We would like to offer our honest review of our fabulous experience with Great Floors in Lacey. Beginning with Michael Shultz who understands how to take care of his customers and doesn't miss a beat with follow up and excellent customer service. We were living out of state and visited Michael at Great Floors for carpeting, LVP flooring and granite countertops. We were here one week and then gone for a month, before permanently moving to Olympia. A lot of communication, moving parts, changes and questions/answers were needed to complete this large project in a month's time. Not only is Michael delightful, but his attention to detail was unpresented. We felt he 'had it covered' every step of the way. Working with Michael and his assistant was simply a pleasure. The most important message we received from Michael was making sure we were happy with the service, products and results. In addition, he offered services over and beyond what was expected. Pricing was fair with him utilizing the 'best deal' for us and negotiating with the granite supplier. We come from big cities and noted it was refreshing to have such a positive experience. I had been considering new kitchen countertops for five years but didn't like all the whites and grays that were featured almost exclusively in so many stores as well as online. My daughter-in-law suggested we go to Great Floors to see what was available there. I had used them for a very large area of laminate flooring several years earlier and was very happy with the job. I didn't even know they did countertops. I found a sample of quartz that I liked (one of just a few that wasn't gray, charcoal or a white-gray-charcoal mix ). Denene was very helpful, showing me numerous backsplash tile samples that blended well with the quartz. I took all of them home to see how they looked in my space with my lighting. As time progressed, I voiced concern over replacing all of my old tile counters with the new colors. My quartz sample was so small, it was hard to imagine the change. Denene suggested I take a run up to the Cambria showroom in Kent to see a big slab in person. I did and that helped....a lot. The counters were installed without a hitch in 5 hours (including demolition of all the old tile). Mike at Great Floors was exceptional at installing the tile backsplash, which was a mix of small cream, champagne and gray tiles. I had casually told Mike I wasn't crazy about the gray tiles. When I saw the finished project, he had picked through all the tiles and cut back on the gray ones, dispersing them evenly but not directly under my bright under-counter lights. It turned out great, I was thrilled with the results. I was so happy with my ongoing kitchen project at Great Floors that I also ordered new bedroom carpeting from them. Installer Harrison did a beautiful job from start to finish, not only with installation but also carefully moving heavy furniture and placing it all back exactly where it belonged. Great Floors also charged half of what another flooring store wanted to move the furniture. And did I mention the price was right? It was . Extremely detailed estimates, too. Every cost associated with the install was spelled out which was also very important to me. I have one more job for Great Floors coming up. I have no doubt it will be a very good experience. read more

