We had our floors installed a few years ago. 1-measurements seemed off by quite a bit so had them re-measure which reduced the estimate quite a bit. Still ended up with more left over than I feel should have been. 2- installer didn't have the proper tools to do the job. Took way longer than he said it would take, probably due to lack of proper tools. Left his mess from all of his cuts when he was finally done. 3-not their fault, but the core-tech lvp sucks. You can see footprints instantly, dry feet leave marks, paw prints leave marks, can use any cleaner or it will look horrible. Scratches fairly easily too which it's marketed as good for pets and kids so that sucks. 4-went back trying to get our measurements so we could plan out replacing them and were a manager had to get them for us and they would call us. Never called. Called and reminded them, never called. The gal wasn't helpful or very kind. Do not recommend them or coretech lvp. read more

So we are having a custom home built by Granite Mountain Construction. We needed to go pick out LVP flooring and tile for bathrooms. We started by going to Floor Traders and their selection was nothing I would put in my house also their sales associate keep following us around in a creepy sort of way like he thought we were going to steal a piece of tile or something. We told our contractor how disappointed we were and he made an appointment with Great Floors. The next day we were greated by Jerry at the front door and she wisked my wife away and showed her around the store. Jerry who is a woman made my wife feel real comfortable and really explained what would look great in our house. You could tell she was a real veteran because she really knew her flooring and how to treat customers. And by the way they have a nice inventory compared to the other creepy store who has rather cheap and not so nice flooring. read more

Very smooth process on ordering new carpets in our home. The carpets definitely have seen better days and the one we replaced it with was so nice. Definitely recommend the best padding they offer it made such a difference! They sent out somebody to measure it was pretty accurate! I had a tile floor installed in my laundry room/mud room a few days before May 12, 2021. The job was left incomplete still to date (8/2/2021). The transition to our hallway had the underlay board still visible and no transition was installed. Our stairway to our mud room was left with large holes and again the underlay board visible. This is the type of work they call complete. I have communicated on numerous occasions about how I am unsatisfied with the work and they still have yet to complete the job for three months. I understand some delay due to COVID, but three months is far too long for an hour of work left. The portions that were tiled were decent, but the attention to detail is lacking, communication is poor and they do not care to follow up with unsatisfied customers. I have got the run around with a number of employees, but the job is still incomplete! I will update this post if they care enough to fix their work. read more

Excellent manager services I worked with Trevor regarding a dilemma I had for flooring purchased from another company. In short, I bought directly from a vendor all supplies for converting our home to hardwood floors throughout. The vendor made an error on the order and it was going to be delivered when I was out of state. Since the delivery would have been sitting outside, which is unacceptable for hardwood flooring, I called Great Floors. Trevor was able to work with his installation team, provide me a quote and work with his crew to accept the delivery for a reasonable price. He and his crew Chris, Cody, and Austin really went above and beyond to help me when I hadn't purchased the flooring from their store. Excellent customer service! read more

We have used them before to do vinyl flooring and carpet in our lake cabin. Everything went smoothly, so when we started updating two bathrooms in our home, we went back to Great Floors. They do have a nice selection of flooring and bathroom wall tile. We started this process in late September 2016. Finally, before Thanksgiving we had the vinyl installed in the basement bathroom. It is now February 9, 2017 and we have tile in 1/3 of one shower!! The install manager needs to be held accountable to someone! Our installer who came on Monday was terrific and returned Tuesday morning as planned, but only to pick up his tools to go to a different job where he had been assigned!!! I felt so bad for him, it's a 40 mile round trip for him just to get his tools when he was supposed to work in our showers!! We will NEVER use or recommend this business again. read more

First: I scheduled an install two months out. I called 2 weeks out, then 1 week out to reconfirm. Had to take a day off work so they could do the job. There was a no-show. I called back at 9am...and the same guy who scheduled me acted as if I was never scheduled. I told him "Get someone here by noon, or I'm coming there and get a full refund!" They got a standby installer. Second: 2 years later, I brought in a sample of my flooring with the box to order more material for a stairwell install. I worked directly with the INSTALL MANAGER. Yet, I ended up with the wrong material (Western pecan, which is NOTHING like beech). A truly incompetent, unprofessional and worthless company. Avoid at all costs. read more

