It's funny seeing this spot as a nail salon now -- I grew up knowing it as a random home goods store next to the Panera by my high school. The transformation is impressive! The atmosphere is upscale, calm, and inviting, with relaxing music that makes it easy to unwind. My nail tech, Eric, took great care of me. He was friendly, attentive, and clearly took pride in his work. He even helped me settle on the perfect nail shape and color, which turned out beautifully. I was more than pleased with both my manicure and pedicure -- he did a fantastic job. The prices were great, especially for the quality and relaxing environment. I did a classic mani pedi for $75 (before tip). I also appreciated that they take walk-ins, since I stopped by on a whim after another appointment nearby. The only thing I'd recommend is allowing customers to pay before their manicure -- I wanted to tip in cash but didn't want to risk messing up my nails afterward. I truly hate leaving bad reviews for small businesses, but our experience at this salon was so disappointing that I feel compelled to share. A group of us went together and, unfortunately, every single one of us left with issues. We had four pedicures, a full set, a manicure, and gel nails done, and not a single service was done well. All four pedicures were rushed, with the shortest massages imaginable--but the real issue was the constant mistakes. Instead of fixing things properly, they would repeatedly wipe off the polish and start over, only to mess up again. In some cases, they didn't even apply a top coat to save time. We were there for nearly two hours simply because they kept having to redo the same nails. I appreciate and respect trying to make things right but it was so bad and it wouldn't get better. One of our friends just had to leave with an unfinished job after multiple failed attempts, finally giving up after nearly two hours. On top of that, the gel polish has already started chipping and peeling--less than 24 hours later--because it was applied in only a few thin, layers. I love supporting small businesses and truly appreciate great customer service, but unfortunately, this salon did not provide either. I wouldn't return and can't recommend it based on our experience. read more

Love this salon. The staff is always so nice and welcoming. They are fast but very efficient. I was a dip girl when I first came to this salon and they introduced me to builder gel. I was hesitant at first but they assured me they were well trained. Glad I gave them the chance! My nature nails are so strong and healthy now. I can go several weeks in between visits. I go to this salon at least once a month for a gel builder manicure. They do a really great job. My nails were a mess when I started going here last spring and they have grown and look great. You do need to make a reservation. They also do a great job training new employees. read more

This was my first time trying Yo Nails. The facility is lovely - spacious, well-decorated, and clean. I'd made a reservation for a manicure for 2. When we showed up, we were seated quickly. The staff were really nice. Despite having a reservation, the manicures took an hour. There was no polish to remove and we just got regular manicures. There was one manicurist floating between us so that accounts for a lot of the time spent. When my sister asked them to shape her nails rounded- square, there was no issue. When I asked them to trim my nails and shape them rounded, I was told there's an extra $5 fee for shaping. This is on top of the $30 manicure charge. When I pushed back on the $5 fee - given that she didn't mention until she was halfway through this part of the manicure - the owner said they could waive the fee. With the cost and the delay in services despite a reservation, I likely won't return. read more

Owner is rude. Arrived a little early to my appointment asked young man at the front desk where the restroom was , owner rudely interrupted and said no public restroom and some other rude comments . He thought I didn't speak his language. When I responded back that I had an appointment in his language to let him know I understood what he said his tune changed . The girl that did my pedicured did an ok job , polish didn't last but a few days before it chipped. I won't return for service and not knocking the tech , her boss , however, should learn business etiquette and never judge a book by its cover.. you never know what language others may speak read more

Crooked nails, gel polish has bumps, cut in multiple spots, uneven lengths, brushes for washing acrylics look like they were rusting at the base. She did my nails and then had my friend come over. Used the exact same towel, and tools for both of our services. Not even a dusting in between clients. Not very cleanly. I kept moving my hand back and mentioned what she was doing hurt; to which she responded to keep my hands still and then apologizing for cutting me multiple times and then blaming it on my hands and for having thin skin. I was cut which resulted in me moving, it was not me moving as to why I got cut. Not really anything great to say about this place unfortunately. We tried going to a different salon and they were completely booked, reviews were good so we decided to try Yo nails out. Maybe tech was having a bad/off day, or we just had a bad experience from the rest of the good reviews, but I will definitely not be returning. read more
