Super tasty food and worth the wait! You have to order before you sit. I got the southwest burrito naked and my boyfriend got the French toast breakfast. You could tell they took the time to prepare both of our meals, they were delicious. Definitely one of the best breakfast spots in the valley! I got some "prime" rib take out for an anniversary dinner; had done this before a couple/few years ago and the prime rib was excellent. The price on the online menu (which is just photos of apparently very old menus - not digital) was $22.95 but when I picked it up the price was $31.95 (that's over 30% more! isn't that the definition of bait and switch?). I should've just said forget it at that point but I had a craving for what I remembered to be very good prime rib (and had it been good, I wouldn't have even complained about the price change). I don't think it was even choice rib, much less prime - it was like a hockey puck and we literally had to saw thru it. We ate very little of it so it ended up being very expensive dog food (at least they loved it!). There are good meals on the menu - they make excellent breakfast burritos - but the prime (or not) rib isn't one of them. I felt ripped off and disappointed enough to post my very first online review of a meal ever. read more

Love this place. Everything here is delicious. I love that I can call an order in and pick it up through their drive through too. Makes life so much easier to get a good meal on the go at a good restaurant while I shuttle my kids around town. Their ice cream gets 5 stars too, so good! read more

This place is a wonderful contradiction. When you walk in it's like stepping back into an old western movie so I was surprised to see such a sophisticated menu with things like Asiago crusted chicken with pesto pasta and blackened prime rib salad with goat cheese. I settled on a colorado cheesesteak and added jalapeños because I'm a total sucker for two things - a good cheesesteak and chick-fil-a (more on that later). They have really great options for no extra charge to have as your side. I settled on sweet potato fries. The cheesesteak was delicious. Great flavor and melted cheesy goodness. The bun was toasted to perfection. The sweet potato fries were pretty salty but decent. Service was very prompt and friendly. read more

Unfortunately this was a bad experience in more than one way. We had made reservations on a Friday night for 6:15. First frustration was the difficulty finding parking. When we went in we were seated on the patio. It was 38 degrees outside. The patio was covered in plastic but not sealed well. It was so cold we were never able to take our coats off. There was an outside heater on the patio but we were at the furthest table from it and could not feel any warmth. We ordered calamari appetizer. It was tasteless and crusty. There was only was one server and she nice but too busy to provide good customer service. I ordered the prime rib salad. When it finally arrived it had little chunks of over cooked prime rib. I have eaten wraps here for lunch and they were good but entres were very disappointing tonight. read more

Let me start out on a positive note. The food was absolutely delicious. The service was unnecessarily prolonged. It took us 35 minutes after ordering to receive our meal. What's worse part is, it was no where near capacity to have such a delayed response. The bloody Marys are consistently awesome. Was going through Eagle on Saturday and stopped in for something to eat. This place is very unorganized & unprofessional. Our waitress was a lady in her late 30s or early 40s with dark hair. I don't know if she was drunk or on pills or what the issue was but clearly she was not "all there". She screwed up every order at our table and it took forever to get our food. There were tables that ordered after us getting their food so im guessing she forgot to even turn our order in for awhile and thats why it took so long. This place is definitely a never again for us. Stopped in last night with the family for dinner and gotta say the jalapeño poppers were the best I have ever had. Prime rib was spot on and the wife's chicken fried steak and it was huge. Let me start off by saying that the prices are typical mountain tourist prices, but the FOOD was well worth it!!! Holy cow, those were the best fish tacos I've ever had in my life! In fact, it's been weeks since I visited them and I'm still looking for a restaurant that can match them in fish tacos (heads up, I haven't found it yet). The food here is great. This is a post about the staff specifically the bartender who violated the Ada Law My family brought in our service animals and the staff was VERY RUDE about it. We could hear them talking trash in the bar. Talk about unprofessional! The dogs were NOT causing a problem. They were quiet the entire dinner. Not to mention we had all of the correct paperwork. The dogs have their vests. The dogs do not look like traditional service dogs as they are very small, but they do help the members of our family who need it. I don't know what this woman's problem was other than she couldn't visibility see anything wrong with us. *~ Just because the disability isn't apparent (like blindness or deafness) doesn't mean it doesn't exist. ~* I wanted to walk out but we had already ordered. The food here is consistently good although the prices have really gone up. This IS NOT your spot if your looking for brunch & cocktails as it is common to hear the short hair manager lady yell at the bartender not to make strong drinks. Which brings me to the root of the issue for this restaurant, service has really gone down hill! I am guessing this has to do with the way the female manager treats her employees. It is common to hear her frequently screaming and cussing at her staff while you are trying to eat your meal. This is a good place to come if you have to do anything near the airport. It's only about 5 minutes away. It's warm and cosy inside which is nice and inviting. Problem is that the service isn't very good, food takes forever to come out, and the food isn't really worth the wait. It's nothing special. The margaritas say that they are fresh lime (they are not, they are made from a mix) and I suspect that the food they use is pretty processed. My ribs were dry, mashed potatoes were cold but my friends that ordered the burgers were really happy. So maybe stick with that. read more

