They were friendly, patient, and perfectionists. They were flexible about working us in. They did a great job on everyone in our party. The girls had pretty detailed inspo photos. I couldn't have asked for better service. Their nails lasted well too, at least 3 weeks on the girls through martial arts practices, gymnastics, and viola. I walked in during my lunch to check the place out. I liked what I saw so made an appointment for after work today. When I got there they assigned Juan to me and I am glad they did. He was patient and ended up helping me with picking out multiple colors. He was friendly, detailed and even with me getting a new set I was in and out in just over an hour. Came in Saturday for a pedi and the service was rushed. after was not hot enough at first (no biggie easy fix). I barely got my feet soaked. my feet were scrubbed before they were soaked. lotion was applied before the rinse. the massage was quick and it all felt rushed. i wish I didn't let the tip I did. Since people tend to call me "princess," (lol) I thought I'd try it. Tom, a super quiet guy, was able to fit me in right away and he did such a great job! The chairs are older and don't work the best so if you are looking for a decent massage during the pedicure, this may not be your place. End result is still a quality pedicure! read more

I don't enjoy writing negative reviews, but I won't visit this salon again and I think that's worth telling others about. I recently moved to Overland Park and have been looking for a nail salon. Princess Nail got good reviews, so I tried it out. I was very disappointed. I asked for a gel manicure. My hands were soaked in warm, soapy water for maybe two minutes tops. The nail tech did trim and file my nails and trim my cuticles, however he rushed through it and did a sloppy job. After painting my nails (extremely quickly), he squirted some lotion in my hands and told me to rub it in. The whole experience took less than 25 minutes. As soon as I got home, I painted over my gel. I understand that different salons offer different services, but what I received was not worth the $30 that I spent. If I ask for a manicure, I expect someone to take their time with both the manicure and the polish. read more

This is the best nail salon! It's clean, they get you in promptly and the technicians do an excellent job!

I have gone to this location many times with no issues. However, I went in recently to get a new set. They popped off the old set, which everyone knows hurts and can be harmful. When they did this in the past I had no issues. As he pops them off, he catches my skin and nail bed, creating a rip in my real nail and it begins to bleed. He says nothing to me, cleans with alcohol and applies glue over it and proceeds with the new set. I didn't say anything because I was shocked and wanted to just get it over with. I should've said something. My real nail is still cracked and the blood underneath is so dark it looks nearly black. I haven't yet removed the acrylic as I'm caution to do so. I'd be less upset if I was told sorry or some sort of communication or empathy. I will unfortunately not return here. read more

I've tried over 20 nail salons in this area until I found Nail Time on 119th. I now always go to Nail Time or Natural Nail. My kids were at Kumon tutoring next door and I decided to give this place a try. The guy was so rude and grunted every time he wanted me to put my hands under the LED lamp. I've been getting gel manicures for years and this was the worst job I have ever seen. The guy had nail polish all over my skin and left spots and streaks all over. I didn't think it could get any worse when he squirted lotion on my hands and told me to rub it myself. I was shocked and just wanted to get the hell out of there. I drove to Sally's to get some nail polish to cover but it wasn't even smooth. The next day, the gel started peeling off so I went to my normal nail salon to get it removed. Don't waste your time or money. I think this guy was the owner or manager because he was answering the phones. AWFUL experience. read more

I wish I could give zero stars. My dip manicure lasted 24 hours before it was chipped on 4 nails. My friend went with me and the same thing happened to her and hers were a different color so I know it wasn't the powder. What a waste of $35! Extremely disappointed. Since moving to the area I've tried a few places for pedicures and this is my favorite so far. Don't expect a spa pampering because it's just your average little nail place. $25+ depending on the pedi you choose, which is average and fair. New to the pedicures, but put in an appointment time for 3 of us the morning of. Well, we got there and no appointment and all chairs were full. I was a little disappointed being that we had dinner reservations after, but we are a pretty patient group. Spa pedi is 25 which is pretty mainstream. They were not welcoming or friendly or for that matter apologetic for making us wait 30 minutes when we made a reservation. I wont go back there again, but it wasnt a horrible experience.... except the Disney channel playing on all tvs with no kids in the place... not relaxing at all. My girlfriend and I visited this location a couple days ago, and I would have to say that I was appalled as to how I was treated. I am a 6'3 300 pound Africa American male one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet and I live in the area. This is the first time I had ever faced blatant disrespect to my face at any business due to my perceived skin color. When we first arrived there were about 2-3 people being serviced, more specifically there was one woman giving a pedicure to a little girl, this is the lady that gave me the issues. At first glance everything seemed okay but I noticed that the lady that worked there was starring at me with a displeased look on her face. A very nice gentleman asked what we were having. I stated that I was getting a manicure and that my girlfriend was to get a pedicure. As the gentleman began to set the station up for me he stated that the lady would be servicing me for my manicure once she was done with the little girls pedicure. Out of nowhere the lady shouted "no I'm not" as she said that I was shocked and speechless, the guy then said that she was busy (as if I didn't hear the displeasing tone of the lady initially). So at first I advised him that I would not be receiving services just my girlfriend, and then I thought about it and decided that I would not have my girlfriend be serviced either, and we left. I'm not saying that this is a non friendly establishment for African Americans but the experience that I had that day will forever be with me as this was the first time I felt like I wasn't the right gender or skin color to be treated fairly. This is not okay in my books. I will never visit nor support any business that has an issue with servicing everyone. I really hope someone reads this review and does not visit this location. We have to make a stand for unfair treatment, and let anyone who is servicing the public know that we as human beings will not support unfair treatment to any race, gender, or sexual orientation by any business. read more
