I needed my nails done at the last minute and didn't have time to go to my nail tech. Obviously, you take a gamble going to a new place but I asked someone for their recommendation and they told me about this location. It was busy so that's usually a good sign. I am pleased with my results. I got dip done and it looks way more natural than acrylic nails. And it wasn't super expensive. I'd go back. Reason for 4 stars, my nails aren't perfect and the lady who did them got distracted often. However, she was nice and they do look good.

My daughters and I went to get our pedicures. Liked booking online because it is hard to understand on the phone. So we checked in and even though I picked our service they were always asking. The wait wasn't bad even though we had appointments. My girl that did my toes did okay. I felt the pedicure was rushed which spending that kind of money, it shouldn't be. I shouldn't be rushed because they keep taking walk ins. So we asked about manicures and they said that if we came back around 3 we would get right in. So we come back, get seated. I asked her to even my nails out as I can grow nails but they are always different lengths. She was very rough. When cutting my cuticles she yanked at them and it was not a pleasant experience. She was always distracted talking to maybe her husband. So I got the dip nails with trim and shape. $50. My daughter was just talking about how we need to get them done again because both of the girls are catching on things. So she looked online at the price and selections and our price and service don't match up. I was told to stick my fingers in this small bowl for a couple of minutes. Then she went to worn ripping my cuticles. Then she proctor do the dip and shaping. That was it. No massage, no lotion, nothing on the list in my picture. WTH?!?! $50. I even left a 20% tip because at the time I took that I was getting the service but now I know I didn't. Between my pedicure and mani it literally took maybe 45 minutes. Oh the water was barely warm on the pedicure, when they used the towel that didn't wrap each leg like all the other places. They just put one towel on top. They also reused some of the supplies and I watched as they went to another client and didn't clean them. It is a shame because I really like the shape but I don't believe we will be back. Too many other locations. Also. Speak up when you are talking to your clients.

The service, was great! They were super busy and still were able to fit me in for a walk in, my artist was super sweet and made sure everything she did was correct and how i wanted it! they are redoing/expanding the shop, so it was a little loud but other than that i was super comfortable and will come again!!

I was a walk in on a busy sunday and they took amazing care. I've never been to this salon but will be back! Mindy did an amazing job! inflatiom post covid, a acrylic fill and cuticle treatment with gel and design, $70. I expected it, though. Will be back!

This was my first time coming to this nail spa. I called and they had availability right then, so I came in. The place is actually pretty nice inside. I got a gel polish toe change and it was $20 which is right on target for the area. My service took 20 mins total and I appreciated the nail techs timely service. I will be back to give them another try, if my gel polish last as long as it should.

The service I received today was impeccable and they even called to see if I could come in early, which works so much better for me!!I asked for something a little different. I had an idea in my head and Kimberly made it happen. For me it's the little things and the fact that Kimberly and Julie always give me what I want& and are always so warm and welcoming to me I don't seem to find that a lot in service based business is a lot. With the best customer service and just a nice experience every time. I won't go anywhere else or to anybody else.

I got dipping powder done & cuticle clean up by Mike. He was quick (but not too quick!), very personable yet professional. My nails turned out great & the shape is perfect. I moved about 30 minutes away and tried out a few nail salons closer to my home & work, but I'm back at Creative Nails because the quality is unbeatable!

Less than two weeks after this, I went to get a fill at a different place. As soon as they started shaving down the acrylic, I could see green coming through. She said the place I went before (Creative) did not clean my nails well and I had a nail fungus. I ended up getting a fungus from this place on half of my fingers. . They stopped the growth, but now it will be there and green for months until my nails grow out. Very disappointed.

6 days after and I already look like I need a fill.

Even though I had an appointment that I said before I wanted designs (it's in the name!) I felt very rushed and Victor tried to pressure my into gel polish which I didn't feel was necessary and he continued to try to pressure. I stuck to my guns and I feel like he did a poor job with it because of that. He didn't fill my nail the way I've had done before (look at my pinky in the first photo) and he put on the acrylic really uneven(see third picture), and he didn't put the top coat on all of the nail or seal the tip/edge of the nail with it so it's started to chip which I've never had with regular polish on acrylics before. I'm on vacation where my time is very strict and I don't have time to pay someone else to fix what they poorly did. My design is literally laughable and I promise you these nails won't last to two weeks before they NEED a fill.

