Granite Transformations of North Phoenix did a fine job of changing our blue tile and grout kitchen counter tops to a seamless long lasting composite counter top without demolition. We visited their franchised work/store location in the Scottsdale location, and were comfortable to choose the style and pricing we were hoping for. The install was performed by "Tino" who showed up on time and was dedicated to give us the best of his work. It was not the easiest of projects because the old tile was so uneven, but he made it right and cleanup was never an issue. I'm a three-time customer. We did 2 bathrooms and a kitchen separately. I like the product as they can often leave your existing countertop underneath to avoid putting it in the landfill. Saw an ad on TV about this place and thought I would check it out...Tony came out and explained their process and their product. I put down my down payment and eagerly awaited my installation date. Template day - they came out on time and took measurements and created the templates for my new countertops. Installation date - Two guys came out Jaime an Renso to install the new countertops. They took great care of protecting my cabinets and existing appliances by covering them up. The first day they got most of the kitchen installed with the new countertops. The second day they finished up the backsplash and caucking around the countertops and backsplash. They also had the plumber come out and install my sink. I just don't understand why everyone doesn't give GT five stars. We have had their product in our kitchen for many years and it still looks beautiful. Today we had our bathroom counters replaced and from the day we put the order in to the install today we experienced courteous , professional service. Our material had to be shipped from Australia and Erin the office admin. informed us on every step of the way on when it would arrive and be installed. Today we found that our valves to the three sinks were bad and their project manager came right away and installed new ones free of charge. Tino our our installer was very polite and experienced. Beware of these people! Signed contract and gave sizable deposit Nov 10,2022, told delivery in Jan. one custom cabinet and lots of countertops. They came in mid-December to do measurements and that person said it was a good thing he came to remeasure because the depth would have been too short. Feb 3,2023 I called salesman looking for update and she said two weeks. Then she texted and said maybe sooner, she'd let me know the next day. Heard nothing further. March 9, I called office and asked for the manager and was told she was out of the office. I left a message for them to call me, I was very unhappy and going to call Sonoran Living to tell them my experience if they did not call by March 10. I really hate to do business like this, so I waited to call again March 14, no one from Granite Transformations available again, so I left the message I was prepared to take stronger measures. no call until 3 PM the next day. Now they want to come out to measure on the 20th and install same week - I'm not interested in some half ass job for the amount I paid.. I said if you haven't even started on them cancel the order-he says they have my material so I will have to pay a restocking fee. if they had my material, why aren't my countertops done. Why didn't anyone call me about the delay? supposedly the hold up was my custom cabinet in a separate room. Really then why didnt they call and offer to install countertops and finish when the cabinet wasdone? read more

Summary: High $$$, delayed service, I felt blamed, and have a layer of dust in my house. Frankly I was Under-whelmed. For the $$$ price being quoted (thankfully I said something and they were open to working out a deal) the counter options & sink options I was given were limited and when it was finally (more on that in a minute) installed it was even LESS impressive than I had hoped. It was thinner than I had imagined and looked like any random plastic counter top. The cut corners feel unpolished and they did final cutting and grinding inside the house leaving debris underneath and a cloud of dust that I could feel breathing in from the other room. My sink was delayed in shipping and i felt blamed for the delay. The scheduled install was agreed to start on a Wed and since it wasn't ALL ready they postponed their work - even on areas that were all ready and waiting- they waited for another day. They said they didn't have the extra guy needed, which sounds like poor planning, and blamed me for PART of the job- under-layment board & sink- not being ready. They were going to charge $700+ to put the board underneath for the counter to go on top of (hope depot was going to provide a thicker counter and not require an board underneath), and price of the counter still included the area cut out and removed for the sink. (thankfully I saved some money on the sink.) Sink options were limited which is why I ordered my own. read more

We had issues with Granit Transformation of North Phx. From the start ee had issues. Our kitchen eventually got completed after calling them daily. It took over 6 months, numerous unanswered calls and messages. We were lied to numerous times. We kept getting the run around. I had to keep calling as well as the headquarters. Always an excuse, we were excited when we were told material was in. Sure they delivered the wrong material. I would never recommend this company to anyone. read more

