Cozy, friendly place to eat all you can! I love the food. Everything is good & delicious! I miss it so much! Thank God they're opening read more

My wife and I are long time patrons at this Buffet. 1st that everyone needs to remember it is a Buffet. We believe it is the best one around. Fast Forward as the Pandemic has hurt the restaurant like many, they recently re-opened and my wife and family decide we would go out for lunch and support them. This was the first restaurant we have been to in almost a year. We were seated and given a menu that we could order anything "FRESHLY COOKED" and as much and often as we wanted. The actual get up and get your own is not in play during the pandemic. We were not rushed at any point and the waiter was always nearby to take our orders and in a short time bring out our meals. They even had a cart come around with Sushi. Needles to say-we walked out FULL! If you want them to stay in business, please come out and support them more than ever. read more

Don't offend the staff, they will scold you. I went through this today and won't be going again.

Alll fresh and super delicious Asian buffet options and excellent price for clean establishment - for sure will return

This is my first time but I heard that they recently renovated. The space is really nice and felt very clean. We went for the Sunday night buffet the hibachi option is nice and tasty. They have all the typical appetizer options, and Sunday night they had some nice steak, ribs and salmon as well. A decent variety of sushi as well. They have good dessert options (loved the apple pie). read more

Let's see....for what it is and what we paid for it was great. The food was not salty like other buffets. The hot foods were hot. We definitely underestimated it. However I do wish they had more variety. The sesame chicken, spare ribs, chicken wings, etc...were on point. Like I said, for what we paid it was great. I would come back if I was up in that area. read more

Food was sub par, kids running around out of control at the food as someone with seafood allergies I get upset when I see people using a serving spoon that was in seafood then using the same on a chicken dish. You can kill someone doing that . Kids picking up food with their hands and putting it back down. Not very appealing seemed to be a low quality buffet. Don't waste your time and money read more

top value and quality you can find! Other buffet restaurants are overly salty but this place is PERFECTLY seasoned and that makes everything enjoyable. Very considerate as they focus on keeping their customers healthy. price is good, interior is newly renovated and fresh. This is a hidden treasure. clean restaurant, clean food, top value for your buck. healthier than many buffet places in Bergen county. I was shocked and delighted with joy today. Thank you Grand Buffet~~~ I feel like we will come back a lot more going forward. Can't believe I ignored this placed every time I was on Route 17 south. Long live Grand Buffet~~~ keep up the good work. Looks good, taste good, price is good. read more

The food is great and so fresh they have mixed seafood salad awesome so as the muscles are so yummy

Excellent hot and sour soup. Got variety of choices to eat from. Spare ribs to sea bass. Excellent service.

The lunch prices are very cheap for the quality of food you get. Best buffet in the area with friendly workers.

This place is amazing and keeps getting better! Huge selection of delicious dishes from traditional that you'd expect like lo mein and chicken and broccoli to curry chicken, delicious seafood dishes (cheesey crab casserole is so good, you'll keep saying yum as you eat it!) and dimsum. The hot and sour soup is among the best I've had. Then, there's the sushi rolls....super fresh and delicious with many varieties. The cleanliness of the buffet area and tables is always spotless. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Great place!! read more

Buffets are not all the same. This shouldn't be compared to a Vegas (or even AC style). It's a traditional Chinese buffet, however, now it's on some yay. I've been a fan since they opened when I was the mere age of five, and loved coming here for the lobster and cheese soufflé, doughnuts, and general Tso's chicken. All said dishes are still present and on par. The Grand Buffet has not improved by solely swank-ifying their decor and streamlining their setup. They have a larger variety of items and have added higher quality items that make up for the lack of crab legs that caused chaos in line. They now have made-to-order Hibachi, duck, and a better variety of sushi rolls. Don't worry - the soft-serve ice cream machine is still cranking out it's creamy goodness. Next time I go back I'm going to make sure I come with an entirely empty stomach and full mental fortitude to make the most of the experience. Xoxo, Fatty Girl read more

