We grabbed breakfast with some family before a long day and coming to Great Maple started off our day on a high note. The food was delicious. I didn't expect the large portions, so I did have some leftovers for later on in the day. I've been to the San Diego Great Maple location previously and the menu is slightly different. They did have the infamous maple bacon donuts, which still remain amazing. I forgot how large they actually are and was honestly comparable to the size of my toddler's face. The service was great. Our server Matthew was definitely memorable and so kind. He was patient when it came down to placing the kids orders, which I was so grateful for. People within our group had various allergies and they made sure who had what allergies from when we created the reservation, arrived at check-in, as we ordered AND received the food. I hadn't visited the restaurant prior to the hotel remodel; I do believe that Great Maple did a great job at combining the Great Maple aesthetic with some whimsical Disney aspect. Great Maple is a local chain from around the Southern California area that has a casual atmosphere that celebrates the area's best food. And looking to find a place in the Disneyland Resort for a casual dinner, I made a reservation for Great Maple on a Saturday around 5:45PM. Walking up to the host podium, the hostess was very kind and checked us in promptly. She let my party know that walk-up parties only had seats available outside on the deck and that the inside seating was reserved for those with reservations. Sitting down, the server we had was very kind and checked in on us very often. And taking a look at the menu, there were a variety of choices ranging from salads and burgers, to full entrees and desserts. For this visit, I decided to order the Portobello Mushroom Fries ($22) and the Soda Pop Baby Back Ribs ($33). And when the food came, I was pleasantly surprised. Looking at the Mushroom Fries first, there were about 8-9 solid pieces of mushroom with an accompanying dipping sauce. And because each piece of mushroom was thick and breaded thinly, I could see the value proposition. For $22, the appetizer price can be a little steep considering other options in the area. But because you are on Disney property, the price is to be expected for a sit-down restaurant. The same could be said for the Baby Back Ribs as the plate I received had three decently sized pork ribs, coleslaw, a biscuit, and some butter. For $33, you could definitely find better value off property. But for the Disneyland Resort, the price was pretty fair. Of anything to be said, the flavors of the food are the reason I would come back here. Beginning with those mushroom fries, each piece of mushroom was seasoned perfectly with pepper and other spices. Because the breading was light, the mushroom had most of the air time in my mouth. The sauce was tangy and savory which elevated the seasoning already on the mushroom fries. Don't sleep on the mushroom fries! Moving onto the main course, the biscuit was flaky and airy which made it a light complement to the ribs. And while the coleslaw was rather standard, it was fresh and composed with a great ratio of vegetables. Tasting the ribs last, the barbecue flavor helped the moist meat find harmony together. I enjoyed how the meat of the ribs fell off the bone and the perfect level of fat on the meat. With a cozy atmosphere for a meal, Great Maple is a great place for date nights and family dinners alike. With booths, stand-alone tables, and bar seats, there is something for everyone here. The service was warm and kind per Disney standards and the food was outright delicious compared to many other options offered on-property. The biggest consideration you should make before deciding to eat here is whether you value the price to portion ratio. Each person can easily run up 60-70 dollars for the meal which can be expensive if you're not careful. But otherwise, be sure to secure your reservation! So they couldn't take a Disney gift card. Our food was good but not special. The great maple donuts were maply and bacony, and large. My Benedict was good, but I didn't care for the potatoes on the side. Overall, I've had better elsewhere, even in Anaheim. We went right when they opened on a Tuesday morning, so it was pretty quiet. Great Maple (Anaheim) is inside Pixar Hotel. At first, from the map, it seems like it's located at DT-Disney. The hotel lobby wall is very "etchy" like an artist working on the next project. Love it. To locate the restaurant look for walk past the lobby and look for the gift shop. We were promptly greeted by the hostess at the podium. Although we had a reservation and arrived 10 minutes early, we were asked to wait. At first, I assumed it was due to a full house, but later noticed plenty of empty tables -- which made me wonder if the wait was intentional, perhaps to give the impression of high demand, or they need some special settings. Our server was Carlos who was cool and friendly. He offered some suggestions on crafted drinks but wayyyy too early. We originally want the meat loaf but that's part of the dinner item (bummer). However, there's