Overall really good product, as an afterthought I don't think I would do the white sink due to repetitive staining, very hard to keep clean. Literally everything scuffs it and or stains it and I have to use bleach and water and a scouring powder to get it out. Love the counters, semi-porous can be prone to rust stains if allowed a little difficult to get out but they will come out. I think the cost and quality is definitely worth it, the installation professional was really good dealt with my overly intuitive 3-year-olds very well LOL. They did quote me one price and came back at about $600 higher due to an unanticipated material need, I guess it was measured incorrectly. But that wasn't really a big deal. read more

Yelp, won't post this review on this company, and if you look at the company it's self they only post the 4 and 5 star rating. This company is really bad. I don't normally write anything on companies, but I don't want anyone to go through what my wife and I had to go through, and it seems like no one cares. BBB can't get this company to respond to them. I wanted to provide an update, to my post. but not here. After over a year waiting for them to do our Kitchen, this happen, just icing on the cake. Update job finished, said I wanted to talk to someone before paying final bill, week later someone called telling me that I had to pay the bill now, I said can I talk to a manager, they said they would have someone call tomorrow, I got called it was from their collections department, 1 1/2 weeks after they finished the job. Terrible company, we can't get a hold of them, but sent us to collections, because they don't want to talk about how bad they did. Oh and BBB can't get a hold of this company either. One star and only because I can't give them a negative star rating. simple refacing of 22 cabinets took almost 9 months to complete. First install didn't have the right color trim or all the doors. It took multiple calls and filing a complaint with AZ ROC to get them to actually respond and kind of complete the job. I say kind of because they still missed some of the molding at this point I have given up literally the worst service available. The Installer did his best and worked with what he had but as far as the rest of company avoid at all cost I am not sure they can complete a job. This is a follow up to my previous review- everything I said was true, but I'm saying give this company a chance. the original company had high reviews and everyone who used them had good things to say. New ownership- BAM- ratings go down the tubes. when my work was finally done, I refused payment in full until I had revised bill due to specification changes, etc. No one could be bothered to talk with me. Then, I presume the prior owner took the business back. He called me on his own initiative, apologized and asked me what did I feel I owed him to get this behind both of us. I wasn't looking for a freebie, but there would adjustments and accommodations made on our part. I gave him my straightforward feelings on the amount, he agreed my numbers were very close to his own and we settled up right then. Total disappointment. Never dealt with such a terrible business such as this one. Sales person was at our home on March 17th and we provided Granite Transformation with a deposit. They came out and did the templates for counter tops and cupboards the first week in May. Counter top is on back order, but should be in by middle of May. Still waiting on an update. Cabinet refacing was scheduled for last week and no one showed up. After several attempts of trying to talk to a person via phone, I was told that the cabinets never got ordered. They would call me back and let me know what was going on. I am still waiting for the call back. Tried calling again today but no answer, voicemail. Tried calling the sales person, no answer. Sent an email, no response. At this point, I just want my deposit back and never deal with this company again. read more

Read your contract carefully! Pretty deceiving sales process. We called Granite Transformations after seeing them on local TV; we have a new spec home where the kitchen island made of quartz needs to be changed due to a defective product, so we thought using their technology to "cover" the island vs. completely changing it will be great. Shaun (a salesperson) visited us, and he was very professional and well-spoken; he showed samples for the island and stone sink, and we discussed a backsplash. We selected a beautiful white color with veins for the island and received the bid; we were looking at another contractor, so we didn't respond to them right away, and they offered a big discount, so we decided to sign with them. Before the installation, someone came for the exact measurements of the island and asked if we were told that the island would have a seam given that, due to design, would be pretty visible and would ruin the looks of our kitchen. NO! We were never told of that. Otherwise, we will not select Granite Transformations and will NEVER select a design that is a vein with a seam in the middle! We called the office, and it was a back and forward between the Regional Lead - Thomas, Sean, my husband, and I. Sean LIED and said, "I did tell you; I have my sales speech and repeat it as a robot, so I know I did," Thomas said, "the seam is in your contract; you should read your contract. I always do". Sean: Don't you think that if your client has a beautiful island would like to know if it has a seam that will ruin the look? Don't you think the right thing to do is explain in detail or suggest a different design? Unfortunately, it was in the contract, and we missed it due to the deceiving sales process and lack of information; we fell for it... they were not willing to take off back the island. We ended up paying way too much for the backsplash and the sink they didn't accept back. We have a case of split personality: the professional and polite salesperson vs. the cynical and rude contractor! On top of that, my husband called later to ask if we could return the sink (they charged double of the cost with a retailer). A nice lady at the office said yes, so my husband took it back, and the next day she emailed us and said she accepted our return but will NOT be paying us back! Seriously you can't make this up; it is crazy to believe you will give back a USD 1,000 sink for nothing. We thought they would do something right, and we were just blown away by this company! The very next morning my husband pick up the sink. Sean, you lied, and you know it, you shared you are buying a new house; karma exists, so maybe you should take care of your clients and be honest. The only great experience with them was their contractor, who installed our backsplash; Chris was very professional and did a great job. We would love to work with him, but we DON'T recommend Granite Transformations; this has been our WORST experience with a contractor! read more

