As you can see from the good nails I got a nice color being A3. But 3-4 days after the nails polish began to peel off. 3 nails have started to peel or have fallen off. There was a new guy I assumed because people were watching him and helping with everything. The vibe was very clean. I would not come back here if I wasted 1hr of the day for 3 days later my nailpolish peeling off.
Hit or miss with Sassy Nails. This time I got a gel manicure ($35) and eyebrow wax ($12). I was charged $3 for an "extra service" but unsure if this was for removal of the gel mani I already had on or because she put lotion and gave a small hand massage after my gel mani. I did a walk in and only had to wait 15-20 minutes. After my eyebrow wax, my skin was very red and hurt more than normal. The next day you could tell skin was removed and looks like a scab under my eyebrow and my skin is still red. I won't get my eyebrows waxed here again. Happy with the gel manicure.
All I can say is DANNY DID THAT THANG. MIC DROP*. This gold foil set and sharp nails are my favorite and he "nailed" it. I believe his quote was. "You don't have to love what you do, but you do have to have a passion for it ". Preach.

Not sure who you think I am, but everything you said is a lie and you don't know who I am at all. 1-you don't sincerely apologize for anything. Your response proves that. 2-I was minding my business. You are just loud AF. There was no music and I wasn't close to the TV so I was forced to listen to the convos around me and, again, you're loud AF so that's all I heard. My tech didn't speak English so we had no convo 3-I have never once asked any tech, at any salon I've been to, their opinion on my color choice. So that's a lie, so is saying I took your opinion-when none was asked for or given. That's a convo that never even happened. You actually made your comment when my nails were already done and getting their final wipe with the cotton-they were done, how can you give your opinion when the color was already picked and applied?? You're lying for zero reason. 4- *I* didn't make anyone uncomfortable, certainly not your client. I didn't say anything the entire time nor did I even look in her direction...she also left before me?!? So again, you're lying...for zero reason. 5-it's been a year from my last review,trust, haven't stepped foot back in and never will. It's 2022-how are you unaware any client at any time could be judging and "criticizing" you or you work. I'm paying for a service, I expect it to be done correctly. That's part of being in your industry is getting judged Funny you never addressed anything else about my reviews ie the dog pooping, my toes being cut, etc. all you care about is being called out for your attitude and lack of professionalism. Which is hilarious and no way to run a business. You have proven in person and now by this that you are incredibly immature. Grow up and do better. Stop your lies.

I think he was annoyed because he did not even try at all to make them look nice. My pinky is just a slash of color. I'm extremely disappointed in what I paid for. He could have said no if he was unable to even try to make a reasonable cloud. I'm really not super picky but this was sort of bizarre. The woman who did my eyebrows was super kind and did a great job!
Employees are really rude. Did an ok job on a basic pedicure. Ask and expect for something basic- nothing fancy because they get irritated and inpatient rather than being helpful.... would give 3.5 if I could but not rounding down. Would only return if I was in the area and in a hurry.
People clearly love Sassy Nails. The first time I came here it was around 6 PM on a weekday, and it was PACKED. There was barely room to sit, and most of the customers seemed to be regulars. The owners had a good rapport going with everyone. I got a snowflake design done that I had found on Pinterest, and Michelle did a great job. I got tons of compliments and they were so beautiful! A day or two later, the rhinestones ended up falling off, but she was nice enough to fix that for me for free and even gave me a quick gel polish to make them stick! The customer service/friendliness here is the best I've seen at any nail salon, and they're really good at nail art/designs. If you come, try to come more mid-afternoon when it's less crowded (and I would assume mornings are the same) - there's a long wait later in the evening.
I got a message on here from possibly the owner saying that next time I should try asking specifically for a certain person (I forgot the name and can't find the message now) for a more professional job. This is a joke as no one new would know to ask specifically for that person. There was no offer to fix my nails or refund.

I visit Sassy nails about a week and a half ago now. I had just gotten my nails done at another salon a day prior. But they weren't shaped very well at all. I decided to go to Sassy's to see if they could help me out. They agreed to help and it wasn't even their work so I appreciated that. Brandon shaped my nails and gave me a gel polish change. He definitely knows what he is doing! I was very happy with how my nails turned out. Even now that they're growing out they still look great ! read more

Nice, clean nail shop--I just got the wrong tech. Either way, I was definitely overcharged for what I received. I could've gotten some glitter polish from Target and achieved the same effect. $60 for whaaat? So disgusted I couldn't get out the shop fast enough and the elderly tech seemed VERY pleased with herself. NEVER AGAIN. read more

Don't go to sassy nails for Gel. I have been twice and the next day my gel is falling off. And the older lady doing my nails cut my cuticle and made me bleed for the rest of the time I was there. They don't really seem to care about how your nails turn out or if they last. read more

Requested eyebrow waxing and left with a burn on my face. When I notified management, I was told "it wasn't done on purpose". Both intention and skill are found lacking at this salon. Beware! You will come in for a service to enhance your appearance, and sadly you may leave with injury. read more

This place was the worst nail salon I have been to in the 19 years I have been getting my nails done. The owner Brandon was extremely rude and condescending and they refused to own up to their mistakes. Brandon acted like he didn't have a clue what was going on when there was an issue. However, the nice lady who did everything for him was nice enough to fix the messed up paint on my toenails. I was completely shocked by the quality of work by the two girls doing pedicures Nancy and Amy. A big waste of money and certainly unsatisfactory. !!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!! I called in the day before Valentine's Day thinking maybe they would be booked but, they did not disappoint at all. She answered my questions and was patient with me, She then told me I was welcome to come on in as a walk-in. I got a Pedicure and a New full set of Acrylics. The atmosphere was very welcoming and I didn't feel like I was being rushed. I made sure to ask if They could do a replica of my picture reference on Pinterest and they said yes, although I had my doubts, I put my trust on my nail technician. ENDY was amazing! The process took about an hour and a half but, I'm not complaining. The experience was very relaxing and fun! He took his time with the process and made sure I was happy with the result! The girl Hannah did a horrible job on my nails I don't like them at all showed the girl a picture and did she did whatever is on my hands right now! I ended up paying $60 and they wasn't even long very overpriced read more

We loved our nails so much. First time here. I wish I remembered who did my nails but she was amazing at her work. Her personality was perfect. She was very patient on what I wanted. I will definitely be coming back I forgot her name but I know I'll remember if I seen her. read more

Brandon is the best... always perfect alway fast. Favorite nail salon I've found thus far in KC since I moved here last September. So excited for pedicure season... Update on this review: so as I said Brandon is AMAZING but I won't trust ANYONE else with my nails there again I got acrylic set with gel polish LAST FRIDAY they started breaking on MONDAY and I'll show you the picture from today, only seven days later. I can't remember the woman's name... but I'm not happy. My pedicure and eyebrows were ok... but this right here is unacceptable. I would have gone back to get them fixed but haven't had time. I think they have a seven day policy which is understandable, but it was a miracle I had time to go in there the last time now I have to make time again to get them re-done before the week is up??? This makes me really sad because I really liked that place. They are always friendly the place is beautifully decorated and clean. read more

After living in Kansas City for two years I finally found the best nail salon in KC. I've gone twice the second time they nailed the shape and Were very gentle with the drills. I paid $45 for a coffin shape dip powder on my natural nail. read more
I was really weary trying out a new nail place but Sassy Nails got the job done! I got exactly what I asked for and was able to make an appointment for the future as well. If you're on the fence about trying this place out, GO. It is great! I'm picky about my nails and am so happy I gave it a chance. read more
