tasted like it was cooked separate and was prepared well before making the noodles and just added to it. The bathrooms are clean, but the young man who came to our table, barely talked and mostly did not acknowledge us when we thanked him for the water refills. He did come by one time to ask how it was. He refilled my water and started walking away with my empty plate, sitting in front of me so I called him back and asked him to please take my plate. More friendliness would be nice. But most importantly the food was mediocre. The health score was only 77 posted on the wall near the refrigerator. Not near the entrance where I believe it's supposed to be posted when you come in the door. We will stick with our regular Thai Ginger off of Bells ferry Road in Acworth. I believe they go by -New Thai Ginger- on Yelp. We dined at 1220 on Saturday. Love it here! The service was excellent. The husband and wife that own it I believe took care of us, and they were so friendly and helpful. We got the Tom Kha soup (not pictured) and it was delicious!! Then we shared the pad thai and panang curry both with shrimp. Big portions, and we ended up taking most of it home because of it!
