This was such a treat! we were greeted by the friendliest staff that had great recommendations on what to order, and they were so nice to chat with us. The brother duo (one of them is co-founder) were a well-oiled team that served customers quickly and with great care. We got the smores-like donuts and they were delicious! SOOO fresh, you can watch them make it right in front of you. It was such a good treat to warm us up from the cold. Would definitely come back again next time we're at Copper mountain! read more

Sugar Lips Mini Donuts continues to be one of the highlights of our regular ski trips to Copper Mountain! When we're staying at the resort, we come here practically every day with our young kids. They love watching the doughnuts being made right in front of them, almost as much as they love eating fresh doughnuts with the toppings of their choice. There's an option where you can do half the batch one way and half the batch another way, which is how we like to order. We've tried some of their special toppings (i.e. s'mores), but our tried and true combo is half vanilla and half chocolate with all the rainbow sprinkles. Looking forward to visiting again next winter! read more

This place was fantastic! The guy making them was so cool! The cinnamon ones were the best!! read more

Fun donut shop in Copper village! I loved that they made the donuts right in front of you. They have a lot of fun toppings you can add. We got 14 mini donuts which can be easily split between 2-3 people. This place sells coffee too. Got a dirty chai with oat milk which was also really good. Definitely spot by if you're craving a sweet treat if you're at Copper! read more

We have PN/TN allergy and it was safe to eat. We stuck with the basic sugar topping. Don't miss out!! read more

The cutest little place on the mountain! My friends and I were staying within walking distance and we are kicking ourselves for not going in sooner! The variety of donut toppings is unreal...from different icings, to peanut butter, Nutella, and more! Not to mention, their coffee was delightful! Much better than Starbucks if you ask me. The woman working was so kind and attentive to each order. I could not recommend this little shop enough! The tastiest and freshest donuts! After a day of adventuring in copper mountain, I was craving something sweet so I decided to stop by for a donut sundae. I got mint chocolate chip and donuts with sprinkles/vanilla sauce/ and Oreo chips. I forgot the name of who was working but he was super friendly and awesome! I got a very generous scoop of ice cream I could barely finish it. If I'm ever back in copper mountain I will definitely come back! read more

I did not try the donuts, unfortunately ( I wish I had!) but this is for the smoothie and the options. I had a strawberry banana smoothie. I had some food limitations, so I asked what was in it. The woman working there was knowledgeable about it and showed me the mix they use and showed me the ingredients on the container so I could check them quickly. I was hesitant with a mix thinking it may not be very good or thick, but I ordered it anyway. I'm glad I did. This was a smooth, thick, delicious smoothie. It was filling and refreshing. It hit the spot for a fruity smoothie craving and was quick to be ready after I ordered. I would have loved to have tried the donuts, but I can say if you are craving a smoothie on the mountain, this place delivers decent ones that are worth trying. And while you're at it, get donuts for me since I didn't! :) read more

Freshly made donuts are always a hit with me! I stopped in to take a break from the daily Jack's meal and was glad I did. You can order 6 or 12 and they come with powdered sugar. But you can get a sauce for $1.50 extra I think it was? I ordered with chocolate sauce and the sugar and they were tasty. They also offer tea and coffee drinks, but I didn't try any. Oh, and they have some sundae thing that looked good, but wayyyyy too sweet for me. The inside is cute; it is like a little french cafe or something. If you're in the area, then you should check them out. read more

Such a cute donut and coffee shop. Service was impeccable! The barista was able to suggest a coffee flavor when asked.

I was in copper boarding and wanted something sweet. We stopped by here, the business is small and they only allow 5 people at a time inside (due to covid). I went with my daughter and we ordered the donuts with strawberry on top and also another ones with Nutella. The donuts tasted pretty good, my caffe latte was exceptionally delicious and my kids said the hot cocoa was pretty amazing as well. read more

Great donuts, super fresh and adorable! Employees let us take our time and explained how everything worked. Cute shop and no line.

A must visit if you are in Copper. We visited 5 times during our 1 week stay recently. The powdered sugar donuts are up there with the beignets at Cafe DuMonde in New Orleans, and the cinnamon sugar donuts are almost as good. We never tried the other toppings because those two choices were just too good that we couldn't NOT order them. My daughter also liked the strawberry-banana smoothies, and the coffee from rocky mountain roasters tastes great with the donuts on a cool morning. read more

ABSOLUTELY COPPER MOUNTAIN'S #1 "MUST DO" Being from New Orleans this gem is similar to dunking hot beignets in a frothy au lait at Café du Monde, except I actually prefer Sugar Lips because it's small and personal. As the customer behind us remarked on our first day this season "I may miss some days skiing but I never skip Sugar Lips." MADE TO ORDER MINI FRIED DONUTS (See pic). The canal style fryer can only handle a few dozen at a time so the line is slow-ish but well worth the wait. Try the traditional brown sugar cinnamon first (if you can resist the s'mores or maple bacon options) and eat them inside immediately while hot. I dip mine in a large latté or hot chocolate. A dozen (feeds 2-3) and two large coffees rings in at a reasonable $16. (oh wow this is my 500th review and it's a 5) Great symmetry! read more

How can you beat dough fried to order? Top it with delicious toppings! It's a Copper staple for breakfast or dessert. Check out the food truck often found at festivals and other local events. My personal favorite is maple bacon. read more

I would eat at Sugar Lips Mini Donuts when they attended the Civic Center Eats on Tuesday all this summer. The shop owner Jasmine made a bold decision to move to Copper Mountain and just recently got approval to open up shop mid-January. Sunday morning rolls around and after 2 1/2 hours of "glorious" traffic I needed something to make me sweet again --- cue Sugar Lips. I didn't know exactly where they were located (pretty much right near the lake) in an adorable log cabin. The store is decorated in a funky french country style that somehow works very well with the exposed logs. I ordered a dozen Nutella mini donuts with powdered sugar and a coffee. My friend and I split the donuts and drank from the same coffee (yeah we are gross like that). Not only was the food spectacular but my grand total was below $7 including a tip to the proprietor. So, if you are at Copper and in need of a sweet treat or breakfast (like me) stop in and see Jasmine. read more

Employee was super nice when we went in, the donuts were definitely worth cheating on my diet for. Will definitely revisit when I'm back.

I was skiing Copper mountain with some friends for the entire day and was exhausted. We grabbed a couple brews at the bar near the American Eagle lift, and one my friends said we had to go this donut place he tried the last time he skied. Let me tell you, there wasn't anything better after skiing 5-6+ hours that day! Knowing my sweet tooth I couldn't resist. I got the half dozen of mini donuts with Nutella, oreos, chocolate sauce, and powdered sugar. AKA diabetes but what the hell right?!
