I went to get white polish on my toe nails, and the guy doing my toes was using the drill to smooth out my toenails I guess and broke my toenail, at the end he didn't try to fix it and said my toes wouldn't look alike because my toe nail was chipped. I asked could they fix it. Then a lady took over and put the white toenail polish on my toes messy. Everyone knows when you have white any little mistake even if it's not smooth it shows up. Then they kept doing my toes over cause they weren't white they kept having streaks of black in them. Their customer service is poor and when they make mistakes they don't know how to fix them I had to go home and fix my toes. read more

I called at 1:40pm to schedule a 2:00 PM appointment with Vicky. The gentleman said, "Okay, I have you booked." I arrived in time and was told Vicky just left for an emergency. He then asked if someone else could help. I agreed. Out comes the guy that ALWAYS have an issue with a customer when I've been here. He starts on my pedicure and is so rough and snatching the skin off to hard. He looks up then asks me if I want to sit and wait for Vicky . Vicky's husband takes over and he isn't much better. He asks if I want o come back in a couple of hours to have Vicky do them. No, I have a hair appointment. He asks if I want to come afterwards. Naw! I'm not spending my entire afternoon fooling with y'all! The husband gets the hot towel and throws it on my legs and start the chop, chop! Arghhhj! It's hot and burning. Ugh! Geez! I need to get out of here and I will NOT be back. Never cheat on your beautician or mail technician. I will be going back to Lovely Nails. read more

If you are going to this salon, wait for the lady that works there to help you. If you can't wait for her, go with the younger man in the salon. The older man was not very skilled. He was heavy handed. He flipped the emery board out of the drawer onto the floor. Then looked at me to see if I noticed. I did. He reached into the drawer & pulled out another one. He may have had allergies (???) He kept sniffing & wiping the end of his nose on the back of hand & finally excused himself to the back room where he blew his nose - yes, you could hear it from inside on the salon floor. Some of the toenails were clipped noticeably shorter than the others. Not very nimble w/the cuticle scissors either. At one point, he nipped my toe. Perhaps, it was the gloves (????) But he even had trouble swiping my card when he wasn't wearing gloves. He could have finished quicker if he had not been so involved in the conversation of the lady seated next to me & her technician. I stopped in because they take walk-ins & I had grocery shopping to do. There were several places I passed on the way to Great Nails. Don't let the name fool you, great nails? More like awful nails. I went with my mom and heard her across the room shouting "OUCH" as the man ripped her cuticles till they bled. I'm leaving with a manicure that I wasted money on and could have done a better job. We went here to treat ourselves and left feeling awful. read more

Truly the WORST pedicure I have EVER EVER had!!!! The guy yanked my big toe nails on the edges until they ripped and bled! Then he did the other big toe that way! What the heck?!?! Wimpy filing , kept dropping tools on the ground, poked around with a random tool, awful polishing and clueless. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! read more

Great experience, I had chipped gel polish removed and dip applied. My experience with dip was the best ever. She preserved my natural nails well during the removal process and prepping for the dip. The dip turned out beautiful and not thick like I have experienced in the past. Will go back! read more

I gave one star because it said you had to put something. My mother and I came to try this place because it was close by our house. Since the beginning there have been little things that we didn't like but we hoped it would get better. They never answer the phone. To try and make an appointment this week I called probably 10 times over 2 days. They are never open the posted hours. They seem to come in late or close early daily. The final straw was last night. I had made an appointment and we get there to find out that they have closed early. No note on the door or anything. If you are looking for a nail place in this area I would keep looking elsewhere. read more

This is a new nail salon near a 103rd & State Line. They offer a very good basic pedicure for $25. More extras for a few bucks. Friendly, helpful, patient staff. Took my 85 y/o mom in for a pedicure & they were great with her. We will be back! read more

I went and got a Dip manicure which was absolutely terrible! My nails aren't smooth, and they left a lot of glue on my fingers. She put one top coat that barely did anything, turned on the fan and then started doing the hand massage. No drying under a heater like every other place I've gotten Dip done. I was charged $47 for crap! Very disappointed and will never go back! read more

I walked into Great Nails at 4:03 today and asked to get my acrylics removed. The lady helped the customer who walked in behind me get situated before telling me to soak my fingers. She then proceeded to walk out the door! I sat soaking my hands for an hour while yet another walk in customer was helped before me. When someone finally came over to remove my nails, my hands were still covered in stick from the acrylic coming off and there was still some of the acrylic left on my nails! It was 5:15 by the time I was able to walk out the door, and they didn't offer me any kind of discount for how long I waited. Terrible customer service and long wait times! Normally I'm not one to complain, but I will not be returning! read more
