Jenni & Jesus helped me figure out what granite I was wanting, helped me with choosing an edging style and found sinks for me that were a heck of a lot less then Home Depot and looked just like the fancy Kholer sink I was about to drop a couple hundred on! Michael came out on time to measure everything and was very quick and efficient. Jesus arrived on time and got to work right away installing our new counters and sinks in both of our bathrooms! We Used Accent Marble and Granite to replace a countertop in our kitchen. I am sure it was a small project for them but they treated us like we were their most important client. From walking in their showroom and meeting with the salesman to the fabricators and the installers, everyone was professional and very nice to work with on this project. I had a kitchen remodel done through a Major Home store. Their prices were far to high for Granite Install so I looked elsewhere and found Accent Granite. I also got an estimate from another Fabricator that was far higher in cost. Jason came to my home, arrived early for our appointment, which I was so happy about. Jason was professional and very easy to work with, answered my endless questions without any issue. Always available by phone and Text or promptly gets back to you. I hired them for the job and they picked up my Granite, I also had a very small Island piece I wanted to be different and they referred me to the perfect remnant place where I found what I needed and saved me a lot of money. My job was delayed 6 weeks due to my change in plans with the cabinets and Jason was very easy and had no issues with the delay and storing my Granite. Michael came to my house for templating and was very helpful and pleasant. My install happened yesterday 5/29/13, the kitchen layout made it a difficult job, but thru the whole process the installer was very pleasant and professional. The entire process was by far the easiest of the entire kitchen remodel. I couldn't be happier with the job they did for me. I'll definitely use them again for the bathroom remodel. read more

Let me just preface this with, Accent has been around for a reallllly long-ass time. Yes, that is a technical term. I remembered them from a remodel my mom did when I was in high school, that's how long they've been around. I decided to call them for a quote when I grew up and bought my first home. I basically set up at least 8 quotes in one day for everything from paint to new counter tops. I had a lot of men in my house that Saturday (heyyy). Anyway, my biggest fear as a single woman was getting screwed over. I don't really look like the kind of girl who knows anything about construction ... and that is because I don't. The whole reason I decided to get a bunch of quotes was because I had no idea what to expect price wise. If any single ladies are reading this and remodeling their first home, this plan worked out really well for me. I pretty much asked everyone I knew for a recommendation and called that company for a quote. Or you could just look at it as if I've done the vetting for you. You're welcome. In the end, Accent Marble replaced a very scary and dated laminate wood counter top in my kitchen. You read that right. Laminate. Wood. It was easy. I told them what I wanted and they helped me find it. Accent wasn't the cheapest nor the most expensive quote ... they were like the Goldilocks of quotes, just right. I am all about paying a fair wage/price for the work being done. I don't want a hack-job and I don't want to be suckered. You can't even believe what a difference new counters made in my kitchen. It was the first upgrade I did. They also suggested I make my over-sized counter slightly smaller to reduce the price, since the horrid counter that came before was so big it would need extra support once I upgraded to marble. I decided to go with their suggestion and I don't even notice the fact that it's slightly smaller. I appreciate it when the company you hire looks out for you like that. And lastly, none of the guys that came to my house creeped me out. Huge plus, as that can't be said for all the companies I contacted. read more

