The Bistro is located on the first floor of Courtyard Anaheim. We decided to order breakfast to our room because we were in a hurry and didn't have time to eat there. I really liked the service, the good selection of food and drinks, and the affordable prices. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Inside, it was quiet with a nice atmosphere, and I appreciated the built-in outlets at the tables -- very convenient. There was just a small misunderstanding when I received my order. I was given one portion instead of two, and we didn't have time to wait for the correction. Unfortunately, I didn't take any photos of the food because we were in a rush -- but everything was very delicious. Had to get someone to come get their attention since they were just sitting there looking at me because I was 2 ft to the left of the register. Ordered 2 items salad and tater tot's , food is good but they gave me 2 knifes and a fork to eat with. Got food to go of coarse and didn't see their incompetence. Now I get to scoop salad with a spoon. 2 stars because food is good, 2 stars because they ruined my dinner that was $40 read more

You know for being the "café in the lobby of the hotel," the food was better than some restaurants I've been to. Not only was the food pretty darn good, the workers are really very nice. I've only had breakfast items here during a recent weekend stay at the Marriott and everything was delicious! I was bum initially because there was no breakfast buffet offer at this hotel, but this is waaaaay better! The price is very decent for a hotel stay as well and the presentation of the food is beautiful. I got to try the BEST acai bowl, the delicious avocado toast, and hubby even ordered the Bistro Breakfast sandwich 2x! They do offered Starbucks coffee but only dark roast. I wish they would have the regular blond roast, because the Kerig coffee in our room was bleh. I would stay at this Marriott again because of this Bistro! read more

They even have Starbucks drinks there too. its so convenient and you dont have to leave the hotel. They also have lots of pastries, they open and close at reasonable times. read more

This is a great bistro place after 5pm. Ezze and Joanna were the best. I loved the service. They were very helpful and knew what they were doing. This bistro isn't getting the credit it deserves. We stayed here for almost a week. The breakfast was amazing each day. Fresh and flavorful. Great service. We came for dinner the last night. The bar drinks are so delicious and fresh. Remind me of a fancy spot on the beach. Great ingredients. We have chef/bartender Ezze who was so friendly and amazing, he has the magic touch when it comes to specialty drinks. Trust me!!! And the food again so good. Won't disappoint. Joanna was superior with customer service to. We stayed chit chatting with them both for hours. Made you feel at home. The entire stay was great. General manager and assistant general manger really have done a great job at this location. Doesn't matter if you are coming here with family for Disneyland or adult/ work convention trip, you will be pleased with the superior service here. read more

Yes, the service is SLOW! But once I got my food after a 15-20 minute wait (for French toast only), it was delicious. I wasn't expecting much but it was REALLY good. I'm kind of a food snob and pretty picky, so I mean it when I say that the French toast was excellent. The chocolate muffins were really good too. Forgot to get any pics but I'd grab a quick muffin here again for sure. It's a great little place for the awesome hotel it's in. read more

We got there late. I had a turkey BLT and my husband had a Bistro burger. They told us it would take 20 minutes. We went upstairs, grabbed a glass of wine and went outside by the warm firepit while we waited. The next day he had the french dip, the au jus was a little salty for me. I live in Courtyard Marriotts on weekdays and this location is definitely recommended. The Bistro service is extravagant along with the front desk, make sure to try their "house spicy ketchup" with your fries or side dish. It's not spicy but has a really good bite. It was great. I was lucky to be here when Rob, behind the Bistro was on duty for the night and he was very knowledgeable about the drinks and his profession in general, he even made me my usual but all time favorite, the black cherry old fashion in his own style which I preferred to make it his way. The best I've had by far. And I also learned a few other things related to his field of expertise. Excellent service all around. This Courtyard location is on my priority list of repeatable stays if I'm within an hour drive or so, because of this service. Try the place out. You won't be disappointed. Obviously the rooms are great too, but that doesn't really change much with the quality of Marriotts across the board. read more

The Starbucks is limited, but they made my tricky drinks as requested. As for the Bistro: the breakfasts are good... Crispy bacon and fluffy eggs. The salads and soup also great price and loaded with toppings. During our dinner, the manager Edgar checked on us twice and was smiling. The chef "Ez" (Ezekiel) was quick and even refilled our water without asking. They are on top of things and very customer service oriented. Great experience. read more

We have only purchased breakfast items in the 7 day stay we had spread out over 2 visits. We ordered a breakfast burrito and basic breakfast every morning. Prices are fair. The breakfast items were fresh and tasty. They provide salsa and avocado spread on the side. They also give you the option of fruit or potatoes which is great because it doesn't overwhelm you with that greasy, overate kind of feeling. The wait time was not terrible either. I love that they have a wide selection of food items throughout the day and night. While I like to stay at hotels that provide free breakfast, it was a nice change to not have those microwaved eggs that most hotels serve. read more

We ate here a few times during our visit. My faves were the Cobb salad, avo toast and banana bread French toast. Fortunately I did not experience slow service. It's nice since you can call down to order and they call the room when the food is ready for pickup. Will miss eating here & look forward to our next stay to enjoy the bistro food again ;). The Brussel sprouts were soggy not crispy, there were hardly any of them in a full size. The vegetable entree was pitifully tiny, a tiny container filled only half way. For a few scraps of oversold pretentious food, I was hungry but decided to return the food and go to Mimi's across the parking lot for a waaaay better value. My recommendation: Mimi's. read more

Came down here for breakfast on our visit to Anaheim, the restaurant itself was extremly clean and looked almost new. From what I heard they had just remodeled less than a year ago, and this was a new concept that all Courtyards were starting to implenment. We ordered a couple of the breakfast scrambles, and the portions were huge!!! The food was good and the service excellent. I also ordered a Caramel Machiatto from their Starbucks bar, which was made just how I like it even after my multiple special requests. We did not have dinner there, since we spent all day in Disneyland, but we did notice that they have a happy hour every day from 5 - 7 pm. I give it a two star because the service was so slow. It took over 15 minutes to make my food. It consisted of scrambled egg whites two turkey patties and potatoes. They said they were really busy. read more

We had the french dip and kids burger. There's no cooking here- they just heat stuff up. They are very pleasant and make a nice gin and tonic. I'd rather they bring back cookies in the evening and coffee in the morning. If the prices were commiserate with the food quality (low), I'd feel better about it. read more

Nice people but unbelievably slow service. They don't seem to know how to handle more than one customer. This morning I went down, not crowded, no one in line and ordered coffee and a box of cereal (which was on the counter behind the server). ... 20 minutes later they gave me the cereal. The woman next to me was waiting 25 minutes for a yoghurt, another guy was waiting 20 minutes for a toasted bagel. A second woman who was waiting 30 minutes for a to go order, got it & discovered 2 of the breakfasts she ordered weren't in the bag. Again, it was not busy. Everyone behind the counter just seemed confused. Go to Denny's across the street. read more
