Nikki did a great job with a dip manicure. I had acrylics on for 1 round because I'm trying to break the habit of picking my nails. I figured I'd do a few months of acrylics, but she suggested I do dip- less harsh on nails and still prevents picking. (Also $5 more, but I'm ok with that since acrylic is awful to your real nail). I have gone to Bella Nails multiple times this last two times have been terrible experiences. 1. I got a Dip manicure from the owner Becky. Dip powder manicures usually last a month or longer on my nails. Her manicure didn't last a week before two of them broke. My dip powder had cracks in it on multiple nails. I will post pictures. I will never get Dip there again. 2. I made pedicure appointments for my husband and I on a Saturday before we left for vacation. I booked online a month in advance. When we got there she was very rude and said I can't book it how I did bc the appointments were not at the same time her system booked it an hour apart from each other. She was very unprofessional about it and rude. Why could she not see her system booked a pedicure right after another pedicure for the same person?? Sounds like a system isn't instead of a customer issue. She said she will mark this as a last minute cancelation and if this happens anymore I won't be able to book appointments there again... I was on time for my appointment, but still had to wait. While sunny was doing my pedicure she only scraped across my heels with the pumice stone two times. When I ask her to please do it correctly, she responded with, " how long is it been since you had a pedicure done?" I responded, "I get a pedicure done every month and I have done that for 40 years." To which she responded, "You only paid for the basic pedicure, if you wanted more done than you need to pay for a more expensive pedicure." I was already being charged $31. And that was the most I've ever paid for a pedicure in my life except for when I've been at luxury resorts. After that interaction she began speaking in Vietnamese to the person next to her who is also doing a pedicure on someone else. They were laughing and chattering but I didn't think much about it until I had a phone call from a Spanish-speaking friend and I started speaking in Spanish to my friend who only speaks Spanish. She became visibly irritated. Having spent 25 minutes doing a "full basic pedicure", it was then time to do my refill on my hands. She took the polish off of my nails in order to do an acrylic refill on my hands and brought the owner over to her station. The owner then told me that my nails were in terrible shape, lifting and bubbles and that she didn't want to be responsible since I was not a regular customer. What they wanted to do was take off all of my nails and put on all new nails rather than just doing a refill, an up-sale just like she tried to do with the pedicure. They took my nail polish off and then refused to refill my nails. I left the salon after paying the $31 for the non-pedicure. I had to ask for a receipt, probably because I paid cash. I would never recommend them under any circumstances even though they were recommended to me. I will never use them again. I do not live in the area and was in need of a refill. I ask for a reference or I would never have not known about them. This is the first review I have ever done on Yelp. I had to do something! What a waste of time and money. I don't even own a bottle of nail polish because I have had my manicures done at salons for so long. So now I have to try to find someone to do my nails on a Saturday without an appointment. read more

The nail techs do a good job, but management is insanely rude to the techs. I've gone here several times and each time I've witnessed management yelling at a tech. Literally ab to be in tears. Paid 108.00 for a manicure that looks like a kid could have done it. My cuticles are flooded, my skin has red gel stuck on it, gel isn't even evenly painted throughout each nail, and some of the nails have awkward gaps from my cuticle. I have been a longtime customer of Bella Nails and have visited the shop a few times recently that made me want to update my review. I feel very safe in this salon and have constantly seen the nail techs clean and keep the salon sanitized. Also, I am never ceased to be amazed by the level of service given here. The nail techs are kind, meticulous, and helpful. Lynn and Jamie do an incredible job and I'm always left with a gel manicure that lasts up to a month without any chips. This salon books up fast so definitely make an appointment. read more

I hate to give a bad review, but there are too many red flags to ignore here. Multiple issues I've looked past, but today there was too many. I made my appointment weeks ago & didn't get sat for 25 minutes past appointment time. I never understood why they're so concerned with customers using their phones - there are signs everywhere stating you can't use them; I totally understand how they could impede a stylist working but I was asked not to use my phone while I was getting a pedicure? In case it fell in the water. Just weird. As a working mom I usually enjoy browsing social media or answering a work email.... anyways. I don't think a nail tech should be pushing a customers cuticles back with their own fingernails. It was a rough service and on top of it, they couldn't find the color I requested (nothing crazy, a light blue) but that's fine. My issue with color is that I asked for chrome and my tech said it would be more expensive. I said yes I know, but she didn't have time to do chrome. Overall not a good experience for an incredibly expensive bill and per usual, I expect this polish to last MAYBE 2 weeks. I'll go elsewhere. 1 star for effort and 1 star for online booking but that's not a perk when everything else is a negative. read more