I recently used Accent Marble & Granite to replace my old Corian countertops in the kitchen. They definitely came through for me and my kitchen now looks awesome. Jan in sales was very patient with me and showed me several options for the Quartz counters I had in mind. Pricing was competitive and they stuck to the schedule we agreed on (despite the corornavirus challenges). While I've done prior kitchen remodeling projects before, those usually involved replacement of existing cabinets. In this case, I chose to replace only the countertops and sink and I had a lot of questions about possible damage to the cabinets with removal of the old countertops. Jan did a great job and showed a lot of patience in explaining their careful process to protect existing cabinets during the replacement. I chose a beautiful white Quartz countertop with splashes of gray and black in the pattern along with new stainless steel sinks and couldn't be happier with the result. The installers were very professional and skilled in removing the old countertops - they took their time and there was no damage to any of my cabinets. The cutouts for the new sinks and for my gas cooktop were perfect. I was amazed how quickly they were able to complete the removal and install of my new countertops. Overall, an outstanding job! I finally decided to replace my peninsula with matching granite in my kitchen. A guy came out and made some measurements 2 weeks ago and was throwing around fancy terminology for granite. I'm not going to know the scientific name of Venetian Gold. I ended up figuring out what it was and updating the guy later. He tells me he found a leftover piece that should match, fit and would be cheaper since its a remnant. I go to AZ Tile and it looks a bit pale. Sure enough when I went with a piece of my granite (luckily we were going to do the backsplash and so was able to take off the 4inch border) it wasn't even close. Disaster averted. The reason for my rating is this: it took 2 trips to pick out a slab at the AZ tile, which nobody met me for either. They were very helpful and patient at AZ tile and granite which helped the process. The initial trip by the salesman was a complete waste. He measured, and thought he knew what kind of granite it was which was later corrected by myself. Another person came 2 weeks later and did a final measurement for the countertop anyway. So ultimately this first appointment was to just meet the guy that would leave my emails and messages unanswered for about a week before responding. In the process I received 3 different bids which I wasn't very confident was correctly done in the end but just wanted it done. And finally, since I knew exactly what I wanted and it was only a matter of finding a slab that matched my existing counter which I did myself in about ten days, why did it take almost a full month from the first appointment to the last?? I thought the process was very drawn out which I would have been more patient for if someone was more responsive to my emails and told me exactly what to expect and when. read more

We'd had a bad experience with another granite company in the Valley, so we were relieved when we found Accent Marble & Granite. The salesperson (believe his name was Chuck) came out and measured everything for us and walked us through all our different options and pricing. They were a little more expensive than the company we'd had a bad experience with, but with something as expensive and permanent as granite, it was more than worth the extra cost. Chuck met us out at the granite yard (On a Saturday, which was great for our schedule) when we were ready to pick slabs and helped us pick pieces that would match well. The only negative, which is why we can't give them 5 stars, was the actual install process. The workers that did the actual install were not very friendly. Obviously they're there to do a job, not be salespeople, so I don't expect that, but when you're installing a multi-thousand dollar product it would be nice to not have my questions answered gruffly. The installers left garbage (old wood from the previous install that had nails sticking out of it, as well as our old kitchen sink) on our garage floor with no explanation as to why. They dumped other unbagged garage into our container, which our garbage pick up company doesn't allow and will send out fines for. They left some sort of sticky grout or sealant on our garbage handle. They scratched and scuffed up our bathroom paint (not in counter top area... but on the opposite wall... clearly a mistake) All in all, I'd go here again for future granite needs in the area, but I'd request different installers. read more

A year and a half ago we worked with Jason at Accent Marble & Granite and I just had to finally come back and review them. Our experience from start to finish was excellent. When I met with Jason initially I thought I knew what I wanted, but he really listened to the needs of our family and how we use our kitchen and helped steer me in a different (and less expensive) direction that turned out to be perfect. First and foremost I wanted extreme durability, ease of cleaning, and a bit of camouflage so it wouldn't always look wrecked (three small kids, lots of snacks). Jason was able to recommend lots of granite slab options within our price range and sent me off to the Arizona Tile warehouse to pick one out. It took me a few trips only because I was looking for a unique slab that I really loved, without a lot of waste from a too big piece. I scoured the clearance slabs at AZ Tile as well, but found a piece I absolutely adore with really unique marbling that makes it look like a much pricier piece thatn it is. And wouldn't you know that after all that searching, it's the color scheme that Jason recommended in our initial meeting-- even though I didn't care for the tiny piece of it in the showroom. The installation team was timely and professional, able to measure and pattern during our home inspection. They installed the day after we closed on the house and only a few days before we moved in. They even did a little bar top outside with our slab remnants, even though that hadn't been in the original quote. 18 months later, the granite still looks amazing, is wearing like iron, and the color is perfect. Sometimes the camouflage is TOO good and I miss a sticky spot. Much better than the alternative though. The counter really is the beautiful focal point of the entire room. We used Accent Marble and Granite to re-do our ugly formica countertops and transform them into beautifully updated white quartz. From start to finish, all the employees we were in contact with, from Jenni the office manager, to Chris in sales and finally Omar, the CAD specialist were very nice and always responded to our questions in a timely fashion, which is really important to us. I also met the installers early in the morning, before I left for work. While I can't recall their names, both men were very courteous and easy to communicate with. There was only one hiccup in the entire process, which delayed us getting our bar top installed, but Chris was very honest and professional in letting us know what happened and keeping us updated on the ordering/delivering/installing of the new slab. All in all, Accent was top-notch and we will use them again someday to re-do our ugly bathroom counters! read more