Probably the worse experience ever beginning with the Salesman to the final product. We purchased new Carpet for the house and decided to spend extra for the upgraded carpet and padding. After 3 months of having the carpet installed - We started to notice the fibers coming out in various spots. We called Great Floors and had them come out and inspect....Of course they tried to place blame in every area but faulty and defective carpet. Now after 6 months - The carpet looks 15 yrs old with fibers lifting from every room, including areas that have low traffic. Great Floors WILL NOT stand behind the product or the Warranty which I find ridiculous after spending upwards of $8,000. Please do yourself a favor and look elsewhere to spend your hard earned money....Stay far away from this company. If my review can help at least one person, couple or family then at the end of the day - I will feel better! We are stuck with this CRAP Carpet from a company that proved they could care nothing about their customers!!! Again....My advice would be to shop elsewhere and stay very far away from Great Floors. Horrible customer service. We are doing a remodel and our contractor suggested using Great Floors. We were told after the rooms were measured that carpet would be installed the following week, if we chose carpet that was in stock. We had our room disassembled so we were sleeping on our mattress on the floor in the living area of our house since we knew carpet installation was coming within the week (so we didn't have to put our room back together and take it apart again for carpet installation). We went in the same day we were measured for carpet and chose a carpet that was in stock. We were told we would receive a call confirming the cost and instillation. 4 days later, I called as I had not heard anything. I left several voicemails over a course of several days. Eventually my contractor called the person we were working with *not going to call him out publicly but it starts with a J*. J said he had just received the measurements (almost a week later which seemed improbable). He then sent me an estimated cost which showed all rooms being installed at once (4 bedrooms). I had specifically told him we were doing master bedroom and hallway/stairs first and the other three bedrooms within the next few months. He sent me another estimated cost, almost 500 more since the rooms would be installed on separate dates. Very frustrating but ok. So, I still don't have an installation date, almost 10 days since I was told it would be just a few days after measurement since it was a small job and we picked out carpet in stock. Fast forward, we are now told they dont have the carpet in stock. It will be a few more days. We are frustrated but are pot committed since we have been sleeping on the floor with our bedroom scattered throughout the house awaiting carpet installation. I finally get a potential date but then am sent yet another estimated cost, HIGHER AGAIN, "because we miscalculated some measurements". This time it was a few hundred dollars more. What a s*hitshow. No thank you. Went straight to Abbey Carpets inTumwater. Got same day attention, better carpet for a better price than the lower end "stock" carpet Great Floors offered. AND they got us measured the next day and an installation day set the next. I guess Great Floors doesn't need "little guys' business" like ours. I am betting the owner wouldn't appreciate the employee turning away $5000 worth of business. That adds up over time. J made it seem like we were not important, that he would get to us when he got to us, and increased the price 3 times, even though they were told ahead of time what we needed and wanted to do. Update! I was ready to give them positive reviews after my initial Yelp review but AGAIN they screwed up. The new contractors didn't have the tiles to complete the job. Not the new contractor's issue but the Company. After great pressure to schedule the job during times that we were not available, a big push for this company, they scheduled a time we were available. Unfortunately, the job could not be completed due to lack of supplies. Two weeks later, many phone calls not returned, but payment received by them, our job is not done. This is evidence that GREAT FLOORS should not be trusted. They take the payment but don't complete jobs on schedule. Now I have 3/4 of a kitchen with a backsplash, and the "Tiles" are still on order. Still on order but the job should have been completed a month ago. A month ago. No help is given via the telephone. Multiple phone calls are given but not returned. No concern from the staff or the store. Go elsewhere. Do not trust GREAT FLOORS for your business. I have a 2/3 rds of a kitchen but paid for a full kitchen backsplash. No trust. Review of those that didn't see my original review. We scheduled a tile backsplash. First attempt, the contractor didn't have the right "fill" despite being Lowes being down the street. We rescheduled for the next Friday, despite them trying to get us to do a early morning appointment during the week. We refused, and next time the contractor arrives he has the WRONG tiles. We complained via YELP and received an immediate reply. They still tried to push for the times we were not available but found a countractor, very good good contractor, that understood our issues and laid the tile. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough. Calls to GREAT FLOORS are not returned. Sad...we paid for the tiles, we paid to have them played. They are not returning our calls? Why is my kitchen backsplash not a priority to them? I paid them? DO NOT TRUST THIS BUSINESS! They take money for jobs PROMISING jobs will be completed but eventually are NOT completed. Read the negative reviews. They are more honest than the positive....at least for US. GREAT FLOORS! Finish our job! Update: 01/31/19 Still no response from our calls. Still living without a full countertop. Appliances living on dining room table. We move them to have family dinners then move them back. I still don't understand a business plan that doesn't answer customers, or PAYING customers questions. We have always loved our products from Great Floors! Most recently we went in and worked with Matt McKenna and I highly recommend him. We had a discontinued sample from Lowe's we were trying to match and Matt immediately found something almost identical, cheaper than we imagined, and actually a better fit for our flooring needs. We were installing ourselves so we bought two boxes, he gave us an end cap on the house, and we were on our way home. He was quick, direct, friendly, and very helpful. In 2016 we bought about 1500 square feet of wood laminate flooring from Great Floors as well to install ourselves. We worked with a different salesman but had excellent service and got a GREAT deal. Three years later and we still love our floors and get compliments on them often. We will be back to buy from Matt in a few months to buy flooring for our master bath. read more

