We had passed this ice cream place a couple of times and it always seemed to be packed, so we finally decided to give it a try. We waited about 15 minutes just to get to the counter and order. I went with the cheesecake ice cream in a waffle cone, and the flavor was really good, creamy and flavorful without being overly sweet. The waffle cone itself was pretty large, but surprisingly, the actual scoop of ice cream was quite small in comparison. The price is on the higher side--about $13 for two scoops--but the portions are very generous, so it still felt like a good value to be at prime tourist area and in the hot summer day. Friendly service, clean, and delicious ice cream. It's like a Coldstone, meaning you can mix toppings in the ice cream (opposed to on top). When I went to pay, the machine asked if I wanted to leave a tip (not vocally). I have always been a generous tipper, but this new thing where the machine asks if you want to leave a tip leaves me in some awkward situations. On one hand, they weren't serving me in any way. On the other hand, they did mix my ice cream (M&Ms and rainbow sprinkles). After not tipping and feeling not great about it, I asked the girl if she receives tips more or less than 50% of the time.
