In town, staying next door at the Drury. Ordered for pickup, it was ready by the time I walked across the parking lot. Fried Dumplings were good. Veggie fried rice was okay - some broccoli and pea pods, but pretty average. I wouldn't drive across town for this, but it was convenient. read more

After working a 13 hr day at work all o wanted to do is eat some Chinese and call it a day. My husband called to place the order, pot stickers (stemmed) chicken fried rice, egg rolls and asked to "please add some extra sweet n sour sauce packets". That request was for me, I love a little rice with my sweet n sour. Simple enough, right? Apparently not! The guy who answered the phone was rude and acted as though taking our order was an inconvenience. When my husband asked him approximately how long for delivery the guy replied "an hour" then hung up without another word. Well, an hour and 20 mins later we received our order. By the way, it's Tuesday night. I would hate to find out how long it would have taken to get an order on Friday or Sat night. We're starving by this time so we immediately get in the $40.00 bag of rice, pot stickers and egg rolls to find our pot stickers we're fried and NOT EVEN 1 pack of sweet and sour sauce! My husband called them to tell them about the pot stickers and no sauce. No answer at 9:45. They close at 10:00. We placed our order at 8:20. Our experience was not good. We will not order from here again. read more

I requested white meat and wasn't told it was a up charge which isn't a issue but I think she should have told me it was. I ordered sesame chicken and it didn't taste like sesame chicken, the chicken fried rice was plain and the crab rangoon was cold so I asked for hot ones and she argued with me that they weren't cold so I said try them and I told her she can have them back I don't want them, I want hot ones. The owner was very rude to me as a costumer and for that I will not be back and it's also very hard to understand her. Also be ready for a long wait. Save your money and go somewhere else!!! read more

We're new to the area and need a good Chinese place when I take a break from dinner. We ordered the basic lo mien, general Tao chicken and spicy chicken. The lo mien was good and not salty much like other places. Both the chicken dishes were great. It'll definitely be out place to get Chinese. read more

The staff was very nice and welcoming. Our noodles were fine, but the General Tso chicken was nasty. The flavor was okay (although there was barely any sauce), but the chicken was tough, stringy, and I ended up throwing it all away. read more

Huge delicious stuffed full crag Rangoon, awesome egg rolls and delicious sesame chicken! And they deliver! All this is a huge plus!

Wanted egg foo young, so we found this place. Crab Rangoon was wonderful, but shrimp in Happy Family tasted funny. Then after dinner, my husband told me that the cook was wiping sweat from his face and throwing it to the floor (and whatever else it might have landed on!!) he didn't tell me earlier so he wouldn't ruin my dinner!! Guess we'll pitch our leftovers!! Certainly will not return. read more

food was good for years but the past 4 times have been bad the last time the food I ordered wasn't what was ordered I think ? what I got was something couldn't see anybody ordering. The worst thing is trying to find some other place that has good food read more

The new manager is awesome the delivery speed has increased by 10 times the crab rangoons of homemade and delicious I highly recommend this Chinese restaurant read more

They always have large portions. Never a long wait. My comfort food! Loved them for years. Recommended. But I would like if they knew my name. I've spent probably thousands over the years. They should know my name by now. I watched their kids grow from tots to restaurant help. Indeed best Crab Rangoon!! read more

This location is nothing like the other ones. The sesame combination lunch platter didn't taste like the sauce for sesame. The crab Rangoon was sitting then brought to the table way b4 the entree so it was cold and the cashier did not want to remake only wanted to microwave. She was very rude and wanted to upcharge for everything even bean sprouts. She was far from being a good cashier or good waitress. The resturaunt was not very clean either. I will not be back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

Tried to order food on line. I put my debit card in and placed my order. Fee few minutes later, a lady from the restaurant called me to tell me that my card had declined. I told her that I would check the balance and call back. Turns out I didn't have enough money on that card. When I went back to the website to input my second card, the order was gone so I put in a second order. I checked my phone and saw that the restaurant had called me while doing so, so I called them back to verify that they'd received the second order. Let me explain that this is a $50+ order. I get this nasty man on the phone. Very upset with me that I had put a second order in online because it charges the store twice. Not sure what that means to the customer. I am a single mother, so for me to spend $50 is a big deal. I asked the guy to just put my order in and explain that I had had a bad day and he was pissing me off and he advised me to go to another restaurant. I have been spending money at different China King locations for more than 20 years. I must say that I have never been treated with so much disrespect! Now it's 9pm at night and I have to find something different for my children to eat. THANKS CHINA KING read more

