Oh my gosh. The cutest tiny salon I've been to in Olathe. Ava was amazing. She had to clean up some work from her other employee (who was very sweet and tried hard but it just felt like she was timid and flew through a half done pedicure in about 12 mins); Ava just jumped right in and took over when I kindly requested some more cuticle work and filing be done. This is probably not the best place for a large group without an appointment as it has 4 manicure chairs and 3 pedicure chairs total. BUT if you have just a few people in your group this is the place to go. They were very accommodating. She allowed us to sit in the massage chairs talking for an extra 30 minutes after we paid while they kept working on other clients manicures. Overall, the polish looks great, the place is extremely clean, and I'm satisfied with my experience. I will definitely be returning with friends again! read more

Terrible...if I could give less than one star I would. I found a Groupon for a manicure and pedicure when I got there the two people were sitting around and told me I had to wait 15 minutes cause I didn't have an appointment. ALTHOUGH THERE WAS NO ONE THERE...then they proceeded to do my nails (not very well might o add very streaky) and made sure to inform be about 3 or 4 times that next time I come in I can't have a Groupon I have to pay full price. They were simply treating me like a freeloader when THEY ARE THE ONES WHO OUTT HE GROUPON UP FOR PEOPLE TO USE IN THE FIRST PLACE. I'd rather have my nails rotting than go there again and deal with their TERRIBLE customer service. read more

New to the area and started looking up reviews for this nail salon. I made an appointment with a Groupon - for a basic mani pedi - and yeah I had to wait 20 minutes while my feet soaked while they were finishing up other customers - wasn't a big deal....I got to use the massage chair in the meantime. Annie worked with me today and did a FANTASTIC job. She was super kind, worked hard, and put in the time for everything. My nails look fantastic. I've never left a nail salon and not immediately chipped or smudged my nails within an hour. These look amazing and I'm excited to see how long they last without chipping!! If I could rate this a NEGATIVE 10 I would. I went there twice and some guy did my nails. The were uneven, thick and I had 4 cuts on my cuticles. My nails were thick and uneven. IT was horrible and I had to pay $30 for this crap. Stay away from this place at all costs. They have no idea how to do a simple acrylic fill. Ugly thick and uneven nails. 3 days post my pedicure and I am still uncomfortable wearing closed toe shoes. the technician cut 3 nail extremely short and even now the tips are tender to touch. I have never experienced pain after a pedicure nor Have I ever had my toe nails cut to extremely short. I am now concerned over developing an infection in THREE toes. read more

I bought a Groupon coupon for $28 and gave it to my wife as a gift. She scheduled the appointment with Ava Nails. Half-way through the painting of her nails, the owner of AVA Nails insisted that my wife pay an additional $14 for the very same service that the Groupon coupon was supposed to cover. The customer service was terrible, and so was the application of the nail polishing. Within one-hour after my wife left the salon, the coloring was already chipping. What a waste of money and time! My wife will never return to this salon. My wife's experience was that the owner is unprofessional and unethical. read more

Don't get me wrong. Ava the owner is a sweet girl. But she talked about guys and her ex'a the entire time. I just sat there and nodded... I got a fill and a pedicure there. she did my fill in about 11 minutes. Very thick, lumpy, and unnatural. POORLY DONE. She absolutely rushed me even tho it was not closing time and I was the only one there...She charged me 110$ for a fill and basic pedicure. Neither of which I was at all happy with. I have no problem spending money on quality service. She completely takes advantage of new customers, this is not how you run a business I will absolutely not return. read more

After my visit I was happy with how my nails looked and how they were done. I like the staff and the environment there. However, the day after my visit, one of my nails chipped. I went over and got it fixed for free. Unfortunately, the day after, most of the other nails started to chip as well. I am used to having gel for about 2 weeks without any problems. I had my nails fixed there the other day, the girl did a phenomenal job of my nails, but when I asked everyone in the shop to please put their mask on, she would not. I am severely immune compromised, and she put my health and life at risk. I wish I would've said something to her directly. I now regret that. If she had a medical exception and does not have to wear a mask, she should've shared this with me so I felt safe. I will never ever return again to this shop due to this experience. I was in complete shock when everyone else put on their mask, and she wouldn't. It's people like that who are spreading the COVID-19 virus and not even knowing it. Something like close to 30 to 40% of people going to have it and not have any symptoms. read more

Don't bother buying a Groupon. Every time I tried to book they wouldn't take it after 4. Called again and now they don't take it on the weekends. I mentioned the restrictions weren't listed on Groupon. She said it says to mention group when booking appointment so they can tell you the restrictions. read more

We went in and waited 20 minutes while the owner did her own nails. I complained about the owner so she knew exactly who we were. My 6 year old daughter left her library book on the table. i call & let the owner we left it, it was a library book & we were coming back in to get it. She said there was no book on the coffee table. My daughter went back in and there it was right where she left it on the coffee table. Tit for tat I guess? This place has two reviews the other with 2 stars and 48 review. From the time I sat in the chair to have my toes done it was literally 25 mins. I felt like they rushed. My heels are still rough and cracky. Then I was literally rushed out of the chair even though no one waiting. There was a couple there apparently repeat customers. She offered them coffee or water and no one asked if I wanted anything. then when it was time to pay she asked if I wanted to add a tip and I was like yes $3 and she goes we can't take anything less than five I'm like what that seems kind of wrong. I had a Groupon and when I walked in, I was excited. It's a little salon, but the gel manicure I had was good. When I was getting ready to leave, after my complete manicure was done and I told them I had a Groupon, they charged me $10 to take off my polish. Seriously?? I know spent the exact same for a gel manicure that I would have paid for anywhere else. SO disappointing and I had intended to go back until that happened.
