If you like to wait and wait and wait some more, go with Diamond. If you actually want customer service and quick and accurate order processing, go somewhere else! Diamond has a good mix of quality at budget prices and mid-range cabinets. It is great that you can order from one place and get cabinets, counter tops, and the plumbing. The installers from Diamond have been pretty good on the two times I have used them. The problem is all in the sales/order process. We used Diamond 3 years earlier for a condo, but this time around has been terrible at every step. The first sales person didn't listen, the drawings didn't match our intentions, and there were more cabinets than we had space for. This person would not adjust or clean up the design, just kept asking for the order deposit and said it would get fixed later. We starting shopping elsewhere. Later learned this person was fired as we were not the only customers struggling with this person. OK, that can happen. The next sales person was great in the design phase. We cleaned everything up in the order and thought we were all good. The last question came by email and we happened to be driving past the store on Tatum, so we went in person, answered the open question and expected we were all set. Four weeks later the sales person contacts us asking why we haven't answered this outstanding question and we find out the order was never placed. They claimed to accelerate it, but it really was another five week wait. When our order was delivered, it had all the right parts, but not all in the right color. We ordered white in the laundry room and wood tone in the kitchen and bathrooms. They shipped one kitchen upper and one lower as white like the laundry room! Guess what, the best Diamond can do is tell us to wait 5 more weeks to get the right cabinets. They did the install, and installed the white base cabinet in the kitchen so we could template for the counter tops, and said they would set the counter top on that white cabinet but not use adhesive and then swap in the correct base and have the cabinet installers adhere the counter on that cabinet when the cabinet shows up. No rush to fix the mistake, no real concern for the customer impact. just more waiting. I wouldn't use Diamond again and really, neither should you...unless you like waiting and being treated poorly for a purchase as a big as a luxury car. read more

I was very impressed and very happy with Diamond. The sales person was excellent and a few others who covered for him when he was out were just as good. The whole process exceeded my expectations, with one exception...and the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars. We purchased stained cabinets. My father sold real, solid-wood furniture his whole life, so I understood all the disclaimers about wood matching, "natural product", etc. However, the doors on the lower cabinets were a very different color (see photos). I contacted our sales person and he immediately ordered replacement doors. The issue, they came in exactly the same. They totally mismatched the cabinets. We had other who saw them and noticed it instantly. So, I highly recommend them, as long as you keep with the painted and not stained cabinets. read more

I was referred to Diamond by a friend who had a great experience with them for her kitchen. My experience was every bit as great! The design process with Chris and Randy was so much fun and I'm thankful to the team for letting me continuously walk around the store, change my mind, add stuff at the last minute, and just keep me informed overall. Even rescheduling my install (I had some additional drywall work that needed to be done) was very easy and only delayed me by 2 weeks. I went to their showroom on Tatum, to discuss remodeling my Bathroom and Kitchen. Their sales person was very knowledgeable and detail oriented, so I really liked that. Continued to look at the details of what they offer, how the pricing works on different levels / tiers of countertops and cabinets. I learned about the process, where step 1 is you measure and take pics, bring that to the store. Step 2 is where they sit down and put all that in their system and you get an estimate, and step 3 is where they send someone for final measurements, after which you sign the contract. The process great so far. Now comes the terms of contract, and this is the very scary part for any customer wanting to use them. They require 50% upfront and their dates, 8 to 12 weeks are "deemed approximate". That part I totally get and NOT scary. Now for THE scare part. When I asked the sales person, what happens if it is delayed to 36 weeks, do I get my 50% back, and guess what the answer is "we are tracking really well to the 8 to 12 week delivery. please see our google and yelp ratings". OK, but what if it actually gets 52 weeks late, then do I get my deposit back? The answer is shocking: there is no answer, just a shoulder shrug and the repeat of above statement on their track record. I asked to look at a sample contract, and they have language for performance on client side, e.g. if client is delayed in payments, 18% interest will be charged to client and also their right to sell the parts, but there is no performance guarantee written down into the contract anywhere. While I understand that they have amazing ratings, been in business for decades, and they don't mean at all not to deliver, but if they are unable to deliver, there should be language in protecting the customer's 50% deposit. The sales person asked me if that is a deal breaker, so the sales person asked their manager, if there is an answer to a time, by which if DKB is unable to perform, they will refund a customer deposit, and the answer was still "No, we cannot write it down, but please trust us, it doesn't happen". Contractually speaking, DKB could indefinitely hold your 50% deposit, and short of taking legal action (which is a lot of headache and fees), you will be at their mercy on how they decide to work with you. I'm not saying here or pointing out any Mal-intent on their part, but rather that the contract has no protection for the consumer for their delays. So my advice to anyone looking to start a project with DKB, ASK those questions, and get something in writing to protect yourself. A contract should be well balanced, where the consumer is also protected. read more

