Ken was my technician. He is polite, very organized, and makes good suggestions. However, one time I had an appointment and waited 15 minutes before someone else had me sit at a station to prepare my nails. It was so long that the water got very cool. No explanation or apology was offered for the delay. Hoping it would not happen again, I booked another appointment. WRONG ! This time, despite being early ( I always go early to appointments to make certain I am on time), I waited 20 minutes from the actual time of my appointment. No one acknowledged my waiting. Finally, I went to Ken's station and said I had to leave. Some other person stood there acting surprised. Again, no excuse or apology. This place shows no respect for patrons. Are walk-ins being given preference to those with appointments? If that is the case, they should not be given to a technician who has someone booked unless their manicure can be completed without delaying someone else. This is a nice salon in a location convenient for me, but apparently their attitude needs to be improved. Not to mention the THICKNESS of these things. My nails are also incredibly sore because she removed the first mistake tips so harshly. My first visit was great. The nail tech took his time with my dip manicure and it lasted 3 weeks, no cracks! I completely missed getting his name. I went back a second time and Samy did my dip manicure. Not as impressed as my first visit. The nails didn't dry long enough and she applied the oil. I didn't notice several nails smudged so I had to go back the next day to get them fixed. It's been about two weeks and 3-4 of my nails have cracked. I'm so torn about going back. Wow! I walked in and was immediately impressed by the beautiful decor and vast selection of polish colors. Great location also. Their chairs were spotless and very comfortable. Leather massage chairs that my nail technician, Nancy, helped me set up. She was so wonderful, and checked in with me now and then to make sure I was comfortable. She was meticulous and very gentle. So friendly as well. They offer punch cards!!! Something I have never seen at a nail salon before, and it's a great idea. I love the idea of being rewarded for being a loyal customer. Just had my nails done this morning by Na. She's very attentive. I love how my dip nails came out. There's this two week assurance where if the dip Nails were damage within the two weeks, we can come back and get it fix for free. I got the shade 110 today. I would not recommend this nail salon at all. My appointment was at 1pm and they didn't get started on me until 1:30ish, maybe even later. Sadly, they took white women who were walk ins OR had 1:30 appointments over me. I'm not sure why they ignored me or didn't treat me like every other costumer there, but I sure hope it was not because of my skin color. I was practically in tears wondering why they were ignoring me so much. I should have walked out then and there. Once they started on me, I wanted an acrylic removal so the girl who did my nails soaked me in a bowl of nail polish remover. She stated she would be back in 5 mins but she ended up coming back 25 mins later (because she was working on that 1:30 appointment client that they took first over me). She left me for SO LONG in the acetone that my fingers dried out and wrinkled up. I have never in my life walked out of a nail salon with the skin on my fingers looking SO disgusting. In the picture I posted, you can see all the wrinkle lines on my fingers, and that's after I put a ton of lotion on my fingers to hydrate them. When normally, my fingers are smooth and hydrated. My husband even saw them and said "oh my gosh what happened to your fingers" ... Once they got started on my nails, I asked for cute simple spring flowers on a few of my fingers. I specifically asked them if they knew how to do it and they said yes. The girl who did mine, did them so quickly and they came out soooo sloppy. I didn't ask them to fix them or do them over again because I just wanted to get out of that salon. If you want a simple manicure, this place is decent but if you want anything more than that, save your money and go somewhere else. read more

I've been in to this salon a handful of times. The atmosphere and aesthetics are wonderful. The staff is super sweet, it is very clean and the clientele all seem to really be enjoying themselves. I had my dipped nails done here once. They were actually priced super reasonably but they came out thick and mishapen. I realize that this is a fairly advanced technique for nail techs and have only been back for pedicures since. They did a great job on my salon pedicures. Overall, I really like this salon. Was in Overland Park for work and needed some maintenance! Coming from California I was looking for a fabulous nail salon and this place fit the bill. The salon is clean and everyone is extremely friendly. They open a new sterile package of tools for each client and each pedicure bowl uses a new plastic cover. Both times my nails looked wonderful and the gel lasted a long time without peeling. They offer a variety of services but never pushed any of them on me or tried to "up sell" me. She had the receipt as well. I also sent her a screenshot of the transaction in my bank account to show them. They called their manager and he basically called her a liar. They must have given me a used card because how could she have used it on August 9th when it wasn't purchased until August 24th???
