I first visited the showroom to buy appliances...not one person would help us. We ended up leaving and buying $23k worth of appliances at another nearby retailer that same day. When it came time for plumbing fixtures...2 bathtubs, faucets for entire home and 3 shower systems, we visited again. We walked through on two separate occasions for ideas. Each time, there was one female employee sitting at her desk - not engaging with anyone else, not on her computer...just sitting there. She didn't acknowledge us and stared right through us when we started to approach her. Perhaps I'm just a glutton for punishment, but we visited again this week to purchase all of our plumbing fixtures but left with nothing. Why? Because we couldn't find anybody willing to assist us. Not even the receptionist acknowledged us when we walked in. My husband finally approached the receptionist and said we needed sales assistance. She said she would put out a message to the team but wasn't sure anyone would answer it. After walking around the store for another 10 to 15 minutes, we left...forever. I'm not sure if employees simply aren't required to offer customer service, or if they screen potential customers based on attire -- we visited multiple times during the blazing hot summer in shorts and t-shirts. Either way, it's bad business, and we won't be back.

Unfortunately, that was where the positive experience ended. We spent approximately 5-7 minutes in the showroom looking at products on our own. During that time, we observed at least four employees walking around, several focused on their cell phones, yet not one acknowledged us or asked if we needed assistance. At that point, we concluded that the business must be doing well enough that it could afford to overlook potential customers. We left and drove across the street to Bedrosians Tile & Stone. The difference in customer service was immediate. We were greeted as soon as we entered, asked about our project, and an associate personally guided us through the showroom to help us find exactly what we were looking for. Ultimately, we purchased approximately $46,000 worth of tile from Bedrosians--business that could have easily gone to Arizona Tile had someone simply taken a few minutes to assist us. Based on our experience, I would not recommend Arizona Tile, particularly to homeowners or non-contractors seeking guidance. If customer service is important to you, I highly recommend Bedrosians Tile & Stone, where the experience was professional, attentive, and customer-focused.