Totally fricken BAD!!!!!! I ordered tile for my shower almost two months ago. My appointment for install was June 16, 2021. It is June 28th and there is only three tiles on my wall!!!! The tile setter is completely incompetent! He actually started a tile flush on the bottom and by the time he got up the wall, there was an 1/2 to 3/4 gap on top!! He actually thought it was acceptable!! We made him take it down and he was supposed to be here first thing this morning and never showed up!! He also ruined the walls so we have to have someone come in and fix the damage. They think they are going to charge $5000 in labor, but they are dreaming!! read more

We purchased flooring for our bathroom through Costco and Great Floors was the contractor. The original flooring had several issues, which resulted in Daniel, the floor layer, coming to our house three times before the job could be finalized. He had a great work ethic and the results were fabulous. He kept in touch with us as to his arrival so we were never surprised when he arrived. He was respectful and competent and clearly cared about the end result. Because of Daniel, (and the rest of the gang at Great Floors; Lisa and Jonathan), we love our new bathroom floor and we'll be back for our future floor needs! read more

Denene Kelly was not wearing a mask on three occasions upon arrival, after showing us where flooring was, and upon leaving - all when she thought we were not within sight. After being confronted about not wearing a mask she quickly exploded into a defensive rampage, removed her mask from her face, and make proclamations that she already had COVID and was immune, that she doesn't care about cdc rules, she follows "her rules," that it's too hard to speak on the phone with a mask, that if I have an auto immune disease (something I mentioned when I asked her to wear a mask) I should just stay home. She proceeded to make comments about my child, my character and more. I asked to speak to a manager, in which Tim Benn stepped in explaining he was a previous assistant manager stepping down. He initially dismissed me saying "if you want a manager she (Denene) will get you one." and proceeded to walk away from the conflict that was clearly taking place that I was seeking manager mitigation for. Later we returning and pulled me aside and began gaslighting me and minimizing the situation with another male employee that was training to become the assistant manager. At no point was an apology made for their staffs behavior and the exposure she made while blatantly admitted she's already had Covid while intentionally removing her mask (exposing me and other patrons) and verbally assaulting me. This is a horrible establishment with horrible people. Please note previous review mentioning a patron received Covid from their employee. We had been searching for engineered hardwood for sometime to match what we already had in our house. We were adding hardwood to an existing bedroom. We were unable to find it anywhere. One day we decided to go by Great Floors based on some of the recommendations that we saw in reviews. We met up with Mary who helped us find the floor that matched almost exactly and also gave us a great price and service. I could not be more pleased with her service. I would have to say we had a terrible experience with Great Floors. I don't know if it is the company as a whole or the particular store in Lacey. I would steer clear of dealing with Andy, the assistant manager of that store. He treats you as a used car salesman and once the sale is made moves on. First of all we decided to spend just under $20k to go with a professional company for two reasons; we wanted the floors done right and we wanted them done quickly. We were told the project would be done in 2 or 3 days, however it took over a month due to Andy ordering wrong material for the stairs. So after moving our entire upstairs to the downstairs we had to wait over a month for the remainder of the job to be finished with our house in shambles (half carpet, half wood) and got to store the remainder of the wood in our bedroom.... At the end of the project we asked if we were going to get a price adjustment due to paying for custom stair treads rather than what we got (standard stairs) on top of having to deal with the over month delay. They adjusted the price by $500, which is an insult, considering that wasn't even the price difference of the custom stair treads. I would not recommend Great floors if you want the job done right and in a reasonable amount of time. Customer service was horrible! read more