The male owner actually had the nerve to say they have no way of knowing if it was their fault so won't redo free of charge. This is my neighborhood nail place. They do a decent job and get you in and out quickly. But he just raised his prices. A gel manicure is now $45 with and extra $3 for Covid cleaning service!?!? The Covid cleaning is a joke as he is doing nothing different, and we are 3 years out, you can't keep claiming Covid, and $45 for a standard gel manicure is ridiculous. My Mom has been bringing my sister and I to get our nails done here for years. It's always been a fairly reliable place, but today I went in to find out they somehow "lost" the appointment that my mom made at the same time she made ours (which was weeks in advance, since they have never been able to take walk ins when we asked). They said they had no openings and there was no way she could get her nails done today. To make matters worse when my mom told them they made a mistake they yelled at her in front of all the other patrons and left her crying sitting in the front of the salon. Of course, she normally would have just made an appointment for another day but we leave for a trip tomorrow morning and she was really looking forward to getting her nails done for it. You would think that for the years we've been loyal to this place and the thousands of dollars we've spent here they'd treat us better than this. read more

First I would like to state that I don't write bad reviews unless absolutely necessary, and in this case it is necessary. I went to this disappointing nail salon based on the recommendation of a friend, whose nails I thought looked superb. Booking online was easy enough, but I have learned my lesson about not having a preference on the nail tech. I got a pedicure which was not worth what I paid. My feet looked awful the following day with skin flaking off as if I hadn't just had a pedicure done (I ended up having to fix this at home). I got a full acrylic set done as well. The FIRST time I got it done there were big blobs of acrylic at the end of a few of my nails, both the nails on my index fingers (and if I'm being honest several other fingers) weren't completely attached, and the acrylic that was done on the rest of the nails was super thick making my finger nails look like they were swollen. The only redeeming quality of this place is that when I called to voice my concerns on my nails they offered I come in to have it fixed for free by a different nail tech, to which I obliged (even though it's super out of the way to drive back to for me). She did a good job fixing the mess that was made, however...... instead of replacing all the nails that were so poorly done she just filed them down, evened them out and re-painted them without having me wash off the "dust" from filing them.......... Those nails then only last a week... I will not be returning to this salon ever ever ever due to the poor quality, rushed feeling, and damage inducing service (my nails and cuticles were horrendously damaged) they provided. Also just to note, this is not the first time I have had my nails done in this manner - I do know what good quality acrylic nails should look and feel like. I wish I had taken photos but unfortunately I did not even think about it. read more

The lady that does lashes takes 2 long hours to do them. On top of the long 2 hours she puts tape on your forehead to hold back skin or I dont know for what reason but it hurts. I go somewhere else now no pain and done in less than an hour. read more

I went in on Sunday with my cousin. We got there around noon and had to make an apt for 3:15 so we could do our pedicures together, ok fine. We went and blew a few hours and came back around 2:45 planning on just waiting til our apt. They said they could get us in right then so we picked out colors. I chose my gel color and they were like oh we don't have time for gel. They said since it takes 20 minutes more they didn't have time. (Um they got me in 30 minutes early to my apt so I am not sure why that mattered ) I have never had to specify that before at ANY other salon. I am 9 months pregnant and just wanted my toes done before my little guy gets here. They refused to do the gel even though that's what I wanted. I never do regular polish bc it doesn't last a week. They said, "Ours lasts longer than that." Hmmm that's funny bc by Wednesday it was already chipping. I will NEVER go back to this hole. read more

And he hardly listened to what I was saying (or maybe didn't understand) and got the colors wrong. I should have said something right away but I had never gotten them done before. When I went back and complained a couple days later they still made me pay 20 dollars to get them fixed and the color changed. They looked good after that. This Nail Salon is so unprofessional it's unbelievable. Ok so I moved over to Olathe from Raymore, MO recently and I needed to find a new nail salon quick so I seen this place and stopped made an appointment. Now I went to Kelsey who I was paying for a dipping powder full set with tips and spa pedicure so I am spending $100 the two times I was there and tipping her $20 both times even when her services were just ok...Well I had an appointment yesterday at 4...I got there on time but they had me waiting around 15 minutes while Kelsey was servicing someone else and then they finally told me to sit down in the massage chair and put my feet in cold water with the jets not running....so I tried to get her attention because she was obviously still assisting another client she finally came over and I ask her to please add hot water and turn on the jets. She turn around and said I will be right back didn't come back for another 5 minutes and said I have to wait on her to put the chip in to add the water and turn the jets on. So mind you I have been still sitting there at this point for 25 minutes and I have a scheduled appointment. Instead of apologizing she was like so do you want me to service you or have someone else do it and then started speaking Chinese to another worker about me...At that point I was like...you ain't said nothing but a word and left....I was telling my new neighbor and she referred me to her nail lady at Essnails she said I will be happy with their services for sure...so I will try Essnails in Olathe hopefully my new journey won't turn out to be a nightmare like this one....smh read more