They recently started up the traditional buffet again. When you walk in, you have hand sanitizer to use. You have to wear a mask and they provide disposable gloves for you. The offerings are plentiful and fresh. In fact, they've upped their sushi offerings and the food is fresh. You wear your mask and gloves when you get your food. Each time you go up, you get a new plate. They are not quite as busy as before, probably because of the COVID effect. Nonetheless, the food is very good, if not better than before. I have to admit that Chinese buffets were sometimes like Taco Bell for my stomach. At Grand Buffet, I don't have a stomach ache shortly after. read more

I've been dining there for almost 20 years. Great food. Great prices. Very nice staff. They remodeled the interior. It's modern looking. read more

This was by far most oily chinese food we have ever eaten. And expensive too. Things we liked: Soft serve ice cream Sweet and sour sauce Hot and sour soup Good bus service Salad bar was ok. Everything else was just oily for us to enjoy. Deserts were stale. (example: I was able to bend an almond cookie without it breaking.) +1 star for the clean restaurant and bathrooms Not a fan. We will definitely not be back. read more

This buffet not only is gorgeous and has amazing food but has an amazing staff. The people that work there are so kind and likable, and the customer service is very quick. They have varying amounts of food, from sushi to noodles. I went only with my friend, but there were tons of kids there too, so I think if you are a family, this is a great place to go! I highly recommend it! read more

By far the best buffet around. Ice cream machine known to splatter you but good. Large variety refilled constantly.

If the only criteria you have for restaurants is quantity and price, then eat here. That's probably why the average score for this restaurant is so high. In terms of any other factors, this really doesn't deserve such high ratings. If you actually want food that tastes good and is even average quality, I would avoid this place. The restaurant felt dirty when I ate there, the food is all overly greasy and poorly prepared. The quality of the meats served there was very poor. The ingredients did not feel fresh in the slightest. I would only consider eating here again if I was on a very tight budget. I always feel terrible giving a restaurant such a low rating, but giving anything higher would be a sin. The employees were very friendly, which is probably the one redeeming factor. read more

Great food, great service, great deal. The food in the buffet always seems fresh and always plentiful. Every single entrée is delicious, but you have to come when they have the crab legs. The tender, juicy, and salty crab legs are the best pieces of crab I had ever had. The service is very good as well. You never run out of water, you have an unlimited supply of napkins, and they are quick and attentive to take your plate right after you get up (thus could be good or bad depending if your done). I love Grand Buffet and always look forward to going out to eat there. read more

Good buffet at a reasonable price. Came here for dinner and loved the steamed bass - which was an unique entree not commonly found in other Chinese buffet restaurants. Apart from the usual buffet dishes, there was also a comprehensive sushi selection. Our waitress was prompt with refills and clearing out the dirty dishes. While the environment and interior decoration was on par with the typical suburban Chinese buffets, the restaurant did play a very soothing, almost zen like music in the background. read more

I can say, they're best quality Chinese buffet. Very fair price, and good service. Their food quality are always good, never came out cheap. The space was good, give you a lots privacy. Not very loud, very friendly waiters. read more

I visit this place at least 5 - 6 times a year. I like this restaurant because you can find here huge variety of foods that you can choose from. Fresh oysters and crab legs that's my favor. Very busy place specially in weekends guarantee freshness of food. If you are fan off seafood you have to visit that place. You can invite a couple of your friends because the prices are not that high Not fancy. They change prices for holidays weekends that's why I gave them three stars read more

The buffet is clean and well stocked with fresh food. Upon entering there are gloves to be used while filling your plate. Once your back at your table your free to eat without a mask and gloves. The food is excellent from the sushi to fried food and desserts.I spend a few days a month working in Flushing Queens which is known for its traditional Chinese cuisine. This buffet is right up there ! read more

Kids gave it 5. I gave it 4. Food is pretty good. A little oily. Big selection. We don't do much seafood, so that was wasted. Nice service.