I chose Great Floors to install floors at my second home after they did excellent at my house in Olympia. Initially, my experience was wonderful. The sales staff is knowledgeable, helped me chose vinyl flooring and scheduled my installation very quickly. That's when things went sideways. The night after my floors were installed, I received a voicemail from the sales person, letting me know that he'd seen pictures of some of the baseboards, realized they were not installed correctly and assuring me Great Floors would have someone out to fix this as soon as possible. When I arrived at my home, I was horrified. While the actual floors look acceptable, Great Floors managed to destroy nearly every square inch of molding as they were re-installing it. They "forgot" and left a toilet sitting in one of my showers. Created gouges in walls all over the house. Left remnants of the old carpet sticking out under borders of the new floors. All in all, a complete disaster. Even though I received multiple in-person, phone and email assurances, it has been a month and Great Floors will not schedule repairs or replacement for the baseboards they destroyed. While the sales team provides good customer service, unfortunately, Great Floors' action fall far, far short of reasonable expectations. read more

Let me apologize in advance that this review may be a little long for some readers. If you want the quick and easy answer it is: 5 Stars, more than exceeded our expectations and ask for salesperson Tim B. We were replacing all of our downstairs flooring (about 700 square feet). We chose a very nice bamboo that came with a 50 year warranty. The bamboo is made by a company out of Seattle. We wanted to be able to support two local companies (Great Floors & the bamboo manufacturer). We were very happy with the price of the product as well as the install price. When the installer was halfway into installing the bamboo he noticed that about 1/3 of the boxes contained warped product. It had arrived this way from the manufacturer. This was not Great Floors fault. Some of the pieces of material had a half inch bow in them! Our installer, Nathan, said that he could not ethically install this product. We called Tim, our sales rep, and he said that he would rectify the situation. Turns out that the manufacturer took full responsibility for the problem with the product. I owe a huge thanks to Tim and the other people at Great Floors who intervened on our behalf to make that happen. In the couple of days that we were waiting for the manufacturer to take ownership of this problem I did a lot of research on bamboo flooring. Something I should have originally done. At least 3/4 of the reviews I read were from people with unhappy experiences with their bamboo floors. Let me be very clear here...these were not negative reviews about Great Floors or the company out of Seattle. It was people unhappy with bamboo in general. My wife and I decided that bamboo was not for us. Tim took a great amount of time to explain all of our different options. Never once did he try to sell us, upsell us, or push a particular product/manufacturer off on us. He simply gave us the pros and cons for all of our choices. We LOVE the product we ended up purchasing from Great Floors! The installation was a breeze. The crew that came out to do the installation was a great group of guys (Vlad, Alex, and Alex) that we totally felt comfortable having in our home. We purchased tile for our bathroom and kitchen and had gotten an estimate for hardwood flooring. During the sales process we picked out grout and the sales associate said he actually had some open bags in the color we chose, and would throw it in for free since we were making such a large purchase. Unfortunately, they didn't order the correct amount of jet-backing or tile for the kitchen so we were short by 150sq ft. They also gave us one random sheet of jet backing that was 1/2" rather than the 1/4" we were using. No grout was included as he'd said.. For the hardwood, I called and left multiple messages to try and place an order, none of which were ever returned. They never called us to let us know our order was in. When I stopped in to pick up my order I stood in the warehouse for over 15 mins with no one in sight. I finally called the front of the store and told them I'd been here 30 minutes before they were supposed to close to allow time to load everything up, but I'd been waiting for 15 mins without help. They sent someone to come help me, and he cursed and muttered under his breath the whole time about "Disrespectful coming in right before closing." God forbid you have to do your job. read more

Horrible and unresponsive customer service. Super Greedy especially with insurance work. Avoid as all costs. Obvious carpet manufacturing error/defect completely ignored and unresolved. Money hungry salesmen salivate at insurance claims and charge what they wish. Ridiculous and totally unfair. No response after cash is exchanged. The only thing worse than a used car salesman is some poor sap employed as a carpet salesman. How can you live with yourself? Unbelievable. read more

