My second time going was horrible i had two ladies, one doing my pedi and another on my full set. The woman on my nails seem very annoyed at the fact i wasn't satisfied with what she was doing. If I'm paying my hard earned money i should have a say on how i want my nails. The lady on my pedi was sweet but seemed as if she didn't know what she was doing when it came to the chrome polish so the chrome powder isn't properly rubbed all the way in on my nails or toes. Obviously, you take a gamble going to a new place but I asked someone for their recommendation and they told me about this location. It was busy so that's usually a good sign. I am pleased with my results. I got dip done and it looks way more natural than acrylic nails. And it wasn't super expensive. I'd go back. They do an amazing job but they will take advantage of you when it comes to cost. I walked in for an acrylic fill with french tip. They charged me an additional $25 for the design because it was a "deep french" as well as $5 each for a long nail charge and shaping even though it was a fill. 2 quantities of 10 designs $20 and 1 quantity of 2 designs $5. I ended up paying the cost of a full set. $80. The work was great I just feel taken advantage of and will not be returning unfortunately. read more

My daughters and I went to get our pedicures. Liked booking online because it is hard to understand on the phone. So we checked in and even though I picked our service they were always asking. The wait wasn't bad even though we had appointments. My girl that did my toes did okay. I felt the pedicure was rushed which spending that kind of money, it shouldn't be. I shouldn't be rushed because they keep taking walk ins. So we asked about manicures and they said that if we came back around 3 we would get right in. So we come back, get seated. I asked her to even my nails out as I can grow nails but they are always different lengths. She was very rough. When cutting my cuticles she yanked at them and it was not a pleasant experience. She was always distracted talking to maybe her husband. So I got the dip nails with trim and shape. $50. My daughter was just talking about how we need to get them done again because both of the girls are catching on things. So she looked online at the price and selections and our price and service don't match up. I was told to stick my fingers in this small bowl for a couple of minutes. Then she went to worn ripping my cuticles. Then she proctor do the dip and shaping. That was it. No massage, no lotion, nothing on the list in my picture. WTH?!?! $50. I even left a 20% tip because at the time I took that I was getting the service but now I know I didn't. Between my pedicure and mani it literally took maybe 45 minutes. Oh the water was barely warm on the pedicure, when they used the towel that didn't wrap each leg like all the other places. They just put one towel on top. They also reused some of the supplies and I watched as they went to another client and didn't clean them. It is a shame because I really like the shape but I don't believe we will be back. I had gone because I heard they were good nails for a good price. I went here with high expectations for my senior prom nails and I knew I wasn't going to like it the second they started on my nails. I told her I wanted a certain length and she had made them shorter and all the nails were different lengths. My ring finger on one hand was long and sharp and the other ring finger was short and stubby. I had made it very clear what I wanted and I left very unsatisfied. Regardless of getting to my appointment 10 minutes early I was seated and not spoken to for 20 minutes which is fine. They started on my nails and said I had to wait to get them finished because she had double booked and needed to go work on someone else. Every 20 minutes I would get a new person doing my nails because they were so rushed. Their quality was sacrificed for their rushing. On top of that they were going to charge me $96 dollars for French tips with a small gold line on top. My nails are chunky and sloppy. I began to cry because of my nails and I have to give it to them for trying to make it better but they were not close to my expectation. This has been and has been my "go to" salon. I have gone here many many times and each time I am always pretty satisfied with the service I've been given. The last time I visited I was given service by Andee and she was so super sweet, had a very welcoming attitude and made me feel comfortable, listened to what I wanted. She has helped me before and I believe she remembered me from prior visits. The only reason I'm holding off on giving a full 5 star review is because of a few techs that I encountered; I didn't get or know any names, but they were speaking in a different language, kept looking at me, and smirking, some were laughing/giggling. Kinda got the feeling that they were judging me and or making fun of me. I'm a nail biter and it doesn't take me much when and if I get nervous.. so, I didn't appreciate that they were doing that towards me as they were standing literally right in front of me.. please do better in the way you treat customers as we pay you guys a pretty decent amount of money for service and expect us to tip you.. Oh my gosh. I literally never post reviews but this was such a horrible experience. We decided to take my daughter (3 years old) to get her nails painted here for her aunt's wedding. I did not have high expectations at all for how they would turn out, but just wanted a fun experience for my daughter. She knew to sit still while they painted her nails and she listened well to the lady who painted them, but the lady was SO rude. She was young with bangs and circle glasses. My daughter tried to engage with her multiple times because she was excited and they lady ignored her multiple times and just sternly told me to keep her hands still. She then finished and told us to sit there for 15 minutes while they dried. And she never came back. She was so rude to my daughter and just kept yelling at us to keep her still even when she was being still! I get you may not like working on little kids, but you offer the service and my child was just there for a fun mommy daughter date and now she never wants to go back plus her nails immediately came off in the bath that night. read more

