I usually like their food but this time was terrible the rice was cold and all other was like warm, I ordered Hot braised chicken wings that were either over cooked or sitting out to long, They were tough and I had to throw away because they were not able to eat Then I ordered General Tso and the rice was cold and their chicken was also tough. The restaurant has better than average quality. The orders have always been a curate and the staff is extremely friendly. Problem is that they now only deliver with DoorDash. This is an unfortunate development as their previous delivery service worked out great. I enjoyed tipping extra for the side all-around service. I'm a pick up only customer now. read more

Great place to grab a quick dinner before leaving the city. Stopped in last night 40 minutes before they closed. There was a Young American born guy taking orders. I could tell he loved his job. My wife asked about their Lo Mein dish. "What Kind do you have". The young guy rapid fire listed every protein and option available. It was reminiscent of the Bubba scene in Forrest Gump! I've ordered from this place twice. The customer service over the phone is extremely polite. The food is absolutely on par and they stuff the take out boxes absolutely to the rim! Extremely generous portions on top of delicious food has me sold. The polite delivery drivers are a breath of fresh air. They include generous amounts of sauces and fortune cookies as well. Went to china king after it re-opened during the pandemic. I found the serving size has gotten much smaller from before. Full size order used to come in the large box container, now it comes in a twice smaller lunch size container. Yet the price remains the same. See picture next to soy sauce packets. I order my meal for delivery. Was told 45 min to an 1 hour it was be delivered. I called after and hour wait they said it would be right there just left. Half hour later still no food. Called back and they said they were in my apartment area and looking for my apt. So it took another 30 minutes for them to find me. My food was cold when I received it. The lo mein is delicious, but their chow mein is not chow mein...I was very sad when I ordered it and got what looked like a bucket of soup with some of those short, fat fried crisp noodle chip things. Seriously told me that even though they use latex gloves there are many steps in their cooking process so they cook the food so I wouldn't be allergic to the gloves because they cook the food! Then started yelling at me when I tried to explain to him that cooking something that someone is allergic to does not make them not allergic to it! I tried to explain to him that over 30% of hospital workers and first responders are allergic to latex and by using those gloves in his establishment that he is contaminating those people he told me that I am "full of shit" and to not eat there he continued screaming at me when I hung up on him! I have been coming to China King for years now. It had been about a year since there last. The experience this time was not the greatest. My wife is diabetic & was asking for recommendations on their menu. Foods that were high in carbs and grains were being recommended. My son and I ordered General Tso's chicken and it tasted like seafood. We dined in and a cold front had moved in. Well they had a beverage delivery & kept going in and out of the front door. One of the gentleman with a cigarette in his mouth the whole time & blew snot out of his nose right in the front entrance. Well where do I start. We have been customers for a long time and I cannot complain about one thing. We eat in every Wednesday and the place is always clean, the food is always hot and delicious. When I entered, what I believe the be the owner was yelling and slamming the phone down going off because they messed up someone's order and they called in to let him know. He was loudly going off slamming the phone receiver down and picking up the whole phone and slamming it down because he was angry they were cut off mid-sentence. We were quoted 30-45 minutes on a delivery. An hour later, I called to check on the status of the order. I was told it was out and on the way. An hour and a half later, the order showed up. The OWNER delivered it. He was unapologetic to say the least! I asked what he was willing to do to compensate us for the ridiculous wait time. He offered 10% off my NEXT ORDER. What? My NEXT ORDER? We just moved to Arnold and tried China King out for the first time. Ordering online was very simple and they delivered on time with piping hot food. The food was amazing and very well priced. We had the crab Rangoon which were massive, Szechuan chicken that was outstanding and the shrimp fried rice. We will definitely order from here again!! read more

Great food, ill give them that, BUT you can get great Chinese food at other establishments in Arnold without dealing with rude service. For example, my fiance & I spent $30 there (for pick up) upon picking up our food i asked for a condiment container so i could fill it with kikkoman soy sauce (the bottles on the table) & the lady...Im pretty sure shes the owner, informed me that there are packages of soy sauce beside the soda machine. I then informed her that i do not like that soy sauce, & that i wanted kikkoman. She then said, "bottles are for dine in customers, you get packages." My response was, "No, i gave you $30 for food, whether i take my food home or not im just as much entitled to the condiments i want as any other customer & that ill even pay, but i wont be back" Then I swear...she gave me a tiny 1oz cup of soy sauce.