From the time we started our kitchen project to the end it took 6 months where it should had been 1 & 1/2 months. We were frustrated that the front desk customer service did not relay our messages nor called us back. The lack of communication was very frustrating to say the least. We had called the corporate office and talked to them two times, never to hear back from them. Many calls were made to managers that were not returned. What we ordered and what we got were not the same thing. We paid a lot of money for countertops and cabinets to be refaced. In the end of this ordeal Dawn was the only one who did make it right with us. We do like the looks of the kitchen however, we can't really recommend this company because of all of the issues we were put through. read more

In March 2023 I started with Hailey our design and salesperson. She was very good and attentive to our needs and was the ONLY one who was that way. After signing and obtaining a 55K loan through their financing for a complete master bath gut and remodel, we had an initial inspection then told work should start within 2 weeks, also stated on our contract. Well after 5 months with no work started and no call backs to messages, as Hailey was now on maternity leave, my husband drove to the Scottsdale location to find the business shut down and empty. Lucky a vendor was there also trying to deliver tile and had some staff phone numbers she called. Spoke to a Brian, not sure of his position, he stated he was told to clean out the building yesterday, a Sunday, and "a bad deal between owners of Aesop Gables and Granite Transformation. They can't agree so they are parting ways, and my job is to call hundreds of people like you to tell you no work will be done, try and get your money back." This was absolutely shocking. We immediately called the Better Business Bureau, AZ Contractors Board, and the loan company. Here we are today, my loan was investigated and thanks to the AZ Contractors board, REVOKED Granite Transformation license and found Aesop Gables had no license at all to do any work in AZ. These owners did not even have the decency to respond to the AZ Contractors boards multiple requests. Proves how guilty they are. My loan was cancelled, now waiting for the refund of the payments I made. The AZ Contractors board really fought for us and resolved this quickly, they are the true heroes here. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING, not trustworthy and the Owners didn't even have the nobility to call their customers themselves. They claim to take pride in what they do, but do NOT take accountability for putting hard working homeowners through this. Shame on you. And I have read tons of your reviews, please don't copy and paste the same repeated message you replied on everyone. It is not even real it is the same message over and over, again shows how much this Owner really cares about his business and his customers. read more

I had all counter tops done 14 years ago and one bathroom redone 10 years ago. The job was done right, on time nd they still look great! Due to flooding, I had t have the same bathroom redone in 2020. This time they did a sloppy job with trim work and never came out to correct it. They also caused damage to a mirror and it took 8 calls and 5 months for them to fix it. They never cleaned up the trim problem. They had my kitchen cabinets redone with a "lifetime guarantee" but they started to chip after 4 months. They sub-contracted with "Frontline" but they both had the same guarantee. I called Frontline directly for 3 months but got no response. I then went to Granite Transformations to honor their warranty. A rep came out, took pictures and agreed that the cabinets were a mess. This company has changed ownership numerous times in the past several years. Apparently, their warranties mean nothing as there is no corporate oversight. It has been over 6 months since Granite Transformations said they would fix the cabinets and they know I will not go ahead with the second bath remodel until this is done.
