The experience at the shop is very high end and she uses/sells great products, but she hasn't increased her prices so it's still very affordable. I book my appointments months in advance because she's always in high demand these days! I will never go anywhere else in the metro for my brows! She is extremely talented, always expanding her skill set as an esthetician, and totally "gets it" when it comes to brows and skin. I wish I had been going to Maria since my first brow wax as a teen 100 years ago. Pro tip: if your teenager wants a brow wax for the first time, DO NOT take them to just anyone. When I reached out to confirm and clarify what happened, the provider acknowledged she forgot to book me, but then canceled my future appointments and said she was no longer comfortable doing advanced treatments on me. I understand mistakes happen, but I found the communication and handling of the situation unprofessional. I was simply trying to clarify an appointment time that had already been confirmed, and instead of the scheduling mistake being handled clearly, I was made to feel like I was the issue. Because of that experience, I would not feel comfortable continuing services here and would not feel comfortable recommending her.

The salon is located in a really cool building in KC with a super chill vibe. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed. they offered water, coffee, or tea right away, which was such a nice touch. Carrie did an amazing job! I'm so happy with my haircut and highlights. She really listened to what I wanted and delivered beautiful results. I'll definitely be back if I'm ever back in town.