Nancy is the sweetest!!! She listened to exactly what I wanted and executed perfectly!

I would give zero stars if i could. One of the worst pedicure experiences I've ever had. I paid for the deluxe pedicure and got more of a leg massage than anything else. Barely scrubbed my feet and had visible dead skin on my feet once he was "finished" When i spoke up, he immediately got an attitude. He did scrub my feet again but once he was done he barely dried my feet off so i walked out with damp feet. I will not be back. read more

It was extremely busy when I stopped by for a walk-in dipping powder manicure. They seated me immediately and started soaking off my previous powder, rather than having me sit and wait for an available technician. (Why haven't other salons figured this out as a way to speed up service?!). When a technician was available, my nails were ready to be clipped and cuticles cleaned up. My technician was Nancy and she was very fast. A couple of things to note, the cuticle clean up is $10 extra. I am fine with this, but I know some consumers expect that to be included in the price of the service. Also, I would consider this a "no frills" manicure. No lotion. No hand massage. According to their service list, it appears you can add these types of services for for additional $. Total time at the salon from check-in to check-out was one hour. In all honesty, it's the best-looking manicure I've ever had. read more

I went in on a Sunday for a relaxing gel nail, mani, pedi. This experience was the opposite of relaxing. I felt rushed. They did both services at the same time. The nail tech shoved the soak bowl in my lap while I was trying to enjoy the pedicure. The pedicure massage with stone was so fast that I was anxious rather than relaxed. Once the mani was done, the gel light was thrown in my lap. So I'm trying to balance the light on my lap while changing feet for my pedicure. The nail tech turned off my massage chair so she could do my nails. She was sloppy, did not do what I asked for, and was rude. I am still looking for an awesome mani/pedi spot it Lee's Summit. This was not it. I told the owner about my concerns when I left. He dismissed me and moved on to the next person. read more

Made an appointment for mani pedi and a full set, got the pedi and my feet are rougher then before I got it. The guy didn't seem like he liked being there, Never got the mani, usually I get dip nail but for some reason got gel full set. Was not made clear that gel was $15 I've never paid $70 for my nails before until now. They look stubby as well. The acrylic was on almost every finger I was pulling it off on my way home. Total for nail and toes was $100, never again will I go here read more

I have always liked this salon. But in the time of a pandemic, they are doing very little to exist within the confines of mask mandates. Half the employees had their masks under their nose - - which serves no purpose whatsoever - - and half the customers either were doing the same or were not even wearing a mask once inside the salon. There was no distancing between the chairs whatsoever. I felt uncomfortable for the entire time I was there and I will not be back. There are other salons that take the pandemic and Covid guidelines more seriously. I feel like all they cared about was the bottom dollar. read more

Nothing like walking up to try a new nail place, not being greeted at the front door (which it says you have to wait in your car on the door during pandemic times, which I totally get) but no instruction or way to ask about an appt is mentioned. I open the door to inquire about how to proceed and a woman glares at me then looks past me without saying hello to ask if two different groups of women walking up if they are there for an appt. She instead takes their temperature, ignores me, and I continue to stand in the rain. I ask for a pedicure and the water was cold. No one asked about the color or service I was there for. This was a very poor first impression. I won't be back nor will I recommend this place to anyone I know. The salon is also not set up or adhering to distancing recommendations. read more

I got a deluxe pedicure with gel polish and dipping powder on my fingernails. As always, they do a great job fitting you in, and my nails always turn out great. This is my go to nail place ever since I had my nails done for my wedding three years ago. My husband also goes here occasionally to get pedicures. read more

The sign outside advertised $30 for one color dipping powder nails, and the gentleman who greeted us said for $30 that included tips. The guy who did my nails asked me if I wanted tips and was going to charge me $40 for those and the dipping powder. I didn't care for how the price kept climbing, and the quality was only so so. read more

I've been going here for years and have never been unhappy. Even before COVID it was the most clean and hygienic salon I've ever been in. The staff is talented and knowledgeable, and is always immediately upfront if you ask for anything that is an extra charge-no surprises at the register like some other places. I bring my little sister sometimes too- they're great with kids! read more