We worked with Jerri. She does talk extremely fast but other than that, she was very knowledgeable and helpful. Only showed us products that were in budget. When we asked to see products outside of our budget she explained how much more that would cost and gave us details and information so that we can make great decisions. We had flooring and countertops and grout and tile all chosen for the house build within 2 1/2 hours. That's about as easy and simple as things can get. Very pleased! read more

though they haveba great selection, their customer service is horrible. we ordered flooring in feb. THEIR professional came out and measured our needs. he padded the amount we needed by7 1/2 boxes. if you try to have the extra returned, they charge a 20% restocking fee when THEY were the"professionals" to make sure their amounts were correct. this is very unethical. since we had the extra, we decided to go ahead and finish. we had to wait almost 2 months for the installers, who were excellent and professional, to be able to get here. from the original order. the bull nose we needed to finish the job never came. we have called several times and either get answer machines or just no answer. long story short, they NEVER ordered the correct material til last friday, though several times we were told it was here. they were supposed to show up yesterday, per the installers, IF IT ARRIVED. never got a call, though waited all day. they are not professional, don't return calls, and seem incompetent at their jobs of ordering correctly and being professional, return calls, etc. still waiting! would not recommend this company at all, but the contracted installers were great. read more

I was looking for some tile for my bathroom Vanity backsplash. It wasn't a big project just wanted something pretty and really cheap. I had been to all the discount places and couldn't find what I needed. On a whim I was driving on Francis and saw Great Floors. I figured they have to have a clearance section. They did, and I was impressed I only needed about 5 square feet of tile but was undecided. The guy allowed me to take 2 sheets home and I eventually chose one of them and came back the next day. It was a Friday and I just needed a little help checking the tile. Jaime Johnson was with another customer but did greet me and said he would be with me. So I walked over to the clearance section and I was bummed because the tile I chose only had 4 square feet. He was so nice in offering me ideas on how to make this work. The price was soooo good I couldn't say no, I mean $1 a sheet when Lowe's sells the same thing for $7 a sheet. We brainstormed and came up with a great plan. We just had a house built by Lexar Homes in the Clayton, WA area, and Great Floors was the supplier for flooring and countertops. Jerri spent close to 4 hours in helping me choose laminate, vinyl, carpeting and granite, but she really shone when she found the granite was no longer available. She worked with the supplier to be sure I was happy with the substitute - which was an upgrade.My kitchen would have much less impact with any other product than what she found for us. When the house was close to completion, Jerri worked to get installers for trim and finishing. We are very pleased with Great Floors and the service Jerri gave us, and would recommend them if asked. read more

Very poor customer service. When something goes wrong and they have to fix it, they don't communicate and they don't appear to work very hard to make the customer happy. Waiting 2 months to get flawed carpet replaced. Still waiting. Won't use them again and will let friends know. read more

I have used Great Floors in the past and been happy with them so I went there when I needed multiple floors in my house. Everything went well at first but then I started seeing red flags. He was constantly taking calls when I was at his desk and when another customer came by and asked if he was busy said no and went to help them. The first quote was high so we pared down what I was getting which helped some. In looking at the proposal I was surprised to see if was 60.00 for each piece of furniture they had to move in and out including the kitchen appliances. Maybe that is normal, seems exorbitant to me. He encouraged me to get carpet in the bedrooms even after I explained my dog problem. It would be considerably cheaper, however. He showed me a sample of carpet that was a pretty blue but when it came to ordering he said there was no such color. When I said I would move the furniture and take up the rugs he said all the rooms had to be completely empty on the day of install which is almost impossible in a small house. The first proposal he had put down to use Kilz on the floor because of the dogs. This was not included in the final proposal and when I asked about it he said a gallon of Kilz would be about 60.00 and I had just bought a gallon at Lowe's for 20.00. I reluctantly put down a deposit which he made for 50% of the price. I was able to get it down though. I thought I had better talk to the manager but his mailbox was full and messages were left unanswered. I finally talked to the salesman again about my concerns and rather than addressing them, said if I had any doubts I should just cancel and I would get a full refund. So I did. The new floor looks beautiful, but the nightmare started as soon as they left. First, the stove wouldn't fit back in place with the new flooring. The dishwasher suddenly had no intake or outtake. The dryer wasn't vented properly, and now the hose on the washing machine just popped. I'm beyond frustrated with the lack of follow through from this team. read more

