We were passing through Eagle and stopped here for dinner. It was a great experience! The menu has a lot of options to choose from. Yes, the prices are mountain tourist prices but I live in the mountains so I guess I'm used to it. We had the fish tacos which were amazing! Also very generous portions. The homemade salsa that came with it was fabulous! Our kids ate grilled cheese and dyno nuggets with fries, also huge plates which they probably could have shared and had plenty. Our server was super friendly and attentive. There is also a walk up ice cream window outside that seems to be very popular. The decor is rustic, a little dated but quaint. There was lots of outdoor seating which looked really nice but we sat inside. Clean restrooms. The only problem was that it was hard to find a parking spot. My Wife and I went here for Burgers on a Friday night and it was great. Nice and big burgers and a seat by the fire. I would recommend this place for dinner. Previously, I was here for a Sunday Brunch with my parents, wife and a fair number of friends. My wife and I ordered the pancakes and a breakfast burrito and split both items. Both items were decent, but the green eggs and ham actually looked really good, so I'll probably try that next time (although maybe I'll leave out the ham). Service was good for such a large group. My mother's eggs were a little under-cooked, but the waitress replaced them quickly and without incident. (I don't think anything was comped for her trouble, but this isn't exactly Sweet Basil.) Not a bad experience, but neither was it particularly outstanding. read more

Great little place in Eagle We were in town for the CO mountain bike state finals and wanted to support a local eatery. This place was fresh and tast-y! Their jalapeño poppers are handmade and served with a nice topping of pico; also, the filling was light and creamy, not super heavy. Our server was efficient, friendly and knowledgeable and is just the kind of person you want to get. Really good salads and burgers. We're so glad we stayed there instead of going to Vail Village. I rarely leave bad reviews but it has been nearly a Week and I am still fuming angry over our experience at this establishment. We stopped here for something to eat with our children on Sunday 8/4/19 on our way through Colorado. The taller old white gentlemen ( who I assume was maybe the owner) was harassing the male server working in front of everyone. Props to the server for walking away to the back to try and keep from being yelled at in front of costumers. Sadly the owner/manager followed him and escalated the situation. You could hear them yelling at each other in the back and unless I misheard I'm pretty sure the owner threatened to take the server out back. Are you kidding me???? My children were there! THIS IS NOT A FAMILY FRIENDLY RESTAURANT or a place you want to bring your children to. I wish I would have seen some of these other reviews first and we would have avoided this place all together. I recommend not bothering to go to this restaurant! The hostile environment is enough to ruin your appetite! read more

Poor poor service and almost every time we have been in lately the lady owner is either talking badly about her staff or screaming at them. If your that burnt out you should hire a manager willing to run the place correctly or just sell! Really disapointed with this place. We have been there a couple times for ice cream and it has alwayd been very good. Unfortunately the first time we found a peanut in our milk shake. Overall, its wasnt a hige issue, but considering our daughter is allergic to peanut it was a little concerning. We decided to give it another try today. Bland food, poor service, over priced. All around a loss. I could've happily handled any of those things on their own but not all three at 7:30 on a Thursday. We had the kids mac and cheese, pork tamales, and the burrito not one of them was good. Not something we'll get sick off of but no flavor. And the burrito was hard like it'd been under a heat lamp too long. My husband and I just had water to drink and even after asking for refills were not granted them. Group of us went here for supper tonight. The atmosphere was nice, not super classy but the kind of place you can go to with jeans or dressed a bit nicer. They service was friendly quick and honest. At one point one of the people in our party was ordering something and the waiter was upfront that it wasn't their best dish. He stated the meatloaf was a very good item on their menu. Several from our group had it and they all seemed pleased. I almost with this as well, but at the last minute I went with the stuffed chicken. I have to say I'm very glad I did as it was awesome. It was stuffed artichokes. They then poured over a cream sauce and set it all atop a bed of spicy sweet potatoes. It was actually the spicy sweet potatoes which convinced me to order the dish as I really wanted to try these. They were awesome, as was the rest of the dish. Overall this was a very good experience. Food was average but not worth the wait. Despite the fact that there were empty tables we had to wait to sit so their kitchen could catch up. Wouldn't have minded sitting at a table and waiting there. Service was slow. One of my friends got the breakfast burrito which came out cold. I had the ahi tuna salad. The tuna was good but the salad was 90% shredded cabbage mix with literally three pieces of spinach thrown on top to make it look pretty. Wonderful food, wonderful service. My grandson was in heaven after eating their prime rib. I had the Prime rib salad. It was good, but nothing extra. My hubby and granddaughter had the Chicken Fried Chicken and they loved it. Their dessert is great. The only thing is they have live music. I love live music, but it's a bit too loud and you can't talk if you sit in that area. Ask to be seated on other side of restaurant. You can still hear the music and engage in a great conversation. My sister lives in Eagle and I have visited many times but for some reason this was the first time we've gone to Grand Ave Grille. I'm so sad I had never been before! It was fabulous! Great ambiance and wonderful service and the food was fabulous. I just had a chicken sandwich, but it was very tasty and the fresh cut fries were outstanding! My 8 year old niece told the waitress it was the "most awesomest restaurant ever!" Plus I thought the prices were very reasonable. Especially for the Vail Valley. This is definitely are go to place. I have a lunch date here about 3 times a month. We never skip the calamari! It's honestly one of, if not, the very best in the valley. We stopped in for dinner just after 6:00 pm on a Friday night. We were not in a great hurry but the service was so slow it was ridiculous. The waitress didn't show up for at least ten minutes after we sat down. Then it was at least 15 minutes after we finished eating before she came back and another ten minutes before she brought the check (even though she walked by our table several times). Although it was dinner hour on a Friday night, there were several empty tables in the restaurant so they weren't very busy. I almost think they didn't want us to leave so their restaurant would look more full! The food itself was good. I had the chicken fried chicken. I have been living in Denver the last couple years so I was shocked at how much this place has changed. Really what happened to this place!? It took us forever to get our food, when we did get it, it was cold! Our waitress was very rude and seemed annoyed with our questions about the different dishes on the menu. Everything about our visit just seemed chaotic and all the staff seemed in constant panic mode. Our overall experience was terrible. If I could give 0 Stars that's exactly what this establishment would receive. 1 star is being generous enough as it is. Sadly to say I will not be returning. So disappointed. read more

I have been an on again off again patron since they opened. The food has always been delicious and the patio area is great! The service overall has been consistently good, they pay attention to you and make sure you are taken care of. Have only been here once for brunch, but it was quite excellent!