other great plates on both the breakfast and lunch menu which are served until 2pm. We got the: - Egg Benedict topped grilled shrimps. It's pretty good and different. Rated: 4 out of 5. - Fried chicken waffle (but their version which is maple glazed donuts). This one is a bit odd and overpriced for the entree. Rated: 3 out of 5. Came here for thanksgiving day dinner! It's very fun being able to walk through the Pixar Place Hotel and see all the Pixar decorations. The restaurant is modern and has a bar in the middle with TVs playing sports. Our server was great and super friendly/attentive. A few of our appetizers were excellent such as the Mac and cheese and charred cauliflower hummus. I'd say the Mac and cheese was the clear best app. For my entree I chose the turkey bolognese. It was ok but nothing special. I regret not trying the fried chicken with maple donuts! I later ordered the donuts for dessert. Both the maple bacon and pumpkin spice. They were ok but not my favorite since they were brioche donuts whereas I am a cake donut fan. Great Maple is located in the lobby of the Pixar Hotel by Disneyland. I also read that they can validate 3 hours of parking if you park at their hotel! They had cute decorations for Christmas which we enjoyed. We had a reservation for 7 and the rest of our party was running about 30 minutes late and they were very accommodating of this which we appreciated. For children they have a separate menu with a page to color (they provide crayons) and some word games, so definitely very kid friendly! Here are some of the items we ordered: - brew bears (cinnamon toast crunch and salted caramel - this is basically a cold brew with a flavor you choose and it comes in a cute bear cup. We thought the drinks were a bit underwhelming but the concept was super cute. I liked that there was the option to make the drinks with oat milk) - ribeye melt (I got this and enjoyed it -- the meat was juicy and the toppings/sauce all went well together. It was a huge portion so it lasted me two meals. Service * 1.5/5 - we made a reservation for 8:15 am (they open at 8:00 am), so it was still relatively empty upon arrival with only 3 other tables seated. Upon check in, the hostess was busy organizing some crayons. She said it would be a few minutes before we could be sat. That felt odd considering the restaurant was not busy and we had a reservation. We stood there for about 5 min watching her fiddle around with crayons before she set them aside to seat us. Like you really couldn't have finished that after taking us to our seat. Now 5 min may not sound like a long wait but when it's for a trivial thing like making sure crayon boxes are facing the same direction in a box, that is just plain rude. Then we get sat in a dark corner next to a family of four. With so many other tables open I asked if we could be sat in one of the tables that had more natural light. She said no because the section was closed. No more than two minutes later she sat a party in the exact table I asked to sit at. We were never offered water. I had to get up half way through my meal to ask for some. Towards the ends of our meal, the manager was finally visible and she was incredibly attentive and nice. In general, the service was poor and not what I would expect at a Disney resort/restaurant. For those prices I'd rather eat elsewhere. Between 2 people we split the Portobello Mushroom Fries, the Rib Eye Melt, and one of the seasonal doughnuts, which was a strawberry and lemon flavor. The Rib Eye Melt was decent, and the meat was tender and the combination of cheese and pesto was spot on. For dessert, we got the seasonal doughnut (strawberry and lemon). I heard the donuts at Great Maple were popular, but I couldn't really tell why. The donut tasted pretty mediocre and was very dense instead of fluffy and light. Those 3 dishes left us pretty full. It's a decent option to eat at if you want to visit Downtown Disney and need parking. We were able to get parking validated instead of paying $10 at the Downtown Disney lot so it was worth it for that. We got both types of eggs benedict, traditional and Cajun shrimp. At first glance we both thought that they really skimped out on the hollandaise. There was some on the poached egg itself but the biscuit was completely dry. Maybe this was by design, cause when we both cut open our eggs they exploded with white/clear runny liquid on all 4 eggs! We tried our best to still enjoy it and eat around the raw egg but soon we just had soggy, eggy slop. I'm going to be honest, we were both really grossed out by the end of the meal and just wanted to leave. It seemed like there was a lack of attention overall when it came to the food. Our server asked 4 different times if we had allergies, on one hand I appreciate her being thorough but by the third time I was a little annoyed at repeating myself, especially when our answer was "no". This is my third time eating here, but this time I came as a pre-diabetic, vegan/vegetarian/non-dairy. Tasty as it was, I craved more of a standard burger taste, therefore, I was a bit disappointed. I had field greens (what they call a salad) which