The reviews are accurate, poor customer service. Thought I would try a smaller business than the usual big box stores. Scheduled an apt to finalize carpet after being in there once, sales person was with another customer and 30 minutes late without acknowledging my presence. Had someone measure for additional flooring and counter tops. Has to ask repeatedly for the quotes. No follow-up after carpet was installed to see if I was satisfied or to check in on other quotes I received. Only reason I am giving 3 stars is because Jose the carpet installer and crew did a great job. I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

I would give it a minus 10 if I could for customer service! When you have a contractor setting on hold because this store can not get its act together, it is NOT funny. A month after order still waiting on piece of flooring order. No follow up or calls from store. You must call them. Assistant manager knew there was a problem but hide in his office and sent others out to handle it. Blamed it on new person, but doesn't someone oversee and make new person accountable for their work?? 3 visits to the store later, the assistant manager, who is still in his office hiding, magically knows what happened and it involves the manager. Oh by the way, manager is not available or can not be located. Ended up returning everything and will order the rest of our flooring needs from someone else. December 2016 we had our engineered hard wood floors installed. Just a few months later we had major separation issues between several boards. Called great floors in Lacey where we purchased our floors. They sent out a repair guy by the name of Ken. First of all he was late. Second, he acted like he was high on something. Third, how he proceeded to fix the separation was by jumping into the floors to try and "push" the glued floors back together. Fourth, he pulled a transition piece up that was glued down to try and fix the separation and when he couldn't get the pieces to move he decided to nail down the transition piece and crack and ruin it and started to laugh and say (oh wow I didn't know it would do that?) I asked him to replace the piece he broke. Ken told me he didn't have a piece like that and it was a very expensive piece of wood but he would see what he could do. As months went by and multiple calls to great floors telling them what happened, ken finally called me back and scheduled an appointment. The morning of that appointment he calls and says he can't make it and needs to reschedule yet again. 2 weeks later he shows up with a transition piece that isn't the same at all. I tell him it's not the correct one and he replies with, well it's the same color as the others and leaves. I call great floors and tell them the issue and I said if he isn't going to install the proper pieces I have paid for then he should come back out and replace 8 more transition pieces to match the one he installed. I have called every 3 months to get someone out here to replace and repair the separation with a promise of calling back and getting someone out here to fix all of these issues. Great floors has a one year warranty on the product and installation. I am now 2 months away from being at the two year mark. If I knew how horrible this place was I wouldn't of purchased with them. Customer service is at an all time disgrace and I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND them at all. If I had the option of a negative rate I would. DONT BUY FROM THESE GUYS read more

I SO wish I had looked here at others' experiences before we ordered our kitchen flooring from Great Floors. Poor customer service, long wait times to be helped while in the store. Salespeople seemingly could not care less that I waited and paced with questions and my credit card, ready to order. Seeing that I was getting aggravated, I did finally get the attention of a manager who took my money and carried out the order. Communication between the person who came out to measure our floor and the installation crew never happened. We told the measurement guy that we needed new underlayment before this material could be installed, yet that message never made it to the installation crew. That required them to leave and then return with the additional material. We were trying to avoid that delay but these two entities didn't talk to each other. Crew arrived 30 minutes late. They stayed 2 hours and then at 12:30 were MIA for 4 hours! To eat and get additional flooring material?? Really? They returned, no apologies or explanations about their extended absence.The installation supervisor was unapologetic that his crew was late. Also seemed to be at a loss about why they were gone for 4 hours, and again, unapologetic. We didn't know if they were going to return to finish or not! Job should have taken 8 hours max. Turned out to be 10 hours. The thoughtful thing to do was to leave at 5:00 and return the next morning... I am not new to the industry standard of how to treat a paying customer. The floor is beautiful and the installation was well done. Workers were pleasant. I left a message for the salesperson I worked with (if you can call it that, he was not at all helpful) about all of this and I have yet to hear back from him or from anyone at this store! Also no instructions about what product to use to clean our new floor. Again, an industry standard ignored. And one more thing. . . it was full payment up front. I can fully understand paying for the material before the order is made, but paying for the installation up front is a bad idea. The customer then has no leverage when the workmanship is faulty. Thankfully this was not the case for us. But with all the ineptitude involved, we are never going there again! read more