Even though I had an appointment that I said before I wanted designs (it's in the name!) I felt very rushed and Victor tried to pressure my into gel polish which I didn't feel was necessary and he continued to try to pressure. I stuck to my guns and I feel like he did a poor job with it because of that. He didn't fill my nail the way I've had done before (look at my pinky in the first photo) and he put on the acrylic really uneven(see third picture), and he didn't put the top coat on all of the nail or seal the tip/edge of the nail with it so it's started to chip which I've never had with regular polish on acrylics before. I'm on vacation where my time is very strict and I don't have time to pay someone else to fix what they poorly did. My design is literally laughable and I promise you these nails won't last to two weeks before they NEED a fill. read more

I would go back to Nancy as for everything else I felt like I was constantly being pressure to "upgrade" and pay more money. For example I just wanted a regular pedi and a girl kept asking me if I wanted gel pedi and that it would be better for me. I have been going to Creative Nails since 2018. My very first encounter was with Michael, he is simply amazing. He always strives to make the best experience for all of the customers. The shop is managed by Mindy and Steve who too value each person and go above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied with your service. While some shops do not care, if there is anything wrong they will make it right. It is best to make an appointment and often when you arrive they are finishing up on the previous person but they will make sure you are taken care of next. They communicate and tell you about how much longer it will be before you are serviced and will do everything they can to accommodate you while waiting. This is the worst experience I've ever had at a nail salon. A highschooler was doing my nails and she specifically told me that she did not even have her nail tech license. She also told me that she wanted to go to college instead of going to nail tech school, so this is how I know she was not even in a nail tech program. I think this is illegal to charge for this if you do not have your license? She had only soaked off my nails and started to file them and already messed up my nails. I paid for them to soak off my nails, but I left before she could apply the dip powder to my nails. I have never been so rushed in my life even though I arrived 15 minutes early to my appointment. *** this was done Friday APRIL 8th, it is Tuesday APRIL 12th*** got recommended this place from a coworker. I'm not sure where it went wrong, maybe because of a surge of school proms. I will never be back. I'm very lenient on nail salons because I don't typically pay what a lot of people my age do nowadays. But I was floored. The day I went in I was already pretty emotional due to unforeseen circumstances so for those who in their mind say "well you should have said something", I chose not to unload on these workers or cry my eyes out in a nail salon lol. It was supposed to be relaxing. Plus I just give people the benefit of the doubt but holy cow. After doing this Friday and now it being Tuesday I just can't hold it in, I'm sorry. Firstly, the one painting my toes wanted to charge me $5 to take off my KISS nail covers I put on my big toes. I said no thank you and popped them off in a quicky lol. At the end tried to charge me for gel polish removal which I shut down with a quickness (I did reg polish a month old at home, if that's the case I'd removed it myself), I got just the reg polish (every other salon I went to still scrubbed the callus, trimmed the nails, and buffed and trimmed cuticle-- this salon does not apparently, all good-- just went ahead with acrylic nails on hands). Then I get to get my nails done, maybe I've been spoiled the other three salons in blue springs I went to, but many steps were skipped. Whatever chemicals were used on nails I assumed made the process faster-- cool! Then it started burning. At this point, I just wanted to leave but I truly believe in people being paid for their craft. I sucked it up. It burnt bad. It's never happened. Someone educate me please?! I have nails that weren't trimmed down at all, all new set, no cuticle trim, not only the reaction to the chemicals and burning but now my nail beds are dried out... I fought thru my pain (shoulda said something right?) as I was reading the PowerPoint screens that explain the refund policy I sat there thinking holy crap no matter what I say an apology can't help this. I will be getting a full new set at a new salon. The paint is dull, many polishes looked old, not to mention they had no UV lights so basically you get/pay for gel or your polish will be messed up. My polish on my left hand was ruined two hours later after I sat in the salon for over an hour and a half. I spent over $50 for what is pictured. The left hand is where you see what got marks after that time. I am so sad... I have to wait for my nail pain to go down to replace. And on top of that whoever did my nails, was rough as h*ll. Even if you're tired, it does count. I'm sorry but I cannot bring myself to come back. This was a horrible job. Also, a woman came in and sat next to me and waited so patiently, with an appointment and got to the point where she was ready to walk out for a SECOND time due to both times her trying to get her son in bed at a decent time. This is my go to nail salon! I've been a customer for a couple of years, and I won't go anywhere else. All of the techs are good, but I go to Michael. I'm a creature of habit; what can I say. I've done the entire spectrum -regular polish, gel, and now dipping powder. My nails are not thick and smooth as glass!! I am obsessed with these stiletto acrylic gel nails that I got done by Nia and Jayden! They did amazing on everything! Nia shaped my nails perfectly how I like them and was super patient with how I wanted my nails! Jayden added the black diamonds to top everything off! They continuously wiped down chairs, countertops, everything! Very clean! Steve was also an amazing man that occasionally checked up on me while I was getting my nails done!