came with a sweet vinaigrette. I wasn't asked if I needed the dressing on the side, and it arrived pre-mixed. As a pre-diabetic, I need to cut down on the sweets. I then asked if there were other types of dressing available, and the waitserver named about seven others. However, they were all on the sweet side. It is disappointing that there are no other less sweet dressings available . . . And this is the reason I had to knock off one star from this review. **October 2025: Friday Night Visit** I've walked by this restaurant when I visited Pixar Hotel and finally decided to make a reservation on the Disneyland app to try it out. I would absolutely order the donuts again, they huge in size and tasted freshly fried/baked. For the price (and Magic Key Discount), I think the offerings are reasonably priced and the atmosphere is really great for friends to gather. I would be open to trying some other classic American fare, perhaps something on their brunch menu or a salad if I'm feeling something lighter, but I'd be open to coming back again! We made a reservation for 10:15, checked in at 10 and they still had us wait until 10:55 to be seated.. and we were only seated because we walked up to ask how much longer it would be. The worst part? The table they sat us at was empty since we got there at 9:55. Hostesses were not very friendly/welcoming. When we were finally seated, we still weren't greeted for a while. When the waitress finally took our order she already looked so over it, was not very inviting. Food was okay, not anything special but the selection was good. They brought everything out pretty fast, especially compared to how slow everything had been up to this point. However, they did forget our fries. Restaurant looks nice and is good for talking. After a long day at the parks, we capped off our night with dinner at Great Maple. We as in my boys and I and the wicked witch of the east they call their mom. We were seated within less than 5 minutes of checking in. The 2-page menu itself was simple and wasn't an encyclopedia like the Cheesecake Factory. I ended up getting the fried chicken with maple bacon donuts. The food itself came out pretty fast compared to other restaurants at the resort. When it came to the presentation, this was a 5 star. What looked like a promising meal left me slightly underwhelmed. The fried chicken itself was amazing. Crispy, plenty of seasoning, and super juicy. On the other hand, the donut itself was kind out tough. It definitely tasted like it was cooked earlier in the day as some have said. I don't need them to make me a fresh batch. Just shove it in the oven for a couple of minutes and let the inside soften a bit. That would have elevated this meal. My kids enjoyed their food and the service was good so the 4 star was well warranted. I'll definitely be back but not anytime soon. read more

I really loved the convenience of this restaurant located at the Pixar hotel . We went to California adventures and the lines were too long to get food so it's nice to take a short walk to the non crowded restaurant. Disney staff are always the best ! Friendly and welcoming and make your day happy. Our waiter (Matthew? ) was the best . Name started with M. The menu ranges from basic meal of eggs and sausage to something as exciting as bacon donuts with fried chicken . Kids like simple so the menu accommodates that . And it's not crowded ! read more

First time visiting Great Maple at Pixar Place Hotel was for a family get together. We were a party of 7 and Matthew was our server. Immediately loved his energy and he knew everything about the menu and even gave us a few useful tips on what and how to order. We had not seen each other since November so we had lots to catch up on. Matthew was very aware of our girls brunch (our dad and brother in law and nephew were also there) and didn't interrupt our conversations and also checked on the guys while we were deep in convo. My sister ordered a burger with no mayo and my nephew also ordered a burger as is and I guess the orders got mixed up and my sister asked for another burger with no mayo and Matthew took care of it right away. The food was great. I'd been to the Great Maple in Newport recently and knew I wanted to order the portobello mushroom fries for the appetizer. I had their chilaquiles as my entree and we ordered a short stack of pancakes for the table. The chilaquiles were delicious and I would get it again and the pancakes were good, but we ordered strawberry pancakes and it was literally like 4 slices of strawberries on top of the pancakes, no strawberry compote. Just get the regular pancakes. Everyone said their dishes were great. I also ordered a latte and it came out with cute latte art on it! Mine was the spoon from Toy Story. The latte was delicious as well. I'm actually craving their food right now as I'm writing this. Excellent place to have brunch with friends or family. It's not as crowded as Goofy's Kitchen or Story Tellers, the vibe is way more relaxed and inside it's beautiful, upscale with Pixar themed paintings and portraits throughout and it has a nice sunny backdrop of outside as well. read more