The take out place by my house recently closed (it wasn't that good anyway), and the one by my work is slow, rude, and everything tastes the same. So I was happy to find this place 1/2 way between home and work. I've been 4-5 times. The food is always good. The last time I went and carried out I got to work and the order was messed up - no rice. I called and complained and they promised to bring me the missing right to work. OK, that's pretty good, I guess. I went in tonight and the girl started taking my order, then in the middle answered the phone. The proceeded to take 2 more calls one after the other while I waited. One of the calls was a woman complaining that her order was wrong. I literally stood there for 10 minutes while she dealt with this. Eventually the man (owner?) came an took my order. When it finally was finished I had been there for 50 minutes. During my wait time the woman whose order was wrong came in quite mad and had very loud argument with the owner about the incorrect order. The owner then screamed at the counter girl and told her to go in the back and sit down. I didn't see her after that. Got home and the food was pretty good. I ordered 2 egg rolls and the filling was dark brown and had a vinegar taste. I ate one and threw the other away. The food is generally better than the average take out joint, but the long wait, obvious inability to get an order right, and chaotic atmosphere makes it unlikely that I will return. read more

Last couple times I ordered from here. Got more onions than meat it was pathetic. Can't say I've ever loved their dishes. However, I have found a place that I can say I love their dishes! I am happy with the switch! read more

DO NOT EAT HERE! My order took over an hour to arrive and then was wrong. I called to have it corrected and was told the manager would have to call me back. 15 minutes later I had to call again and was told the manager was still out and for them to correct my order they would have to charge me for the new order that I was supposed to get in the first place. I will never get food from here again. I can't believe anyone runs a business like this. Don't think they'll be in business much longer with service like this. read more

I've yet to be disappointed there!! The fried rice is excellent, my mom digs the crab rangoon, I especially love the shrimp egg foo yung.

Love this place...Food is always good and they give generous portions. I'll go here over Panda Express anytime.

We order from here at least once a week. Everything is always hot, fresh and delicious. Hands down the best Chinese food in Arnold. My wife is a big fan of the Sesame Chicken and I usually go for the chicken with garlic sauce. The restaurant itself is not super bright or fancy, but the food is EXCELLENT. One note, delivery can take a while, so if you are in a hurry pick-up is the way to go. Food is always ready within 10-15 minutes of ordering. read more

***avoid***not sure where to start! walked in to three dirty tables (that were never wiped down the whole hour we were there-although they were not busy & the employees had time to sit & watch storage wars on the t.v.) another table had a whole box of sugar snap peas on it's side that someone must of been cleaning & left there unattended (again not touched the whole hour we were there-gross)--no pepper anywhere to be found & glass soy containers on tables were dirty on the outside, don't think they ever wipe them down! Dude at the counter was rude & unfriendly-the phone rang twice while we were there and he literally let it ring three times each time before he got up from the booth he was lounged in watching storage wars to answer it!!!! no forks in bins, got my own out of storage boxes, then watched employee refill them with no gloves on after she had been playing with her greasy hair...ugh!!!! food was mediocre to say the least, hard to identify any chicken in the dish & fried rice is very greasy, could not finish the meal & left disgusted by dirtiness & yucky food! establishment is disgusting!!!!! no pride in business & lazy lazy employees!!!! we will not be back!!!!! read more

My favorite chinese place in Saint louis!! I don't go here as often as I should, that's mostly due to the fact that chinese food is very flavorful and I get tired of it fast. Whenever I get a craving form some chinese, this is the place I go to. I love their orange chicken as its crispy and not soggy like the other places. The crab rangoon is also very good and the portions are huuuuge :). read more

If it wasn't for this food. I would literally die. Well I guess the same is true about any food. But this food in particular is pretty good. I mean if I was to go somewhere else, sure my life would be sustained, but is that a life worth living? Maybe. Wendy's is pretty good. All in all I would like to say that without food there would be no fried dumplings. Thanks. read more

HORRIBLE !!!! We have ordered from here multiple times!! The last 3 times 4 tonight I have asked for sweet and sour sauce and have not received ANY!!! I told the lady on the phone that spoke PERFECT English that this has happed to us and could you please make sure it is in there this time. She said she would!!! Got our food and there were NO SAUCES at all!! I called her and she told me that they had a new driver and it was his fault!!! I asked her well if you know he is NEW and we have had this problem can you make sure we get some sweet and sour?? She said yes I will. Delivery here and not 1 sauce pack for ANYTHING!!! Done!!!! And it took 1 hour!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

Just left another Chinese restaurant to come here... I order, get my food, get home and not all of the order is there. I call ~ They are going to give me credit for next visit ~ but I only come her about once every 5 years. I tell them this and ask if they could just deliver it...which they do. Thank you for that. I do enjoy their food. read more