Extremely disappointing experience today. And the last couple times I've come here. It seems as though the quality has steadily declined. I made a point to make an appointment today and asked for a mani-pedi and ended up waiting 50 mins before someone even bothered to come over while I kept noticing that walk ins kept getting seated and serviced. Even when they did come over, it was a rush job that they finished my pedicure in 10 mins. The opposite of relaxing and $26 for letting me soak my feet in water for 50 minutes? No thanks. If you have a whole day to spend here, cmon in because customers time, especially ones with appointments, is not valued here. read more

I walked in on a busy Friday and was very happy with the experience. The staff promptly greeted me, assisted me with selections, and made recommendations to assist me. Whatever you do get a receipt whether you paid cash or card. I have gone here numerous times and was very taken aback when I was accused that I went to another salon and came to them with an issue. Within a day my nails started popping off and all were gone except 2 within a week and 3 days. It is one thing to have an issue that needs to be resolved but quite another to be accused of something you did not do. I am very disappointed as this was my favorite nail salon along with my friends and coworkers. I received a 40% discount for something I had already paid for. I am not a dishonest person. I am certain they have cameras and would have been fine with them confirming when I was there. read more

There is no where to park. Have to park in bank area which is 40 yards away. Hard to walk in those spa flipflops that distance. Had an appointment and went on a raining afternoon during HIGH covid numbers. The place was PACKED. It was very odd with no parking places how there could of been approximately 35 people in such a small place in the middle of the week on a rainy day. The place was over full. No thanks. I'm new to the area/state. I only went here because of good reviews posted. This was the worst manicure, gel nail experience I have ever had! The man working on my hands, about 1/2 way through actually told me to continue drying my hands under the fan, and forgot about me. 20 min later, I'm sitting waiting for him to return. He had already started on someone else. I asked his coworker for help. The original man finally came back, but didn't remove any of the fingernail polish from my fingers. He blamed me for having shorter nails. The manager was no help when I left. Worst place ever, almost everyone working in the place ignored me. I'll never go back! Beware! read more

This was my first time going to this salon as I was visiting a friend in the area. My experience while being in the salon wasn't horrible but it's been 7 days since I got an acrylic manicure and I am already missing 6 of my nails. The ones that I do have left are already lifting. I can typically go 2-3 weeks before losing a single nail. Very disappointing!!! read more

My mom was raving on how awesome this place was so I decided to go. It was such a bad experience. My tech that did my toes was throwing things around and every time she came over she would make it a point to pull her phone out so she didn't have to acknowledge me. She did a terrible job on my toenails. Than I informed them I had acrylics that I wanted off and to have a dip French manicure. The same lady who was doing my nails decided not to soak them off but take a nail and pop them off. When I say she left me with multiple scars and at one point I pulled my hand back because she hurt me so bad and she just put her hand out and said give me your hand back. I was literally about to cry because she was treating me as trash. Even when my feet were done she just walked off not handing me any of the foam sandals and told me to go sit at the table and i had wore tennis shoes to the salon. When I asked for some she went and grabbed them and threw them at me. To the point my mom was even starting to look and wonder what was the problem. When I expressed i did not like her and want her. They switched me to another nail tech. While he was good and amazing I ended up with a full nail color on all nails with a design. I'm super disappointed. I really was excited because I had seen my moms nails and loved them. But beware, they are packed and busy. I won't be back but try at your own risk read more

Prices online do not reflect what is being charged. Went in for a $20 service as stated online. Was told that it changed to $28 after I'd had the service done. Basic gel manicure. The lady who checked out in front of us also mentioned about the same thing with different services Nail techs were rushed, had outdated colors, and did not shape nails well. read more

I have been using creative nails for years now. I tried other salons in the Lees Summit area and none compared to creative nail. I love how clean it is and how there is no turn over there in the employees. I can go in with a picture of what I want ,and the tech can usually always do the same exact thing or very close to it. The nail techs work hard and do great work! Thank you all for being so great!!!! The prices are very reasonable when you price them according to other salons. We jumped around to different salons before settling at Creative. Other salons would have different prices every time we went and high employee turn over rate. The techs weren't as friendly. Creative is by far the best in Lees Summit!! read more

This place gets crazy busy. I sat down in a pedicure chair at noon and they didn't start on me until around 1:15pm. Nice gesture to sit me down, however, no one wants to soak their feet for that long. And warm water gets cold... Overall, the services was fine. $29 for a gel manicure and $25 for a spa pedicure. Note, they charge extra for specific shapes when filing. Unfortunately, I don't think the setting time underneath the UV light was accurate as two of my nails chipped within just a few days. I also saw a coupon on their website that I asked if I could use and they said it was only on Monday-Wednesday - but no where on their website did it say that...so it was probably a language miscommunication; I could have fought it but honestly, after being in the salon for nearly three hours, that was the last thing I wanted to nitpick about. read more