Accent Marble and Granite recently installed 3cm Typhoon Bordeaux granite countertops and island top to replace the lesser grade granite that was installed in the spec house we purchased 13 years ago. My husband and I couldn't be happier with the outcome! We initially found Accent via routine internet search and Yelp reviews. We reached out to Chuck Knapp (sales) who impressed us with a very timely response and a detailed proposal based on the sketch and preliminary information we provided. Subsequent proposals we requested to fine tune details were turned around by Chuck in hours. Before making a final decision, we met with Chuck in person and toured the facility. They have an investment in state of the art equipment along with years of experience. We told Chuck that we had a very specific vision for how we wanted the countertop seam done and how we wanted the colorations in the granite to flow; and that It could be a deal breaker if they couldn't do it that way. Instead of saying "yeah sure" as some less ethical salesperson might say just to seal a deal, he said he needed to first consult with his craftsmen to be sure they could deliver on that promise. And indeed they could.....with the stipulation that we come to their facility to oversee and approve of the placement of the templates on the slabs. At that point, we knew we'd found a partner and not just another fabricator. And at a price significantly less than the other fabricator we were considering. Communication is key!! The research we did on this type of installation uncovered how many homeowners assumed way too much, so we assumed nothing at all. Accent not only welcomed the discussions and emails about our expectations, they incorporated all of those final details in the contract. No assumptions on anything including edge finishes, island radius, sink profile, granite cutouts, sealing and ongoing maintenance/warranty. The end result is we keep going into the kitchen to admire our new granite. The seam is possibly even better than we envisioned. Smooth, well matched and level. All of the demi bullnose edges are pristine, including one on the sink edge - a small cost that paid off in a more custom look. Not a chip or scratch anywhere. The radiuses on the island are gorgeous. The only post install concern we had pertained to the under cabinet reinforcement of our granite composite under mount sink. We'd read conflicting accounts of the best way to accomplish that. We just wanted to be sure that best practices had been followed. Chuck and Jason, the owner of the company, came to the house to check it out in person. By the time they left, we were 100% satisfied. I bring this up not as a negative, but as a big positive. I have great respect for a company who truly does understand customer service as Accent clearly does! read more

We contacted a number of firms to solicit bids, and Accent was by far the easiest to work with and the quickest to deliver a complete, detailed bid. Modifications to our specifications were accomplished in minutes and the pricing was competitive. Lots of helpful advice was provided by Chris Ferrara. The fellow who came to our house for final measurements, Michael, was articulate and raised all of the issues that we needed to address for the final installation. As soon as I found them, Accent Marble & Granite gave me the best service, start to finish. Immediate quotes, competent templating (they even added design/style input relevant to my marble choices/slabs) and the marble slabs I'd selected arrived in perfect shape and were everything I hoped for. Installation was on time, flawless and cleaned up beautifully. The installers even zipped back to the shop to recut pieces when my old vanity's back plate ripped too much of the wall to cover with the height of marble I had requested. No lost days or delay. I had perfectly gorgeous bathroom vanity tops and back plates and a kitchen island, the same day, as promised. The staff is conscientious about all aspects of natural stone, veining and how to optimize which parts to cut and use and how to put it all together with the best results.