We loved the work they did for us last week. We had our kitchen, laundry room, dining, and living room down with laminate we had picked out a few weeks before. I just want to write a review for Great floors These Guys are great they removed old carpet and lamented flooring in our home in one day. Ten hours to be exact every thing looked great the furniture was moved and all the trim work was reinstalled back to original positions. I would recommend these guys vic,Daniel, and Alex there very professional nice guys and they get the job done. I do not know how these people stay in business. Perhaps the main Corporate Offices don't care about their reviews. My experience was with Tom at the Olympia location. My husband and I were redoing the carpet & vinyl on our rental. We were told right off the bat that they were very busy and it may take a while to get someone out to measure. No date was given. I called 3 times within 2 weeks and finally we got someone out. Then came the real wait. I called Tom several times and he still didn't have a quote for us. At best, we feel that they really don't care about what they do and if that is the case, I do not care to use them. Terrible Customer Service. We ended up going with a competitor and are happy with or choice, as the competitor was much more professional in their approach and service. read more

HUGE SHOUT OUT TO DENINE IN SALES!!! THANK YOU!!! I started shopping for my home renovation over a year ago. I was very sure on the look I wanted, but felt pretty overwhelmed on the number of possibilities for materials. I was lucky (so lucky!) to have met Denine in sales. She showed me a number of materials that would be possibilities, let me cruise the show room, ask questions, and take samples home. I have to admit, I was pretty undeceive at first. The kind of shopper who might return multiple times in a week and not purchase. The kind who has a bunch of questions that are probably resolvable online, but asks them ALL to the sales person. Heres the deal: Denine was fantastic to work with. No pressure. No "sales" feeling. More like shopping with a friend. The real kicker here was that she showed me things that I could actually afford, that were much better quality than things I saw else where. Because of the massive savings she got me on my downstairs flooring, I was also able to carpet my entire upstairs as well! Got the look I wanted (exceedingly) and house looks like its brand new now. I have been living with 20 year old flooring, and am so grateful we updated. And so thankful that this was a really positive, and fun experience. Where to begin with this review? 4+ years ago I remodeled my bathroom in my1929 Capitol district home. Well all went well until the window in the bath started to warp and rot on the frame (Double hung, typical for that age and home style, those homes generally on had tubs.) Because this is a rental it made it tough to see what was happening. Fast forward, I had to get a better suited window which was retangular and set higher on the outer shower wall. This bathrooms remodel was a white subway tile. I wanted to keep it elegant, in the period and simple. Once the window came out and the contractor reframed ect.there was now a huge area in the center to re-tile. I thought I had two boxes left over in the basement with all other tile matches in the home. Found out I did not. So when my contractor contacted me and said he went back to home depot to get white subway tile, but he noticed while installing some 6 pieces it seemed a bit off color. That's where it got bad, in a hurry. It was unacceptable, putting a shade different in the middle of the wall, no. Since I have renters is important to get things repaired and don't distrupt them. I needed the right tile. I rushed everywhere for this tile, I had my one tile as a sample. No one was able to help and it just seemed to get worse. Thinking to myself, All these people in the store are telling me well ma'am that was four plus years ago we probably don't even have that color anymore. There were no markings on the tile to give me any indication of make model,nothing. I started thinking I was going to have to retile my entire bathroom which would be a huge job. But then in my hysteria, well I wouldn't say hysteria I would say very stressed state. I got an idea since I already ran out of ideas to try this place called Great floors. I walked in with my sample and was greeted by really cheerful people and we're in covid-19 So there weren't a lot of people in the store, for me that was good. I approached them with my problem and Mary who is an associate there assisted me. She seemed pretty darn confident. For the first time in about 5 hours I felt like somebody was going to save me literally! Mary took me over to a selection of