Honestly I wish I could give negative stars. This is a long post, but I promise it is worth the information. Don't use these guys. We originally decided to get our home tiled with another company, but they were going to subcontract the work so we went to Great Floors. They promised me they do everything in house and that they would price match our other bid. They were even going to do it in 7 days instead of the 14 days the other company said it would take. Because of the short time we decided to move into a hotel for the duration of the install. Well nothing they told us ended up being true. They had hidden fees which made us end up paying about $80 more than the other price we got. That doesn't seem like much, but we were already paying them 5 figures for this job. Then we found out that they DO subcontract out their work which is literally the only reason we didn't use the other company. We decided it would just be easier to go with it regardless of the red flags because of all the time and money we had already put into it. Well by the end of the week the 3 man crew we had working on the floors in our 660sqft house had only gotten so far as to rip up 3/4th of our old flooring and had broken our home furnace by filling our house with construction dust and allowing it to be sucked down into our furnace and over heat it. Since this was a subcontractor, he all but begged me not to call Great Floors and offered to not charge me an additional $300 for the extra labor they were going to have to do to complete the work (Which they shouldn't have had to charge because they promised the longest it would take was 7 days). During this time I had gotten a stomach flu so I again just went with it and paid for an additional week in our hotel. At the end of the now 14 days (the amount of time our original company was going to take) they had laid all the tile in the house, but pieces were chipped, cracked, cut to wrong sizes and the floors were uneven. I asked them to fix the problems and they got angry. I had enough. I told the subcontractor that was unacceptable, that we would be moving back into our house while they finished because of the cost of staying in a hotel for that long, and I contacted Great Floors. The Assistant manager told me he has no control of the work or speed of the subcontractors since they are not Great Floors employees and that I was on my own. We moved back in and moved from room to room as they grouted. I made them fix all of the chipped, cracked, and miss-cut tile. As they grouted the tile I was baffled at how utterly horrible they were at it and had them re-grout our whole kitchen. (While they did a worker told me he had actually never laid tile before.) After another 7 days (21 days total) of actually watching them work I had officially had enough. They still had 2 rooms to grout and all of the previous work was just horrible. I went into Great Floors and spoke with the most unhelpful assistant manager I have ever met. (His name was Chris or something) When I explained the situation he blamed me for not coming in sooner and was extremely condescending. When I told him to stop talking to me like that and fix the problem he asked me to leave the store. I refused and asked to speak to the actual manager. He said no and again told me to leave. I told him I wasn't leaving with out the number to corporate. He gave it to me and I left. When I called in to corporate no one answered so I left a message explaining the problem and gave them my number. Not one person from corporate ever tried to contact me, but the Manager of that store (Trevor) did call me about 30 minutes after I left that message. He apologized and told me he would handle it. He had the original subcontractors leave my house and left me without word of what was going to happen for 2 hours. When he did call it was to tell me a 1 man crew would be coming to finish grouting tonight and would fix the old grout from the other crew if he had time. This man was in my house for 3 hours and had the rest of our house grouted. He didn't stay to fix the old crews grout job, but at this point I was just so angry I didn't care. The Manager called to see how it went and I told him how awful our experience was. It was genuinely miserable and wasn't even worth it in the end. We wasted THOUSANDS of dollars on the worst flooring I have ever seen (I have had tile floors my whole life, I know what it should look like). The manager apologized and offered to have another person come out to try to fix the grout. I begged him to just leave our house alone and I never heard from him again. I had pretty much just learned to deal with it (by covering it with rugs) but fast forward a few months and we are trying to put new baseboards in and the floor is so extremely un-level that it is taking 3 times longer than it should be. I wish I never would have heard the name Great Floors, the floors suck and the staff are just as bad as our uneven tiles and grouting. read more

Update on this review. Store manager called and discussed experience. It was a very professional and good conversation. I will give this business another shot. I am going to do my dads kitchen. Product is first class stuff. I will upgrade this review as Ryan the store manager was upfront and honest. I would never use this business again. Poor customer service. First day we picked out flooring. Waited a while for sales lady to come back over to us with price information. Decided to walk over to her desk and she is helping someone with carpeting. When we called earlier that day we asked if they gave military discount, we were told yes 10%. When we got there she said no her coworker was wrong as she is giving us a good price. We questioned her and she said I have never been chewed out before for giving someone a good price. We were not rude or anything we just asked about what we were told by another salesman. 10 minutes later we get to write up order as she started helping someone that just walked in. We should of walked out. Only got worse from there. Long story short took 3 weeks to get all of the order. 3 visits to get all of materials. We only did 125 Sq. Feet. Selection there is wonderful but our experience with customer service was horrible. read more