I submitted an inquiry and was promptly contacted and scheduled with Cabinet Carl as my designer. He came to my house and discussed what I had in mind for my kitchen, laundry room, and bathrooms. Within a week or two I had designs back to me as well as a quote for the scope of work by room and cost of cabinetry for each room. Cabinet Carl and I went back and forth a little about the designs and met at the design center. I ordered the fixtures, sinks, tub, disposal, etc to have everything on site prior to starting. My project was scheduled for 7 weeks. I had a pre construction walk through with Cabinet Carl, Jeff, and Josh. I received a timeline of work and was updated weekly. I had a roof leak right before my project started and Josh assured me it would be fine and they would repair the drywall inside when they did my kitchen. The whole time I was in contact with Josh and Cabinet Carl. My project went great, stayed on schedule, and was completed with such quality in the work. So then I thought I think I want to do more, so I called Closet Carl. He came back to the house and went through all the closets with me and I was interested in building a closet in my office. We also discussed lighting and ceiling fans through the whole house. I had designs quickly again and got on the schedule. Everything went great and was ahead of schedule. The closets and lighting/fans were complete within a couple weeks. The office construction took another week or so. Again, I loved it all. There was just one more house project I have always wanted to do, a fireplace. I didn't know where to start, so I called to talk to Cozy Carl. He said that was also something that Classy does. So once again Cozy Carl and Jeff came over to discuss the scope of work and ideas. The design was drawn up and I got added to the schedule for a 2 week project, managed by Rick, that would finish the week before Christmas. Right before my fireplace project started I got home from a trip and had a toilet leak in one of my brand new bathrooms (the toilet was NOT installed by Classy). I emailed Clean Up Carl at 9pm and he had someone at my house at 9am the next morning. Unfortunately the leak had ruined my vanity base, so the vanity had to come out. It also ruined my flooring, so that had to be removed. They opened up the walls just to make sure there wasn't a leak anywhere else (it was a lot of water) and left the walls open for a week. Not only was my fireplace finished on schedule, but the bathroom was also put completely back together in the same timeframe. I hosted Christmas Eve the next week for 30 people and everything was all back in order. I cannot say enough great things about my experience with Classy Companies. I only got ONE QUOTE for my house. Right away I knew that they were competent, they demonstrated great communication, and that I could trust them to complete the projects without me having to be constantly present. So often I feel like I pay a premium for the kind of service that I seek, but in this case I feel like their pricing was not inflated for the service I received and the people I was working with actually CARE. I always thought that doing a remodel would be a painful process, I would lose sleep over it, I'd be upset about things, or I'd be trying to hunt down contractors who weren't showing up. The process with Classy was not stressful at all. The whole process went smooth and was pleasant. It was worth every penny to be able to carry on with my own life and career and trust that everything was going well at home. I have referred several others who had quotes from other companies and Classy's quote was the best quote for each person I referred. (Cabinet, Closet, Cozy, Clean Up) Carl is the BEST! He is great at looking at the design of a space while keeping in mind the functionality, cost, and any specifics to the install so that it all comes together nicely. Jeff, Josh, and Rick were exceptional project managers. Much of the time I wasn't home, but I did get to know Rene, Carlos, Jamie, and Parks as well. If you have ever shopped in a Best Buy for a large item, we all know the horror of the shenanigans that go on when you're ready to buy something. "I would recommend our Two Year Service Contract for 250 zillion dollars" Ugh. Pacific Sales doesn't do that! In fact, when we recently purchased a replacement stove and microwave, they didn't even ask us. Oh, by the way, the service is excellent. We setup a date for the home delivery and it arrived on time, both instances. No excuses. They leveled the stove very professionally and carted away our old one. Very nice. We couldn't be happier. And, the prices and selection were better than Lowe's, Home Depot, Sears, and every other appliance store we shopped. I guess I've run out of my allotment of exclamation points.

A designer friend suggested we look at Affinity early in our remodel process. We started working…read morewith Theresa as kitchen designer, and we enjoyed working with her over a many months long timeframe. Theresa has very good ideas, but even more importantly, she listened to what we wanted and made it happen. I have been less than decisive throughout the remodel process, but Theresa was very patient with me and the changes I requested. Where Affinity really shines is in their installation and follow up. Our installation was pushed back a little from original date, but that was okay as we still had other work going on in the house. The men installing the cabinets did an excellent job ( I did not realize how excellent until I used a different cabinet company for my laundry and master bath). There were some stain intensity variations on some of the cabinet fronts. Affinity sends out an inspector after each install. The inspector ordered several new cabinet faces to replace ones which he felt were not acceptable. The current faces stayed on until the new ones came in. Unfortunately, there were still some light/dark issues. The inspector ordered all new faces on one side of kitchen to make sure they all matched. I did not have to ask for anything; HE felt the cabinets were not acceptable. When replacement fronts came in, the installer replaced the fronts and adjusted the hinges. We love our new cabinets. They were expensive, but you are paying for the service, both in design and installation. I saved money by using a different company for my laundry and master bath, and the quality of those cabinets is very good, but the difference in professionalism and installation was night and day compared to other company

I should also mention that there were at least four or five follow up visits to fine tune, and make sure everything was meticulous after the initial installation. We went into the store and talked to Cosimo. He was easy to talk to, explained the pros and cons of different surfaces, and answered all of our questions. As soon as the product was in, we were contacted and scheduled the work to be done. The job was replacing three bedrooms with laminate, however after they pulled up the carpeting, they found two spots that needed to be leveled. This was done quickly and didn't end up adding any time to the job, they actually finished before they said they would be done, even with the extra work that needed to be done to level and grind down the concrete! Cosimo and his crew were excellent to work with and I honestly would encourage you to reach out to them if you are thinking about changing floors OR if you need ideas/suggestions!