YUM! You WILL eat too much here. Small selection of sushi - I'm a fan of the salmon sashimi personally, even though it's poorly sliced. There's also tuna, unagi, and some veggie selections. The Chinese food selection is smaller than that of Dynasty Buffet in Saddle Brook, but is all pretty good and is constantly refreshed on weekends. The only thing that doesn't seem to get refreshed quickly enough is the king crab legs when they're available. People line up, fill their plates, and clean it out immediately. If you're not prepared to be aggressive, don't plan on having any of them. Great soup selection, lots of veggie and seafood choices along with the chicken and beef varieties. There are quite a few American-kid-style choices (pizza, chicken nuggets, fries, donuts, etc.) if you're with a kid who's a picky eater. Great dessert options too, although I thought my brother was going to cry when they didn't have the world-class cheesecake anymore. Soft-serve ice cream, mouse, cookies, bananas in this sugary stuff, cakes, etc. Service is good - servers are available for refills (free on sodas), to take away plates, etc. However, you may have a sizeable wait on popular nights with a rather surly hostess screaming out numbers to the crowd that fills the tiny lobby area. read more

Clean, great service, and above average food. A great first time visit for us. The grub was replenished and refreshed regularly, which is always appreciated in places like this. The plates were cleared and beverages were refilled upon leaving our table to grab some more food. The hot and sour soup was very good, brimming with white pepper and vinegar. Similar places would do well in taking some notes on how they do it here. Nicely done, read more

Not bad. I enjoyed my meal. Although it was a bit greasy and cold. I did walk in at an odd hour, however. There's not much else within walking distance of the dealership I went to, so I didn't have much of a choice. I'm glad I stopped in, though. I'll be back, when I'm at the dealership again. read more

Not all that grand... Decor/Atmosphere ** CFL lighting, dated fixtures and furniture gives the feeling of of being in a Chinese diner. The crowd is mostly seniors and large families. Service *** It is a buffet so there is not a lot to rate but we were greeted quickly and everyone was very friendly and nice. They never really let anything get too low on the buffet. Food ** The buffet has just about all the standards. Some are surprisingly good others decidedly bad. Overall it is basic take out chinese. The self serve ice cream is an adventure (splatters). Value ** At first I thought $15 for adults, $8 for U12 and $6 for U5 was great but the more I thought about it the less I was impressed. When we go out for Chinese my kids usually split a dish so the cost is comparable and the food is of much better quality. Overall ** Kids loved it as they could walk around and pick and choose, I am a little harder to please. read more

If I remember correctly, they were one of few buffets that started serving crab legs 15 years ago. Now their crab legs are like mosquito legs size. Very small buffet with very limited items. Nevertheless, whatever they have on the buffet is cooked pretty decent. Along with the relatively low price, I give it 3 stars read more

I took my daughter on a ski trip and she loves Chinese buffets. So we went to 23 Buffet the first night and Grand Buffet the second night. Grand buffet was good, but it was a clear notch below 23. Food was mostly fresh but the selection was a little limited. Service was good and my soda was refilled several times. Overall we liked Grand Buffet but would give a slight edge to 23 if we put them head to head. read more

My husband and I were regular customers before COVID turned the world upside down. We absolutely loved this place. And finally they are open for dining-in again! We went back today and were so happy to find that the quality has stayed the same. Instead of going up to a buffet you pick what you want off of a menu and the food is brought to your table. You can order as many things as you want, as many times as you want. The service was great, as always, and the food was just as delicious as we remembered. And the price is extremely reasonable - for two people (all-you-can-eat plus two sodas) the total (including tax) was under $28! read more

jack of all trades but master of none. It has so much different selections but it doesn't really stand out in any item. My favorites are the chicken and broccoli, sesame chicken, cheese wontons, and the donuts. I do have a soft spot for this spot because my family grew up on this place and this is where my parents would treat us growing up. It's also for some odd reason my dads favorite place in the world which makes me like it more as well. Lunch is 10 dollars and you can't beat that price to be honest. read more

