Why should you go to this carpet rip-off? And why even think about it? Everything about carpet barn is a joke. The employees, the people how they talk to you.They talk just like criminals for an example, I had an estimate and they charged me. I was new, didn't know better $55. Estimate to do the work after they got doing the estimate. I felt uncomfortable with them. They did a full cost estimate to do my house with carpet and flooring $,21500. I said wow, and then the manager at Spokane tells me it's so difficult to do the stairs. It's one of the most expensive things to do when you're a carpet layer. F****** liar, you f****** liar. I wouldn't had estimate done by united flooring company. They did the whole thing flooring, carpet. And did extra $11500. Do not go to carpet barn. Unless you wanna lose money, give money and be harassed by the managers, they're idiots read more

I would not recommend the North Spokane Carpet Barn. They sent an estimator to measure our room. He measured incorrectly AND we were charged $55 for his incorrect estimation. When the installers showed up they didn't have enough carpet or pad because of the incorrect measurements. The installers came back the next day and did a fabulous job installing the carpet. No complaints there. However, we were promised by Dave, an in store employee, that we would not have to pay for the "extra" carpet due to the incorrect measurement. When the final bill came due we were indeed charged for the entire room of carpet. Upon complaint Dave attempted to explain it away with talk about the layout of the room requiring seems. We received an $80 "discount." Our 198 sq. ft. bedroom ended up costing almost $1100 total including tax. Their installers were friendly, quick and professional. That's why they're getting 2 stars. Their in store staff and estimator were terrible to work with. Pick a different company. read more

Overall, I am very dissatisfied with Carpet Barn. When I went into to pick out my flooring, the service person was disinterested and unhelpful. Today was installation day, and they did not call me beforehand to let me know when they would arrive so that was a surprise when I opened the door in my pajamas to two floor installers! But, I did receive a call 45 minutes after the flooring installers arrived from the service people- telling me that they made a mistake in my quote and I owed over 500 more dollars..... The installers but left my home extremely messy- pieces of flooring everywhere, a piece of the old trim, left a piece of their equipment AND damaged our trim. I was let down by Carpet Barn and would not use their services again. read more

I hired Carpet Barn to install laminate flooring throughout the main floor of my house---living room, dining room, kitchen and entryway. It was quite a project to prepare for this, and a project I had wanted to do for quite some time. I cannot rate Carpet Barn higher than five stars, but I would like to give them 10! From start to finish, everybody I dealt with was professional and knowledgeable, the workers were on time, worked tirelessly, were happy all day and kept me informed. The results are amazing---lots of attention to detail and meticulous work. If you have any desire to upgrade your home with laminate, call Carpet Barn. We had all of the carpet removed from our five bedroom/two bathroom home and all new flooring installed on March 26th and 27, 2018. The sales person, Scott, was wonderful in store and set up the measurement appointment - Matthew was on time, knowledgeable and very professional and accurate with the measurements. The installation crew led by Victor was absolutely amazing. On time both days, worked well into the evening to finish the job. Just purchased and got a whole house full of carpet from Carpet Barn. The total experience was excellent. Our salesperson Jeanette went out of her way to come measure our house on our time schedule and prepared a quote for us in a timely manner. The day the carpet was to be installed the installers arrived ahead of schedule and exceeded all our expectations in removing and replacing our carpets. We have many stairs that required expert work. I'm not happy with my installation experience. The guy showed up to my freshly remodeled house and put dirty hand prints all over my walls, white doors and white cupboard doors. I was forced to repaint over his hand prints with the new carpet in place because I could not scrub them off. We purchased the carpet last on purpose to avoid painting anything once it was installed. When he laid the carpet he put chip marks the width of my thumb on my freshly painted molding in multiple areas through out the house that I now have to go buy plastic liner to lay over the carpet and repair with paint. Additionally, he left loose nails all throughout my living room that my husband and myself have now both stepped on with bare feet. I'm not impressed at all with our experience. read more
