This is a great option for dining but it is not technically in the parks. It's in the Pixar Hotel so it is a walk so I would recommend for breakfast or dinner for before or after park entry. We ordered so much. We had the Shrimp & Avocado Stack with cooked and chilled clamato-marinated shrimp, citrus mashed avocado, jalapeño, tomato, market vegetables, tortilla chips. Very good. Then Portobello Mushroom Fries with parmesan, red pepper flakes, basil pesto aioli and some sort of avocado dip. DELICIOUS. We ordered it every visit now. We have had their salads and their avocado toast, all good. Service is random depending on how busy they are. This restaurant is full of liars. I called and they told me if I showed up at 5:00 there was a wait list I could join. I was there at 4:20, and waited till 5:00. At which point I was told by someone who did not wear a name tag but told me she was a manager "Amy", that they do not have wait lists and to pretty much fuck off. After telling me and making me wait over 40 minutes. They lied to me. had they just been honest I would have just gone else where and there would be no problem. One of the times, she went to a table that sat way after us first. Then when you do get to order, you wait a long time for anything to show up. I'm TRYING to give you my husband's money. I try to be very patient especially to those in the restaurant industry. Is the portobello mushroom good enough for me to come back for the ehh service? On top of that, it's not cheap. Third times a charm? Nope. Against my better judgement, we had friends in town who really wanted to go after visiting the San Diego location the last time they were in town. We arrived for a late reservation via the Disneyland app (~8:30 PM) and again had atrocious service and mediocre at best food. After being sat, we waited fifteen minutes before anyone came to our table. The restaurant was empty. Our food again came out barely warm and the monthly pineapple upside-down doughnut was simply awful. The pineapple on top was dry and crusty and the doughnut was hard. How can you be serving food like this at these prices? I simply don't get it. I appreciate managements response to my previous reviews but I don't want any special treatment for coming back, that doesn't solve the overall issue. Fix the speed of service and send out hot and fresh food to every table every time, it really is as simple as that if you want to survive at this location. read more

Came here to have brunch with my college friends and there was a good variety. We got the bacon egg scramble and the chilaquiles. We also got the seasonal pomegranate donuts which came out fresh and very hot. They were very good! We also got the Brew Bears in French Toast and Mexican Mocha. We also talked a long time because we only see each other once a year and we never felt rushed. We didn't have a problem getting a reservation here and we came the week after Christmas. Fortunately the food is good and better than what you might think. We reserved at the Great Maple during a busy Saturday lunch/dinner and still had a wait time, of 30 minutes, even if we arrived at the hour we were assigned. So that was a little disappointing.. Overall, it's a nice place to eat if you aren't sure what else to eat at Disneyland --and still want something nicer than a corndog. The food here is good! I wouldn't write home about it but it's nicely prepared and tasty. Tip your hard working waiter/tress if it's a super busy day. They were so tired looking. Mother's Day Brunch! The parking was easy as the structure was located right behind the hotel and they offer 3 hour complimentary parking. We arrived for 10:15 am reservations, however, were not seated until 10:30 as it was a busy holiday. For appetizers, it was my first time trying portobello mushroom fries which were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Main dishes selected included buttermilk pancakes, fried chicken & doughnuts, chilaquiles, and ribeye melt. I really enjoyed the presentation of the chicken & doughnuts but even more so loved the ribeye melt! The staff was right on point considering how busy it was. In the middle of watching our niece at a dance competition at the DLand Hotel, we took a break for dinner at Great Maple in the Pixar Hotel. The place was packed on a Saturday night, but we had 8 pm Open Table reservations. Got there at 7:15 pm, the hostess checked us in and politely told us that due to demand, we would be seated close to the reservation time and be texted when they were ready for us. We appreciated her honesty and went to explore the hotel. Got a text at 8 and were seated. Very convenient and efficient. We ordered and received our food quickly but every time our server checked on us, we felt a definite spiel for an upsell, "is everything to your liking, how about trying....." It got "old" after saying "no thank you" more than a half dozen times. We will not be returning unless someone else is paying lol. read more