The long wait is finally over. Grand Buffet re-opened today and is back in business. We were among the first group to have lunch there today and they did not disappoint. They have completely re-modeled the place and it now has a fresh, more modern look. They have also added an all you can eat hibachi. I tried their sesame chicken and vegetable noodles and both were delicious. They have added pork chops to their dishes and they were out of this world. The egg drop soup and steamed pork dumplings tasted great. The hibachi is new and the chef has yet to get the seasonings down right. However, I was maybe only the second or third person he cooked for, so I feel he will hone his skills with time. All in all, it was a very pleasant and positive experience for both my wife and I and we can't wait to return. At $9.99 for an adult lunch, it was an excellent value. read more

A local favorite for the folks at work , I joined some co-workers on Friday for lunch. Hadn't been there in a couple of years and the place hadn't changed much. Same decor, same friendly attentive wait staff. So attentive, the minute you finished a plate, the empty dish was immediately removed and tea refilled. The buffet selection was huge (including pizza!). Tried the fresh fish and a little sushi (my first experience). Everything was fresh, when selections ran low, the staff quickly replenished. Glad I rediscovered Grand Buffet, especially the Wasabi - holy cow! That stuff will clear a head cold.If your looking for quick - we saw a couple sit,eat and be gone in less than 30 minutes. Thanks Grand Buffet! read more

Went here recently with the family. All in all we thought it was a bargain, especially on a Sunday afternoon when receiving a check for 3 for 40 Samolians !!! (I have to laugh, reading the 1-3 star reviews from "cheap arse" reviewers below with $1 off coupon issues !!!!! ) Seriously, price is a buffet for the price of 1 dish take - out food in NYC ! ? ! ? :-) If you love seafood, they had a few offerings of large shrimp and scallops offered different styles. Also a squid dish that was good. Many different chicken and pork dishes. The pork on a stick was a favorite of mine. My wife is not a seafood lover, and if there was any negative , she commented the placement of wet seafood offerings placed next to chicken and pork dishes. Personally my daughter and I didn't care and ate like kings and queens ! Fun place, keep returning, don't mind the party of 27 kids next to you enjoying it a much as you and rolling in the aisles !!! :-) read more

Excellent buffet! They tend to have lobster during special occasions (i.e. mother's day, valentine's,...etc.), which you rarely find now in other buffet places. We've been here during Mother's day and the quality of the food is pretty good. They got a person serving the lobster, which limits the amount you can take at a time. It's probably not a bad policy since some people would just pile their plate with it and leave nothing for others. Lobster was good! I had better crap legs, but still not bad. Their duck was also really good. Generally, all the food was fresh and good quality. All in all, it's one of the best Chinese buffet around the area. read more

OK food. Fair price. Expect average food and you wont be disappointed as it is consistently average. If you have little kids who barely eat you won't feel that you have wasted a lot of $$ as kid prices are quite low. Good service. My wife loves this place, as does her family, so I am here 10x a year. If i was a despot we'd probably be here once a year. read more

Grand Buffet - Exterior at night. - Buffets Near Me - Ramsey, New Jersey

Been coming here for years and will continue to. Prices are very reasonable, especially for lunch. Monday-Thursday lunch will run you $8.99. Friday-Sunday is $10.99. The selection of food never disappoints and they have plenty of the obligatory crab legs during the dinner session. For lunch, they occasionally have craw fish...if that is your thing, go at them. Even though it must be terrible for you, I am a huge fan of the apple pie dessert. Warm apple pie slices with vanilla soft serve is a great way to cap off a meal. Restaurant is clean and inviting. Enjoy it. read more