1st time here was just OK. 2nd time gel mani was messed up a little on my thumbs, of course I didn't notice it until I was leaving town. Salon was dingy, plexiglass sheids at stations were dirty, at least one fly buzzing around. It was hard to relax with a nail tech sitting near me on the floor with a giant trash bag of towels she was folding, & my nail tech couldn't keep her mask up. Staff was pleasant and they were cleaning pedi chairs between clients, just not a great experienc overall for what I paid. Will not be returning. read more

Great place. Flew in from California to hang out with some family here and since most of them are girls, they decided to get a manicure and pedicure. Big whoop for me. Service was miraculous for my girlfriend and I. Weird for me to get a pedi and mani but it was actually really nice! This guy named Mike, He took care of me. Did a great and outstanding job. Service was fast, they kept me company by talking to me about my interests. Overall it was a good experience. It was just like having a conversation with a friend! BIG THUMBS UP!! read more

Terrible service for their prices! You ask for one thing and they continually try selling the highest price services they can! My pedicure was rushed & looked like a 3 year old did them! This is a great salon! It is clean, professional, and has a nice atmosphere. They seem to care about how your nails and toes look! The owner/manager (not sure) walks around and asks how people are doing which is pretty impressive. I just started doing Dipping Powder and they do this style of nail the best out of any nail salon. They even have a loyalty rewards program. My salon from now on!! read more

We moved to LS about a year ago. We've been looking for a pedicure place that compared to our place at home. Creative Nails came highly recommended so we were excited! We had an appointment and we were immediately seated. The pedicure was just okay. I pointed out a couple of really bad callouses that needed to be addressed. My technician scrubbed them A couple of times and said they're better, when in reality, now that I'm home, they are not any better. My feet are rough and I'm disappointed. The massage and hot rocks were great, but the smoothness of my feet is more important to me. I felt rushed and dismissed. Unfortunately, I am still in search of a great salon. read more

After reading all the reviews, I expected this place to be much better. The cuticle pusher and nippers that were used only on me were just taken out at the drawer, used and then put right back!! I didn't see anything being sanitized...Gross!! I tried explaining that I wanted gel nails done, not just shellac, and was told they couldn't do that. So I just got shellac. As I paid $29 for just a shellac I looked at their menu only to find that they do offer gel nails. The owner seemed very nice, I wish I would have had him instead of the guy that did mine. read more

I usually go to Summit nail spa but I received a gift card for creative so I came in and I am never going anywhere else again!!! The man who did my dip powder nails was very nice and paid amazing attention to detail. I asked for glitter ombre and showed him a picture and it looked better than I ever expected!! Afterwards I got a basic pedicure and it was very relaxing, even with just the basic pedicure it was relaxing and refreshing!! My new favorite nail place. They are very cramped in their small space, but extremely accommodating! Fair price, great service and AMAZING work!! read more

I walked in Creative Nail Salon after a long day of work. I travel to a different city every week and never have the same schedule. They were able to seat me immediately. They have a very large selection of OPI polishes! They also offer you whatever you want to drink. Daniel did both my pedicure and manicures. He was awesome! He paid attention to my ingrown toe nails and even took care of them the way they are supposed to be! I had been on my feet all day long and Daniel asked me if I wanted to try a special spa pedicure with Tea... He made them feel brand new! He also did my manicure, and although I was not able to do the spa manicure due to my arms being sensitive due to previous blood work, he still made it very relaxing and spa like! Dan is the man at Creative Nail Spa! I hope I get to come back to Lee's Summit soon! read more

I've been going here to get my nails/toes done for nearly a year and every single time, I am impressed. I've had several amazing techs (Emily, Kelly, Amy, Brandon, Michael, Nancy, Julie) and I couldn't possibly pick a favorite...they all do a fantastic job and I always leave with a smile on my face. The salon is clean, and you can tell the owner prides his work and workers on being the best. They are ALWAYS so busy, but I've never had to wait for service. I'm not sure how they do it, but somehow they always find a way to accommodate everyone that walks through the door. I will never go anywhere else. read more

The experience at the shop is very high end and she uses/sells great products, but she hasn't increased her prices so it's still very affordable. I book my appointments months in advance because she's always in high demand these days! I will never go anywhere else in the metro for my brows! She is extremely talented, always expanding her skill set as an esthetician, and totally "gets it" when it comes to brows and skin. I wish I had been going to Maria since my first brow wax as a teen 100 years ago. Pro tip: if your teenager wants a brow wax for the first time, DO NOT take them to just anyone. Go to Maria to make sure it is done right and doesn't mess up their brows for life! They'll thank you someday.

