We love Great Peking! The food has always been super fresh - I personally love the Mongolian Chicken and the Chicken with Vegetables. The chicken is sliced thin and tender. We eat there regularly and have never had any issues. The owners have always been very friendly and accommodating. Definitely our favorite Chinese Restaurant. read more

I love the hot and sour soup, so usually start the meal with that. Then egg rolls, nice and crispy with a lot of flavor. All their food is delicious, so although the beef & Chinese vegetables is my favorite, sometimes I'll switch to Mongolian chicken. The staff are very friendly and make me feel at home. I wish I could eat there more often, but being on social security doesn't leave me much money for eating out. read more

Great restaurant. The original owner retired and Tony, who used to work there, reopened with the same menu. This was the first Chinese restaurant in Arnold, MO and is still the best one around. Absolutely horrible service when we arrived it was about a quarter till 9 and we asked gentleman for fried rice and said it's the same s*** and walked away is absolutely no reason to be doing that especially running a 4.3 Star Restaurant absolutely disappointed will not be back at all. Update 1/2/17 Sadly, I must update my review. Had a really bad experience tonight. Came in & placed a to go order. Two combo dinner plates: Sesame Chicken & Beef w/Broccoli -both with Crab Rangoon. Got home & Sesame Chicken had an egg roll instead of crab Rangoon. Opened the beef & Broccoli and this is the first time I have ever seen Beef & Broccoli w/carrots & bamboo shoots & a few pieces of soggy broccoli. I called thinking I had maybe gotten the wrong order. The owner answered & when I asked if maybe I got the wrong order he PRETENDED to not be the same person who waited on me. Said he'd have to go through the order slips-I had just left there & was the ONLY person there. I recognized his voice. Previously he had identified himself as the owner on another visit! He said that the order slip clearly said that it was egg roll with the Sesame Chicken! Another lie-I watched him write it! Then when I asked about there being other vegetables in the B & B he said yes-it tastes better with the other vegetables! Uhm...not if the person doesn't like the other vegetables that "taste better". The name of the dish is pretty specific for the components it should have. I can deal with mistake or a different way of making a dish but don't lie to me. They just lost this customer. ******************************************** Delicious! Got the Sesame Chicken combo plate. First time in a loooong time I actually saw egg in my fried rice! Crab Rangoon is very good. I have found that lots of places their Crab Rangoon is sweet. Not here-it is savory, hint of soy sauce & found it had a good amount of crab. The ONLY complaint is the carry out containers. They are styrofoam compartment trays & they are kind of flimsy and allow the sauce to get over every thing. One crab Rangoon was doused in Sesame Chicken sauce :( wish they were the hard plastic lidded kind. read more

Wish I could rate with zero stars. They USED to be good, several years ago when they had the buffet. Never had a bad experience. Tonight was told it would be no more than 30 minutes for delivery (that was at 6:32), then called at 7:32 and was told the driver must be lost, then called back at 7:50 to cancel the order and the guy on the phone was very nonchalant about everything, both times I called. Driver finally showed up at 7:57 with an iPhone in his hand and I told him that I cancelled my order. He said "that doesn't matter, I'm sorry". Not sure what that meant. Only order delivery from this place if you love cold Chinese food and drivers who don't even give a courtesy call or call you for directions. I don't even live on a backroad. Do not order from this restaurant! We have been loyal customers for over a year. We ordered takeout last week, close to their closing time. We ordered two beef entrees, but when we got home, they had given us only one chicken entree... Not even what we ordered! They also gave us potstickers instead of won tons, shorted us two egg rolls and a side of fried rice. We called, but they didn't answer, as it was about 5 minutes to closing. We tried to call the next day, again with no answer. We went into the store today. The restaurant refused to compensate us for the food we PAID for and did NOT receive! They did not offer us a discount on a future order or anything! They also told us that they were "too busy" to talk with us about it. One of the more horrendous experiences i have ever had ordering food. When i ordered, i was told 30 minutes, 2 hours later the joke of a driver finally showed up AFTER i called up twice wondering what was going on. Got told he must be lost, but yet he had a brand new iphone in his hand when he showed up and told that that didnt matter, no phone call from him to alert me has was lost, probably decided to get high on the job and forgot what he was supposed to be doing. Incredibly disrespectful when he showed up aswell. If i could rate them 0 i would. Do not order if you want your food in any kind of a reasonable time frame, or you want even halfway decent customer service, as when i called to cancel they said there was nothing they could do. I cant wait to see my account in the morning and have them still charge my card for something i never recived. HORRIBLE JOKE OF AN ESTABLISHMENT!!!! read more
