I had been searching for a quality wood touch-up and repair service for quite some time, so I was thrilled to finally find R&R, conveniently located on the west side of Phoenix. Marc was extremely responsive, communicated well, and worked around my schedule. In less than an hour and a half, he completed all of the repairs, and the results were outstanding. The cabinets and furniture look dramatically better, and the repairs blended in so well that many of the damaged areas are now virtually unnoticeable. What impressed me most was the value of the service. R&R saved me thousands of dollars by allowing me to repair and restore my existing cabinets rather than replace or resurface them. The total cost was less than $500, making it one of the best home improvement investments I have made. I still have a few additional items that I would like Marc to touch up, and I will definitely be calling him again before the end of the year. If you have worn, scratched, or damaged wood furniture or cabinetry and are considering costly replacement, I highly recommend giving R&R Restorations a call. You will not be disappointed!

Randy was awesome to work with and the installers were fantastic. The only disappointment was a damaged cabinet during shipping had to be replaced which added time to the project. In January I found DKB on Thunderbird rd and set up a meeting with Randy Smith and reviewe'd the top Mastercraft cabinet line. Randy also explained their process and of performing all construction work (demo, hall off, installation of cabinets, installation of quartz, hook up of appliances. etc , all except electrical Which I contracted. The start to finish took a couple of weeks longer tan anticipated but the end result is exceptional. Having a one stop shop concept made communication easier and quicker. I congratulate DKB for developing a company culture that provides superior communication skills, technical skills, and employee courtesy skills. Shout out to Randy, Jed,Robert, and Rodney for their contributions in making this such a Successful project

Such a great experience, and I keep staring at my new kitchen with wonder…read more When we bought our house 7 years ago, I did not love the kitchen. It was serviceable, but the honey oak builder-standard did not go well with the grey floors. Oh well, we made it work. After 7 years in the house, the finish was wearing, and some of the drawers wouldn't stay closed; we could finally say it was time to make the kitchen ours. I got quotes from several contractors and ended up going with Dan from Better than New Kitchens for several reasons: 1. He spent TIME with me to understand what I wanted; he also wasn't afraid to make recommendations to change what I initially thought in the interest of budget and what would actually work for my needs. 2. The quote was detailed. It included all the special features that we discussed, including separate pricing for some options I wasn't sure would fit the budget but wanted to consider. In quotes from other vendors, I couldn't tell if they had actually had listened to me and they did not include all of the features and options discussed. I work in requirements myself (software) and having all of it spelled out was very important to me so for sure I knew what I was paying for. 3. Dan's passion. This guy loves his work, and you can tell. All of that came to fruition in the build. Super efficient, professional team, and my kitchen is beautiful. No surprises! We didn't just refinish the existing kitchen; we also extended the kitchen against the back of our dining area wall. This gave me an amazing appliance garage, a mixer stand that pops up from a cabinet, and way, way more storage space. Highly recommend Dan and his team.