I had a very disappointing experience at this nail salon. I visited for a French manicure and pedicure, but when I woke up the next morning, the polish on both my nails and toes had turned yellow/brown. I returned to the salon that morning to address the issue. While I remained polite and calmly explained the situation, the owner immediately blamed me, claiming the discoloration occurred because I chose regular polish instead of gel. Her tone was dismissive, and she spoke in another language to her husband while refusing to redo the work unless I paid for a gel upgrade. I explained that I always get French manicures with regular polish and have never experienced this issue. She eventually agreed to redo the nails, but her attitude made it clear she believed the fault was mine. While I was drying my nails, another customer arrived with the same issue, but the treatment she received was starkly different. Despite having a dip French manicure, she was offered a free redo with gel and treated with much more courtesy. Unfortunately, I did not receive an apology or the same level of service. This experience left me feeling undervalued and unfairly treated. I will not be returning to this salon and cannot recommend it read more

Steven is the manager/owner and is very determined to keep the storefront up to date, clean and run efficiently. His technicians are quality workers who all speaks enough English to communicate and be understood. He also is particular about the quality of their work. The salon is clean, up to date and he has a vision of where to take it in the future. My nails are always done well and just the way I asked for. The employees are extremely personable and hard workers. Even on slack days, they are busy. Parking space is their main issue because they are usually extremely busy no matter the day or time. This is the most well run and clean nail salon I've ever been to. They are professional yet fun. I'd recommend them to anyone. They are all capable, but I'd like to recommend the following people: Kelly, Emily, Brandon, Michael, Mindy and Julie. I'm sure the others are good too, just haven't needed to use them. The one downside is that they are always so busy, with 12 technician stations, 12 pedicure chairs, an eyebrow cot, and a house full of customers, it can feel a bit claustrophobic. I got a manicure and a pedicure at this place and the manicure felt like the best one I have ever had. The pedicure was relaxing and the lady doing my nails was the sweetest girl I have ever seen and she was so gentle with my manicure to were I won't wan to go anywhere else in lees summit and the pedicure was much nicer that any other pedicure I have ever had in my life and it didn't hurt one bit and the nail painting was much better than any other salon I have ever been to and the price of the manicure and the pedicure put together was very reasonable for how good there manicures and pedicures are. Me and my mother went and my mothers cuticles were in very bad shape when we left her cuticles were better than they ever have been and the polish was a light gray color and they applied the color very well and the same color on her toes was so great. I have the same teal color on my fingernails and my toenails and I got flowers on my big toes and a different flower on my ring finger. SCAMMING KIDS OUT OF MONEY I recently visited THIS local nail salon with my preteen daughter. We were quoted a price of $23 for a fill-in and $5 for a bow design on each ring finger, totaling $28. However, upon completion of the services, we were presented with a bill of $56. The additional costs were attributed to "extras" such as cuticle cutting, nail shaping, and polish application. We were not informed of these extra charges beforehand. I was disappointed that the salon took advantage of my daughter, who was paying for her own services, and then shifted the blame onto her for supposedly choosing the additional services. I managed to negotiate a 10% discount, reducing the bill by $6. Nevertheless, I intend to report this incident to the Better Business Bureau (BBB) due to the salon's questionable business practices." read more

I love this place. Being a cosmetologist/barber the first things I look for is a clean and sterile environment. They are very clean super friendly and always tend to my high standards. They have some very talented nail techs and I've been coming here faithfully for the past 3 years. This is my spot and I love coming here to get a great pedicure or dipping powder manicure. "I am obsessed with my duck-shaped acrylic nails! The shape is so unique and fun, and they definitely make a bold statement. The tech did a great job keeping them even and smooth, and despite being wider at the tips, they feel really sturdy and comfortable to wear.