One of my favorite things about coming to the mountains are all of the locally owned restaurants like this one. This was a cute place with really good food. A group of us came here on the Friday before the long weekend for a mini celebration in honor of my cousin who was graduating from HS the next day. We started with 3 appetizers, the jalapeno poppers, artichoke dip & the calamari. Now I know when one thinks of jalapeno poppers, one thinks of the frozen kind that you get at the store. These were not even close. They were fresh, stuffed with cream cheese, and lightly battered and fried. So yummy! The artichoke dip was full of flavor and the pita chips that came with were warm and tasted fresh. The calamari was equally as good as the other two apps and went quickly. They have quite the menu here that offers a little bit of something for everyone. From fish to salads, burgers to pasta I really don't think you can go wrong. One of the specials that was offered that night was Salmon Fish & Chips. My aunt who ordered that was in heaven. I opted for a burger which was pretty dang big and extremely juicy. My mom ordered the talapia that came with a asiago crusted mashed potato cake and some other veggies. The talapia was good but that potato cake was what made the dish IMO. Our waitress was awesome, funny, and attentive. She was on top of it with water, drinks and anything else we needed. It was late Sunday we were traveling through I-70 to Denver. We got hungry so we Yelped for a place to eat in Eagle. We decided to try Grand Ave. Grill, We're glad we did. My wife had Blackened Steak Salad, ..MAN!! It was absolutely delicious!! I haven't had a salad that good in a long time, the dressing, the blue cheese crumbles, and fresh greens, and good portion of steaks on it! I had Steak with mash tater, it garnished with sautéed onions, carrots and spinach that tasted like they were sautéed in garlic, which was absolutely awesome! It all sit in some kind of Demi Glaze which has really good flavor! We all were very happy and surprised we found a gem in these parts of town!! Definitely recommend this place. It's not a fancy place, more down home, casual which was cool? It has a bar on the other side as well, Thank you for putting the love and effort to make us all such good food! :) read more

We were passing through Eagle and stopped here for dinner. It was a great experience! The menu has a lot of options to choose from. Yes, the prices are mountain tourist prices but I live in the mountains so I guess I'm used to it. We had the fish tacos which were amazing! Also very generous portions. The homemade salsa that came with it was fabulous! Our kids ate grilled cheese and dyno nuggets with fries, also huge plates which they probably could have shared and had plenty. Our server was super friendly and attentive. There is also a walk up ice cream window outside that seems to be very popular. The decor is rustic, a little dated but quaint. There was lots of outdoor seating which looked really nice but we sat inside. Clean restrooms. The only problem was that it was hard to find a parking spot. Really nice, quaint interior. Came on a Saturday morning and was surprised about how the breakfast menu was all Mexican themed. They had really good coffee. Nice breakfast place with a rustic feel inside. Avg breakfast prices with a very small food selection for breakfast. The lunch menu was a full, regular size menu but breakfast menu included Like 6 options, all of which were Mexican themed. I enjoyed my fried egg sandwich and LOVED their coffee, which is a Kona blend. My friends all enjoyed their food and we all felt the portions were a good size. Was pleasantly surprised with this restaurant. Was in Eagle with my girl for the night and decided to go with this place as reviews were good. We started out with the jalapeno popper appetizer as was great, but a little expensive for what you get. For the main dish I got the ribeye with a cajun-demi reduction and Parmesan potato cake and it was amazing! The only problem was that I had to send it back to be cooked as I like my meat medium rare and not still bleeding (I have almost never done this in my life). My girl got the prime rib, which was a special that night, and was perfect with great horseradish. Felt like going all out so got the apple crisp for desert and was a perfect ending to the night! If you are just passing through and looking for a relaxed spot, good food and great service...this is the place! Only thing I would recommend is not getting poppers as again expensive for what you get and sit outside if nice weather. This location truly deserves five stars as it blew my expectations away. In town with friends to view the aspens and trail ride. After a Long day of riding we were looking for something amazing to eat......we found it here at the grand ave grill. We got the jalapeño poppers and the ahi tuna on bruschetta, the jalapeños and the ahi tuna were fresh and very delicious. Us girls got the Parmesan chicken with the poblano pesto pasta it was to die for the guys got the prime rib and the rib eye which they found to be delicious. Then we ordered the deserts, the raspberry bread pudding was the best I have ever had, the creme brûlée was fabulous and the brownie Sunday was very resh and rich!
