Honestly, I'm very surprised by all these negative reviews so I wanted to make sure I left a review today. I have been here atleast 10 times and every single time, no matter who I go to, they ALWAYS do a great job. I feel like the nail technician's actually care and I'm always happy when I leave. My favorite for pedicures is Toaster!!! He does an amazing job. I got my finger nails done today by Lisa, and she did such a good job too. I do dip powder. I'm also not super picky about my nails and usually just go with what ever color. I mainly care about the shape. Lisa was very gentle and took her time. I really appreciated that. I would highly recommend coming here!!

    absolutely disgraceful!

I have been going here for at least 8-10 years and the this visit was horrible. I had not been getting my nails done for almost a year because I was not working. So I decided to get a mani, pedi and my eyebrows trimmed. The guy that helped me has been there for many years, probably from the beginning. I told him that I wanted just a basic pedicure. He did a good job initially. He even did a sugar scrub on my legs and feet.... which I thought was more than basic, however, he did very well, until the end. I noticed my heel was not touched and showed it to him. He flipped his had at me and said "well thats because you said that you only wanted the basic and thats alot for basic! I let him know that "I usually get good customer service here." He then told me to meet him at the front for my manicure. He didn't assist me with my things... nothing. I slid a little and almost fell, messing up my big toe. I just grabbed the polish, went to the front and fixed it myself, knowing that he wouldn't. I did not sit at the chair and he told me to move into the chair. I told him that I was not going to get a manicure, just charge me for pedicure. There was no way I would let him give me a horrible manicure in addition to my horrible pedicure. The pics show my feet after he was complete.

The samples are old and faded and do not match the dip color that you receive. My cuticles were not trimmed well and the nail shape was uneven. I could have done a better job at home. Overall, just a poor quality manicure.

This is what my nails typically look like for reference

I hate being this person... but I would hate for someone else to have the experience I did. I went in for a pedicure, the service providers were nice and friendly. The space looked clean, but the lighting wasn't good. I can understand how it would be hard to do your job if you can't see. However, my biggest issue was the quality of work. Before I came in I had already shaped my nails so they were pretty short to begin with. The individual doing my service didn't say a word, sat down and started cutting away. Never asked me what I wanted. My nails were clipped so short it was painful. They cut the edges so my nail was then shaped to a point and then rounded the top. Anyone who knows anything about nails knows toenails should be square shaped for a number of reasons. The polish was also pretty messy and not applied all the way down to the cuticle. I should have said something way sooner and I will definitely do so in the future. My advice to anyone going here would be to definitely speak up. Don't let them shape or file your nails before telling them what you want. Paying for a service just to redo it yourself isn't fun.

Decent nail salon well-situated in the outdoor mall. Staff ensured that guests were wearing masks. I got a gel manicure, my sister got a full set of acrylics and my mom got a pedicure. I showed the manicurist a photo of what I wanted and she did a great job matching the photo.

When I first can in here I was nervous to get my nails done because I had no idea if they would be able to do this difficult design. But it turned out really amazing.

I hardly ever leave reviews, but this place is worth it. I have been completely overwhelmed lately. My last year of ministry school, my first year as a teacher, and meeting my boyfriend's momma soon. I had gotten my nails done somewhere else and hated the color. I had no idea what color to do my nails this time and the sweet lady at the front desk was patient with me and helped me pick out a color. The whole thing was a very pleasant and relaxing experience. My nails look AMAZING and I couldn't be happier. I'll be coming back here!

The worst nails I've ever had

My daughter-in -law said that she had a good experience , so I gave it a try! I made an appointment and wanted to get the dip powder. I picked a design from their sample designs. An older guy did my nails , not like the design. My nails look fabulous for a five year old. I called them because I couldn't stand my nails anymore, so I called before they closed and they said I could come back the next day. Someone else did my nails and basically she did redo them she sanded them down and did them back the same way ,plus they are really , really thick looking.

The coat on my index finger peeled halfway off 5 days after the gel manicure. I did pull what was hanging off to prevent snags.

I would give 0 stars if I could. My usual nail tech was on vacation, so I came to this salon. I asked for a gel mani and pedi. I told them I already had a gel mani, and it would have to be removed. The tech preceded to do the pedi. She did not soak of my old gel, even after I reminded her about it. She just nodded. I didn't say anything again because I figured she had her own routine. Once the pedi was done. I was taken to the manicure by another tech. That tech told me, I should have told the previous tech to soak off the gel and now my service would be longer. I explained that the other tech was told about my gel, and she didn't remove it. She didn't say anything and asked me to soak off the gel in a bowl of acetone. I politely declined because that really dries out my cuticles. I asked for the foil wrap, and told her I was ok waiting. She started wrapping with the foil without buffing off the shiny gel top coat. I knew it would take longer to soak off if not removed. She tried to keep wrapping without buffing until I told her that she needed to buff the gel off like I asked. She sloppily buffed off the top coat and put on the foil wrap. She then had another tech remove the gel and start the service. The new tech was nice, but I did not like the others attitudes. Of course, 5 days after getting this gel manicure, it's already peeling. I've never had a gel mani peel before 2 weeks. Next time, I'll wait for my usual tech. Save your time, and go elsewhere

Staff is rude and arrogant. When speaking of their clients negatively, speaks another language. I will spend my money elsewhere.

If I could give 0 stars, I would…read more I've been coming to Bloom for years and, while I've had minor issues in the past, this last experience was my final straw. About a month ago, I came in for a pedicure and noticed that one of my toenails looked damaged. I pointed it out to the technician, who assured me it was fine and that they could still complete the pedicure. I even asked another pedicurist nearby for a second opinion, and she agreed. Since they were the professionals, I trusted their judgment. Less than a week later, my big toenail completely came off--the same day I was standing in a beach wedding. I immediately scheduled an appointment to come back in. Within 24 hours of that nail coming off, my other big toenail also detached and had a pocket of pus underneath. At that point, I called a podiatrist and was seen right away. During my appointment, she removed a significant amount of dead skin from the nail bed and explained that it appeared to have been repeatedly pushed underneath the nail during pedicures over at least the past year. She also expressed concern that non-sterile instruments may have contributed to the infection beneath my nail. I returned to Bloom on May 27 to have the gel polish removed from my remaining toes, my full-set pedicure removed, and a clear-coat manicure applied. From the moment I arrived, I was treated poorly. The technician who initially assisted me told me I couldn't have order a drink, because I wasn't a "real customer" since I wasn't receiving a "real service." When I disagreed, her attitude noticeably changed. She spent the remainder of my appointment ignoring me, talking about me to other employees, and even calling coworkers over to look at and laugh about my damaged nail beds. She was also rough while working on me, repeatedly grabbing my injured toes after I explained what had happened, told her it was painful, and asked her to stop. After my toes were finished, I moved to another station for my manicure. During that appointment, a male employee seated one bench away spent the entire time blowing kisses at me, winking, and whistling in my direction. I was so uncomfortable that I looked directly at the security camera at approximately 3:39 p.m. in an attempt to signal that something was wrong. When I brought my concerns to someone at the front desk, I was essentially told that their service was good. I later called again to report the inappropriate behavior and was told that their employees "wouldn't behave like that." I am disgusted and deeply disappointed by how this situation was handled. My medical concerns were dismissed, my pain was ignored, and I was made to feel humiliated and uncomfortable while seeking help after a serious complication. I have never felt so disrespected as a customer. I strongly do not recommend Bloom. After years of loyalty, I will never be returning.