whites and of course I had my one sample. I let Mary do her thing because that's what she does and she pulled a few samples out and said let's take these out front and take a look. I was pretty relieved there was actually samples to look at. But then when we got them to the front under the light it was really difficult using these little chip samples and my one subway tile. White is difficult. And there's many shades of white. But Mary didn't seem worried and for the first time I thought I know she's going to do this right . So we even took the samples outside in the natural light and it was tough because the samples were little one by one chips. After a bit of not being really sure which tiles were a match Mary made a suggestion. Mary put in an order for two tiles different colors that were actually subways the same size as my own ordered them in which came in I think in about three days. I got a call from Mary who is always so cheerful and said I have the samples come on in. Well I was holding my breath as my renters are without a shower still. We went in, pulled the tiles and there was the match! I could not have been so relieved. I know this is a long story but I'm telling you the story because I want you to know that this was a huge deal for me and stressful, but Mary pulled it off. So thank you for reading my long story and thank you so much Mary. If I ever have another issue with tile I'll be visiting Mary. So disappointed by the customer service. For a company that has a mission statement targeted at customer service they fall extremely short. The craftsmanship of our floors were not up to standard and the manager Paul agreed yet has failed to address the issue. Extremely disappointing! I can't say enough good things about Craig our salesman. Experiencing a sudden refrigerator generated flood in our Kitchen we were looking for new flooring for the kitchen, dining room and living room since it is a continuous floor. Poor Craig, I took home many samples, checked them out with my husband, we mulled over several, couldn't really agree on any one of them. Craig was very, very patient, not pushy at all. We finally agreed to just pick one and be done with it. Then we went to another store to look at cabinets, they had at the entrance flooring, hubby and I instantly fell in love with one on sight. We took a sample home, and loved it even more. Happily I took it to Great Floors to buy it from Craig. Sadly he informed me that the store we found it in only deals in close-outs. I had looked around to see if I could find something even close, as I really, really, really, really,really wanted to buy from Craig. As he said it was a close out. So purchased it at the other store. HOWEVER we have a bathroom and Craig we still have that laundry room to tackle. So absolutely we will be buying from Craig for those rooms. I have seen the not so great reviews for Great Floors, I never anything except good experience while in their showroom. Everyone from the minute I stepped in the store was very friendly. Please if you go there please ask fro Craig. He is off on Friday and Saturday's I think. I gave his card to the disaster recovery company we worked with. Craig is not pushy, knows his stuff and really awesome at customer service. I have never felt bad about not buying from a company before. He was very kind and understanding..though he lost a sale only because the product was no longer available to Great Floors. Our initial meeting with Laura Lee at Great Floor couldn't have been better. She was friendly, knowledgeable and really listened to what we needed. We left with multiple carpet samples, an appointment for measure and a timeline for installation. Perfect customer service. read more

The installers did a great job; however, we were disappointed with the inconsistent pricing by the sales/manager staff (quoted A in store, called back 30 minutes later, quoted a higher B price and was told it was only "pennies" higher because he talked to his "manager" and the pricing had to change, the price difference was not pennies....); Also, be weary of the complimentary home measurements. If you are young (under 35) or have any questions, you may be treated with disdain (based on my experience). I could have done "length x width" = area, I was under the impression that someone who would answer a few basic questions regarding flooring options: estimate sq ft of the home, where certain areas can have laminate, title, carpet or hardwood installed. The gentlemen was in an out of our home in less than 30 minutes. Due to our time constraint and need for flooring, we scheduled the installation. Thankfully, we had them complete only one room. I just hope Great Floors pay their installers well, because those guys work hard and were professional. read more