I placed an order for delivery and they told me it would arrive within 45 minutes to an hour. After an hour and a half went by I called and they stated it would be another 20 mins. I asked for a discount and the manager was rude and argumentative. After being on the phone for 10 minutes listening to him yell, he finally gave me a discount and told me NEVER ORDER FROM HIM AGAIN!!! Then he hung up on me. I placed an order, waited over 2 hrs for it to be delivered, and then was told never order from him again??? I would strongly discourage anyone to order from this restaurant. The quality of the food isn't the greatest either. We ordered cashew chicken and it had 95% veggies in it. Very little chicken and cashews. I would strongly recommend if you want Chinese food with excellent customer service & quality you do not order from this place. read more

I ordered chicken kung pao, egg rolls and hot and sour soup. The soup and eggrolls were pretty good. The main dish, however, was lousy. very little chicken or peanuts. almost all fried rice and tiny cut up vegetables. looked like they were out of a can. no taste what so ever except for the salt. greasy. That dish is supposed to be spicy. This was not. I think maybe new owners or new chef, cause it was really lousy compared to the last time I was there read more

Their food is always very good and I've never had a mix up with my orders. My problem is when I place a to-go order and they tell me 45 mins to an hour and the food shows up two hours later.. I ordered my lunch very late at 6 pm and it didn't arrive until almost 8 pm. I leave work at 8. I'm glad it got there before I actually left work. Granted, yeah it's a Saturday night, but give me a correct wait time on how long it will take so I can order somewhere else and not receive my food as I'm about to walk out of the door to go home. read more

I called them place an order waited an hour to call and find out that my food was not even done yet to be delivered to my home very unpleased with the service here read more

My family and I have been loyal patrons from the day they opened. We never do delivery, just takes too long. We've dined in numerous times. Service and quality of food has always been outstanding. I only wish they would serve stuffed baby squid and mussels. Also if I request something to be extra or extremely spicy or hot there's never a problem. They just smile and say okay. This is a family run business that has always treated me and my family like, well family. I recommend this place just about anybody in or around town for a Chinese place. read more

0/5 stars, but it wouldn't let me put 0. DO NOT order delivery from here. The food is outstanding, but the delivery has been a joke time and time again! I have tried and tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, and every time I'm more and more disappointed. Each time I have to call at least once, if not twice, to find out where my food is. I placed my order on the app at 617pm for an ETA of 712. At 745pm, my husband called to check on the status. We were told it was out on the car for delivery. Waiting an hour & 1/2 sucks, but we accepted it. At 810pm I called back from my phone and was told an identical response (it's on the car for delivery). It JUST arrived at 824pm and I'm livid. There was no apology or acknowledgement of any kind about the lateness, but the driver was talking to my husband about his car & how fast it was instead. Not to mention my order is WRONG. I'm beyond angry. DO NOT waste your time, or your money doing business with this location (at least by delivery). It's laughable at best. read more

I have been a customer of this establishment for many years and throughout all of them I have NEVER had a complaint until now. It seems that they are under new management with new employees. On 4/7 I placed a carryout order which was repeated back to me as well as my phone number. Afterwards, I concluded the call by telling them that I would be there in 10 minutes. When I got there she said that I had hung up on her and that she had not placed the order. Okay, everyone learns by their mistakes if they own them. While I waited at the counter for my order, this young lady had pulled up a stool and was sittin just inside of the kitchen, on the left, and was coughing..not covering her mouth or turning her head. At that point I had asked for the manager and after I explained this entire situation to him he apoligized and said that complaints were to learn from, which I agree with, I paid for my order and left. On 4/20 I placed another carryout order. Again, the order was repeated back to me along with my phone number. I picked up my order and found it to be wrong when I got home, at which point I just decided to let it go...until today. I called to place a carryout order, once again. I began the call by explaining that under the new management my last 2 orders had issues so I hoped that the third time would be the charm. After each item was ordered there was a noticeable pause and then she read it back to me. I sent my daughter to pick it up and she checked it, this time, before she left. The order was wrong. She explained to the employee what was wrong and the employee proceeded to get argumentive and defensive by saying that she repeated the order back 1, 000 times. For the record, English is this employee's first language. When my daughter returned home with a correct order and told me what had happened, I called the manager. I began by explaining the continued issues with this particular employee. At that point he began by lecturing me about what I had to say. I stated that I wouldn't be returning and he then told me that he would not accept anymore orders from me. Soooo if you recieve the same kind of service, don't be surprised, apparently he's not interested. You might just want to save yourself some grief by going elsewhere because this sure isn't the same place where I have been a long time loyal customer...smh. read more