Randy Smith helped me get everything ordered and laid out at the showroom. He answered all my questions and worked with me on ensuring I was getting what I wanted and understood how things would go together so I got exactly the aesthetic I was looking for. Ryan G came and did the install. He was friendly, on-time and he took the time to go over everything with me again. He made sure that the pulls and knobs I had ordered were placed on the doors and drawers just the way I would like and gave me some very good advice on that too (which was much appreciated!). This is our second kitchen remodel using Diamond Kitchen and Bath. The first remodel (11 years ago) went very well, was timely and the cabinets and counter were exactly what we wanted. This time around it was completely different. We were told no later than 12 weeks for cabinet install, however we are at the end of 19 weeks and have experienced quite a few delays and problems. Paying 50% deposit was fine, but then paying the remaining 50% upon delivery of cabinets (and the largest cabinet was on back order), left us with no recourse if anything went wrong or if cabinets weren't installed properly. DKB has received all the funds and can finish whenever they get to it. Countertop backsplash was not done correctly first go round. We waited an additional 3 weeks for the installer of cabinets to come back when the back order finally arrived and because the countertop was not correct, another cabinet could not be installed. One side of the countertop does not go over the cabinet but meets at the end, it is not the proper look and is different from the other cabinet sides. I asked about it when they installed and they said "oh no that is how it is supposed to be". Not real happy with the caulking job either. Time frames for the contractors is a 4 to 6 hour window, so don't plan on going anywhere. Now the countertop contractor is here to finish the backsplash but the cabinet installer did not cut the trim on one cabinet for the backsplash, "oy vay", countertop contractor is able to fix that so we don't have to wait for one more correction. The whole experience has been frustrating and time consuming. The almost finished kitchen looks mostly nice and I like the design but this was far different from our first experience and my sister had her kitchen (similar to ours) remodeled recently using a different company, start to finish in 6 weeks with a final inspection where every concern was addressed. Worst possible experience, save yourself the heartache and go elsewhere. Mismeasurments, cracked cabinets, mis-hung doors, shoddy trim and on and on and on. Zero customer service, asked the Tatum store manager Randy to come out to assess the issues and we were told that when the reordered cabinets arrived they would fix everything but not before. Well the cabinets arrived today after ANOTHER 12 weeks and of course they're the wrong color, 2 doors were never even ordered at all and the slide outs don't fit in the cabinet delivered. Truly unbelievable ineptitude and awful customer service. We filled a complaint with the BBB and the district manager will come out tomorrow to see the mess that is our new kitchen. read more

They have placed an incorrect slab of granite, bad and expensive mistake,but not by our part. They are very argumentative to solve this issue....won't own to their mistake. Regarding Diamond Kitchen & Bath Cabinets; if you plan on using this company, get everything in writing or at the very least and or better yet, record the entire conversation, every single time you have a conversation with anyone related to this company. They are not true to their word and if there is an issue they will blame the customer. Example, after I order my cabinets and fully stated I needed four heavy duty file cabinets, the designer ordered 4 regular deep drawers....then when my files would not fit, he blamed me for having an odd size files ...you know the ones, regular standard files that have been around for over one hundred years....hmmmm, They finally had to order larger drawer fronts and disassemble the original three drawer cabinets into two 2 drawer cabinets....I'll never know what the 3 drawer cabinets cost, they never gave me a breakdown of the cabinets. I say enter this company at your own risk. I fully expect this review will be deleted, by this company. read more

We place the order for our kitchen in nov'21 with Bill Bahling. The cabinets were delivered in mar'22 with a lot of missing pieces but they asked for a full payment. Few of the missing pieces were delivered in may'22. However, we were still missing our microwave shelf. We got a shelf soon afterwards but it was the wrong color. We were then told that we would get a new one in a few weeks but we didn't get it. We contacted Bill and he provided another ETA of aug 10th. I have tried to contact him repeatedly but haven't gotten a response. This has been really frustrating and I will not recommend this company to anyone. read more

Recently made a purchase from them for cabinets and regret choosing them. The cabinet fronts came a different color than the rest of the cabinets and though yes they got me new fronts from the manufacture, they will not replace them. This is clearly a company who does not back up the workmanship of their supplier. They have now made their manufactures problem my problem. I would avoid buying your cabinets from Diamond Kitchen and Bath unless you want the same headaches I'm going through with them. read more

Colton Swann did an absolute beautiful job installing the cabinets. Molding and quality of finish work exceeded my expectation. Cabinet quality is good and he made sure I was completely satisfied. He noticed a missing shelf and gave me no grief when I asked if a door could be replaced because of a chip. Measurements were all accurate. I was nervous paying balance in full before install was complete but feel much better. Countertop company called to measure day after install with 3 week estimated finish. Read all the fine print and dates- I missed the 3 wk countertop delay. Price vs Quality is fair. My sales guy was great- very thorough. I would definitely buy from Diamond again! read more

I had a really good experience with Diamond Kitchen. I was oriented to the process of designing my small kitchen island from Randy. He was very attentive to my preferences and helped me with picking a granite for my countertop, which he also helped waive some of the fee. He came to take measurements the very first day I went into the store. The whole process was fairly quick, and the installation went off without a hitch. The man who actually completed the installation was friendly, professional, worked efficiently, and I felt safe having him in my home. They never finished the job! I paid for the project in full when I ordered the cabinets. Then I waited and waited. When the cabinets came they were unloaded into my house reclassly. Some received damages that have never been addressed. The installer placed some crooked, the countertops were left dirty, and they never came back to do any repairs, touch-ups or trim. Nor will they return my calls or emails. What should have been a 3 day job start to finish had more than one person arrived for the install and worked for more than 4 hours has now strung on for months.