Super adorable restaurant located in the gorgeous Pixar Hotel close to Disneyland! We went here for a holiday brunch with my coworkers (my first time) and it's definitely a cute spot with mostly good food, though surprisingly for Disney, the service left something to be desired. Food: I got the Ribeye melt which comes with a side of fries. This was really tasty and actually a great portion size so it became two meals for me. I loved the fries, nice and crispy and well salted. I also ordered a Lavender lemonade which did not taste very lavender-y or any different from a regular lemonade. At the end of our meal, we ordered the beignets and donuts to share. The beignets, while tasty, were really not beignets but rather beignet shaped donuts. It didn't have the airy-ness you would expect from beignets and were definitely just the doughnut batter fried up to look like beignets. Way too dense. The doughnuts with the lemon curd were my favorite, not a fan of the maple bacon one. Service: We came here in the morning on a weekday and had made a reservation and were seated promptly. It wasn't very busy as it was a weekday. The server we got was SUPER stand off-ish, GENUINELY I was surprised as I am really used to Disney staff being super friendly. The restaurant itself isn't too large and has somewhat low ceilings giving it a smaller feel. Our server Raul was very friendly and nice. As for the food, we ordered the grilled chicken bowl which came with half an avocado, brussel sprouts, onions, mushrooms and it was a little pricy at $30 for what you get. I was so happy to see that there was a vegan option for breakfast because when I looked online I only saw vegan options for lunch/dinner. It was a 8/10 breakfast for me! It feels like you're inside of a restaurant and a back yard all at the same time. The fresh flowers, unique lights and green plants all around you give such a magical touch. Of course, the food is the highlight of this place. By the server's recommendation, I ordered lavender lemonade to start with. The aroma of the lavender spreads gently when you take a sip of the lemonade, which was very pleasant. For the entree, I ordered chicken and maple bacon donuts, butter pancakes and ribeye sandwich since they were the signature dishes and they all were a home run. Especially, I loved the idea that they had their famous maple bacon donuts instead of waffles with the chicken. We have been to this location a few times, and their service is consistently horrible. We keep giving them the benefit of the doubt, hoping it will improve, but I think this might be our last visit. It should not take 3 hours to turn a meal with 2 adults and a child. Came to Great Maple for dinner on a Wednesday night because a friend gave us a gift card. The restaurant was fairly busy, so we waited around 30 minutes. We told the hostess that we were a party of 3, 2 adults and a toddler who would need a high chair. When we were seated, it was at a booth in the middle of the restaurant with no high chair. We waited about 10 minutes before the manager (not waiter) came over to take our drink order, this is when we asked for a booster seat (which he did bring, so that was nice). Our drinks arrived about 20 minutes after we sat down (no water, only alcohol), but our actual waiter had not been to our table yet. After 35 minutes, we flagged someone down to come to our table and take our order. We ordered the mushroom fries appetizer, lemon shrimp pasta, and Cobb wedge. 45 minutes passed and we had not even gotten our appetizer. After an hour and a half, our mains came (pasta and salad), however, we still didn't get our mushroom fries. We asked the waiter and he said they take longer to cook, which seems to defeat the point of an appetizer. Another 20 minutes after our main dishes arrived, our mushroom fries were brought. At the 2 hour mark, we had just started eating our food. Mind you, we have a 1.5yr old with us, and if you're a parent - you know it can be hard for them to sit that long. After about 20 minutes, we try to order the seasonal donuts, which were Apple pie. We flag our waiter down and order the donuts, which took another 30 minutes to arrive. Once they arrived, the donuts were stale and the apples were cold. We got the bill and told the waiter we had a gift card, which he immediately shut down and said they didn't have the system to process. After clarifying it was a Great Maple gift card and not a Disney gift card, he accepted it - but wow, can you at least look at it before assuming? This brings our total restaurant experience to 3 hours. We barely made it out before our validation was up. This location seems to have a major problem with their table turns and service. It's too bad because the food is quite good (the only reason I'm giving 2 stars), but I don't think I can put my family through this again. read more

So when I heard about the Anaheim location opening a couple weeks before my Disneyland trip there was no question where I would be having breakfast. The dining room was very open and modern. Menu just right for theme park hotel with just the right amount of options. I had a latte which was perfect. No trip to Great Maple would be complete without the Maple bacon donuts, one order comes with 3 donuts which are plenty for 4 maybe 5 people. I split the scrambler meal with my friend and it was more than enough to fill us up. I can't say enough about this restaurant. A must try if there is one in your location! read more

The Easter breakfast spread was as unimpressive as the service, but the real kicker was the employee, Angie, who seemed to think she was the Easter Bunny incarnate. Our excitement about trying something new was short-lived, as Angie descended upon our table like a vengeful spirit, scolding our child for grabbing the golden egg. I'm still trying to understand why she felt the need to make a scene, but what I do know is that her "customer service skills" are an abomination. To make matters worse, our waitress seemed to be put off by the whole ordeal and her behavior started to change. She was no longer enthusiastic or attentive, and her once friendly demeanor turned cold and distant. We asked her about the refillable drinks, and she bluntly told us that they were no longer a part of the package. Disney Paradise hotel offers free parking with validation up to three hours. However, be aware if you go with a large party, you'll probably exceed that time period. There were many employees but whenever we needed something, they seemed to be elsewhere. We asked for napkins and straws but ended up going to the bar area and grabbing them ourselves. We asked for a cup of ice with our water and got it at the end of our meal. It took awhile for the food to come out but they forgot one and we had to remind them multiple times to check, which took even longer. French Toast Logs were very yummy. Strong maple syrup and cinnamon flavor, with five blueberries on the side. The logs were chunky and easily shareable. Both the Lemon shrimp pasta and turkey bolognese pasta were very delicious. They did not skimp out on the shrimp toppings and the noodles were cooked perfectly as well. I tried the turkey bolognese at their Newport location and both times I left full and satisfied. I would recommend trying any of the pastas. Parmesan truffle fries were salty, trufflely, and crunchy and the Shrimp Biscuit benedict was very flavorful.