Went in for a pedicure with my mom. We were both pleased with the experience. We had an appointment and were seated right away. Our techs were both friendly and did great work. The calf and foot massages were wonderful. They could definitely find a more effective way to display their huge assortment of polishes, but overall it was great and we'd go back for other services in the future. read more

I went here with my friends and it was all fun until it was time to get seated. The lady, Lana, she didn't say much to us. My friend asked if she could wash her hands after she got her nails done. She wanted to wash off the acrylic and lana said "no i don't have time to fix it again". That was really rude. When she did my nails, she wasn't gentle at all. She cut the sides of my finger and didn't bother to ask if everything was fine if i twitched away. When it came time to dry my nails she would pull my hands to dry, like she was in a crush to leave. My usual nail technician is very busy and my schedule is not always such that I can book appointments in advance, so sometimes when I call she does not have an appointment for nails and toes. I say this because I have had several different technicians do my pedicure and they all have been wonderful. I would and have referred friends and family here and will continue to do so. I received a sub par pedicure after years of receiving great ones. When I brought up the concern to the OWNER in a kind way, she informed me that I "shouldve said something sooner" in a totally rude and dismissive tone, with a nasty look on her face. I called the salon about an hour later to discuss the situation, I was told she wasnt able to speak at the moment, and she would give me a call back, but I never received one. Sure I shouldve said something to the nail tech when she was massaging my leg with one hand or when barely did anything to take off my calluses, but I guess Im an optimist that was hoping it would get better, or I was just in shock at the lack of effort I was witnessing. Maybe she was having a bad day and distracted, I dont know. What I do know is that as an owner of a business that is not how you should treat a customer that has been giving you business since you opened. The first time I went in, I had an appointment made at 6:00, they didn't take me until 6:40, it took the nail tech two hours to do my full set, which was uneven and looked horrible. I swore I would never go back, yesterday I gave them another chance and I was disappointed just as much. Again made an appointment at 6:00 was not sat till 6:15. The nail tech was working on my full set and some other lady's pedicure at the same time. Again, my appointment took over 2 hours, I did not leave until 8:30. It was the same tech as last time, I was not impressed. This salon is overpriced and rude. They are not about customer service. I will not be back. ZERO STARS! My daughter and I got gel manicures two months ago there. We both started having trouble with the gel peeling off within a week to ten days. I called and was told "it happens" and to come in and they will redo them, but when I returned to town the owner said she would NOT redo our nails. It's two months later and my nails are still ruined from them. They are so weak I have to keep them very short. If a nail tech is too lazy or impatient to wait a few minutes to soak off your polish and instead pulls out a Dremmel to mechanically file down your nails, RUN. It was bad enough to have such terrible work done there but then for the owner to be so rude. Terrible service, terrible. I feel like the five star review must be faked to boost their numbers. I had always enjoyed Bella Nails until my last visit. My technician ( I WISH I knew her name) was very unfriendly. When I got home I noticed my foot was hurting. After a few hours of the pain getting worse, I realized that she had literally SHAVED the skin off the bottom side of my foot. It eventually scabbed over with a 2 inch long scab and was sore for 2 months! It hurt every time I walked. I felt that she was very careless, besides being very unfriendly. TERRIBLE customer service! I called a week in advance to make appointments. The girl I spoke to wasn't thorough to begin with. I asked for 2 appts at 11:30am and she took my name and number, then said 10:30 and I said no and repeated 11:30. I had to ask if she wanted to know what services I wanted. She gave me a bit of attitude and listened, but couldn't get me off the phone fast enough. We showed up at 11:25 for our appointments (I was in from out of town and my niece was getting nails done for her engagement photos that weekend). I gave my name and appointment time. The gal at the front desk knew who I was and said they had me down for 11:00 and tried to call, but no one answered. Mind you, I had my phone with me and could verify that there were no missed calls. I explained that when I made the appt, the girl was not paying attention, but my appointment was for 11:30. So sorry she says, the best they can do is get us in at 2:30. ZERO attempt at making it right. That time would not work due to our schedules so I asked if there was another salon nearby. The gal shrugged at me and said "You can Google it." I get not wanting to recommend a competitor, but when YOU have screwed up, the least you can do is help the customer out. Luckily, we found Lavish Nails not far and they were willing to squeeze us in (highly recommend them...they aren't far and were very friendly and did a good job). I can't speak to the quality of work that Bella offers, but if their nail work is as shoddy as their customer service, I recommend steering clear. read more