How I ended up at Great Floors and the obvious reason I am so appreciative and will be a loyal customer: I started at one of our major home improvement stores. I could not find anyone that could give me information on the product I was interested in. Ever get the feeling they just want you to go away. So right there in their store I called Great Floors. I had never been there but they were close. Chris in sales answered the phone, near tears told him my dilemma. I sent him a text picture of the product I had picked out. He said he had something similar and sent me a text picture of their product. So off to Great Floors I went. Not even two hours later Chris was at my house with Justin to measure my floor. I ended up purchasing a far superior product. With renewed confidence and the great customer service I received from the people at Great Floors we decided to expand the project to include the adjoining bathroom. Five days later Bob Kent had showed up to install my flooring he was an amazing detail oriented guy, I had to leave for a short while and forgot to tell him I wanted the lines to run... he nailed it. As we conversed I learned he started with Great Floors the day after Mount St. Helen's blew. What an amazing end! Thank you to Chris, Justin and Bob with Great Floors. My husband and I were looking for a certain vinyl which we found here at Great Floors. Their sub-contractor they sent out was AWESOME, he himself gets a 5-stars rating. Great Floors get the 2-star rating for NOT BEING HONEST NOR FAIR with "their contractor". We paid Great Floors $225 for the install of a 12x10 piece of vinyl, plus a $60 "trip charge" that is for their sub-contractor, because we live an hour out of Spokane. I just knew they were not being honest with us, so i had to ask their installer what they were giving him to travel the hour out of town. He showed me his invoice which was NOT anything like mine. They were giving him $129 for the install and only $30 for the"trip charge". (Their sub-contractors are required to carry their own bond & insurance.) THE TRIP CHARGE WAS NOT FOR THEM, IT WAS FOR THE CONTRACTOR TO DRIVE TO MY HOUSE. GREAT FLOORS RIPPED US BOTH OFF! THEY LIED TO US ABOUT THE $60 AND LIED TO THEIR OWN CONTRACTOR ABOUT THE $60. I totally understand that I have to pay a trip charge, which I am OK with. What I'm not OK with, is Great Floors keeping 1/2 of it for themselves. They already took a large chunk of the install fee, so why did they put on my invoice "trip charge" and on his invoice they put "open labor". If I lived in Spokane there would not be a trip charge fee and Great Floors would not of been able to steal the $30 that was meant for the installer. Why did they rip him off for this? Didn't they already get enough from the install fee? I felt so bad about it that I gave him another $40 for the long drive. I'm thinking about filing a complaint with our states Attorney Generals office because this is so unethical that they scammed us both. I wish I could put the contractors name and number so everyone could call him directly. Just be aware of the scam and if you are charged a trip charge, ask if the installer gets the full trip charge fee. read more

Went looking for tile to do our bathroom remodel. Found color we liked along with tile floor edging. Ordered product, few weeks later find out order is in went to pickup and tile floor edging(bullnose) was not. On their paper work it showed that it had been picked up at their vendor and I said how and they said by me or someone else and I said no. So they did some checking and said you are right and that they would get it coming for me . So a week goes by they said it is in at the store and to come pick it up. So I get there and nothing . So I spoke to store assistant manager and his response was this is all they gave us 2 out of the 8 that I ordered. So the assistant manager says his salesman is on his way to the vendor to pickup the rest. I get a call back from the salesman saying he was unable to pick it up because he had already left their vendor and he did not know about the order????. So he asks for me to go pick it up clear out in the valley when I live on the north side. WTF!!! So they finally go back out and pick them up and when they get back they called me. So I go back to the store and pick up the tile and 2 of the floor edging are chipped WTF!!! I will never ever ever ever use this store ever ever again, although they gave me 2 extra tile as replacements and a whole 10% refund for the whole issue. Worst customer service ever. Hope to god the rest of my tile has no broken pieces. read more
