Granite Dude did a fantastic job with our kitchen countertops! The whole process from start to…read morefinish was easy and smooth. We picked out our counters at Aracruz, Matt went there and validated that they would work for our kitchen, then put a hold on them. He also went to the sink distributor and ordered our sink. After our cabinets were done, they came to measure the next day and we had our counters 6 business days later, which was incredibly fast! They did an amazing job matching the seams and matching our waterfall. Matt's brother also brought up that we could add the counter to the windowsill too, which we hadn't even thought of. It looks amazing though! Thank you for the excellent experience from start to finish!

We are the new owners of an entirely renovated home in which Kings Wood Creations provided…read morecabinetry. Disappointed in the manufacturing and the finish-out. The finish out in the master closet had 3 exposed 16"x16" corners with 8' lin ft. drops to the floor, which renders any storage at the top of the design useless, as anything stored could be lost forever in between the corner partitions. I reached out to Jeremy, the owner, to ask if he could make it right and cover the corners, but he defended the finish out and revealed there was originally a plan to build upper cabinets, but it was scrapped. In scrapping it, however, nothing was done to "finish" the bottom half of the design, which left 3 dead space holes in the corners. It would only have required 3 total L-shelves to cover the unconnected "lack of top shelf" corners. Jeremy refused. In addition to the holes which drop top shelf items into the abyss, the adjustability of the holes along the partitions are set to a pattern and sequence which limits the adjustability. While Jeremy specifies this is done so that it doesn't look industrial- with holes from top to bottom- it diminishes the adjustability factor entirely. On a positive note, this company did come by for a service call request to re-glue all of the material edge band on the laundry room design, which had rolled up and come unglued. However, for the lack of attention to the master closet finish out, this company receives 1 star. It could easily have been taken care of with 3 L-shelves. That's all. Three L-shelves would have left us satisfied. A simple proper completion of the design.

A couple of years ago I needed a kitchen cabinet drawer rebuilt. This company did it and did a…read morenice job. It was a well built drawer and they attached the drawer facing. They performed the job at the reasonable price of $40.00. I needed another drawer rebuilt so I went back to Jeremy. This time I'm not so pleased. The drawer is well built with good material but he didn't bother to reattach the drawer facing. His employee said that Jeremy didn't want to spend any more time on this small project which took him all of 30 minutes to do, undoubtedly, considering he had the tools, material and expertise right there. He also charged me 40 bucks for less of a job and took six months to do the job. The mistake I made was telling him that it wasn't a big rush. But c'mon, six months and three calls? The second call he said don't call me, I'll call you. Two months later I said screw this and called him. Two days later he called back saying the drawer was done. What Jeremy doesn't know that my wife and I are remodeling the house. We just spent 30 grand on three bathroom, 1300 to have a concrete patio and front walkway resurfaced and 12 grand to have all the windows replaced. We now plan to have the interior painted, wood shutters installed and the kitchen redone. Guess who isn't going to get the opportunity for the kitchen which will come to another 20-30 grand? Sounds like Natalie P. and I had a similar experience. I know what's going on. Things are busy and Jeremie can be choosy and not so responsive. I've experienced this attitude before from other contractors during this pandemic. What these guys don't think about is people, like me, and potential customers not forgetting about such poor behavior and lackadaisical treatment. Finally, my wife asked me why the drawer facing was scarfed up. . I know that I didn't cause the cosmetic damage to the wood finish. During the six months Kingswood had the drawer in their possession they were not careful handling the original drawer to which the facing was attached.

After a drunk driver ended our contractor's career at the start of our project, DKB stored our delivered cabinets for free until we hired a new contractor. Despite these setbacks and more, Randy Smith (store manager) kept constant communication and always followed through. Kevin, a 9-year technician, wrapped-up the project with the highest skill level, craftsmanship, and eye for detail. While the project took longer than expected, it was done right and perfectly.
