From the moment you walk in Amber greats you with a welcoming smile. Menu is up on the wall and you take your seat after ordering. The menu is EVERYTHING you'd want on a breakfast menu including their awesome donuts. The portions are enormous and tasty as well. We ordered the biscuits and gravy and having lived in the south I have had awesome biscuits and gravy. Daylight Donuts version is enormous and so delicious along with a side of hash browns that are actually cooked to perfection. Looking for an awesome breakfast in a restaurant that is very relaxing and comfortable in design, get to Daylight Donuts but do come early. And let Amber know I sent ya.

GO HERE. GO HERE. GO HERE. Every single food item I have tried at this place has been exceptional. From their donuts to their eggs and bacon... it has this unique amazing flavor that I can't find elsewhere. Their homemade green chili is truly the star of the show. IT IS AMAZING. It is very roomy inside and I love all the decorations. I have put a few dollars on the walls throughout my years. Richard, the owner, is so outgoing and friendly. Always greeted with a smile. I told him I hadn't visited in a few years and he sat and talked to me about my family and what we were doing now. I love places that (even if they don't remember you) always treat you like a friend! I am going back before I leave!

No trip is complete until we've had a chance to visit with our friends at Daylight Donuts. This is a local place for locals which is always welcoming to polite guests. We love the outdoor option as the weather permits because the patio is dog friendly to leashed, friendly dogs. Come on bye. You won't be disappointed.

get a million of these things! They are amazing!

Awesome local place! Service was great and owners/staff was so nice! Get the sausage wrap / pig in a blanket things! Sooooooo dang good! 4.2 Overall Rating

    Sweet & savory treats

My friend took me here for my first visit and I had the best experience! Yummy sweet & savory treats with a full breakfast menu. Very welcoming staff, especially Tyler! Definitely will be returning when I come back into town. I ordered the sausage rollups (order more than you think you need, we got back in line for more!), the baked cinnamon bun (they also have fried!), and strawberry sprinkled donut. Thanks Tyler!!!

Returned for a second day in a row to pay off my small debt from the day before since I didn't have cash (and didn't realize there was a $10 minimum for credit cards) and to get more donuts, of course. We've enjoyed the Black Bottom donuts on both days, and I also added a giant apple fritter today. Everything is fresh and delicious. Service at the counter is also very friendly too. Yummy donuts at a great price and great service? What's not to like?

We stopped by twice at this donut place on our latest visit to Breck and it didn't disappoint. The donuts were fresh, soft, not too sweet and delicious. We ordered the Filled Long Johns with Bavarian, chocolate cake donuts, chocolate raised donuts, donut holes, blueberry twists, and meat pies. All were good but my favorite is the Bavarian-filled Long Johns! They also have decent breakfast meals on their menu which I tried before. The vibe was laid-back, perfect for a quick stop before a day in the mountains. The prices are reasonable. They have parking in front and at the back and they accept cash and credit cards with a minimum purchase of $10. Bonus: they offer a military discount, which is a nice touch for those who serve. Do come before 9 AM to get the more popular donuts. It's definitely worth checking out if you're in town!

Yes yes yes!!!! We were so happy to have found this breakfast spot. It has an advantage of being one of the places that is open early. Seeing that we were on east coast time that really helped. Parking in the back gives you an hour of parking They offer a full breakfast. I had the breakfast burrito on my first visit and on a different day the breakfast quesadilla. Both of them came with a side of hash browns and some black beans. The salsa on the side was wonderful. I asked for my hash browns to be extra crispy and they delivered. The donuts are a big draw. If you have a sweet breakfast tooth then this place will rock your world. The service was so friendly everyday. I enjoyed this place so much I actually bought a t-shirt. We also went there everyday of our week long stay.

Great donuts in Breck and the only place open at 6 am!

great donut, coffee and breakfast spot in Breck! Opens at 6:00 am, which is good for those who are early risers and visiting from the east coast. Prices are reasonable and the vibe/decor is eclectic. Conveniently located downtown, within walking of all of the main restaurants and shops. Donuts are terrific but don't sleep on the other breakfast options including breakfast sammies and pancakes.

We came a little later in the day so the donut selection was pretty slim. We got the maple and jelly filled donuts and the daylight platter! It was all very delicious. Their bacon is cooked to perfection, the pancakes were fluffy and warm and the donuts were delicious. There's plenty of searing, fun decor on the walls and everyone seemed happy to be there. If you order coffee or a fountain drink, you can refill as much as you can which was nice. I got 2 cups and was ready to enjoy the day. It's also very accessible in the heart of downtown Breckenridge

What delicious donuts and a cool place! There was a wide variety of flavors to choose from, as well as a breakfast menu. The restaurant is decorated with license plates on the walls, pictures, and notes from guests. The woman checking guests out was not particularly friendly, but overall a good experience.

Arrived at 6, then at 8 am. Not busy on a Sunday, but filled up by 9. Ambiance is spectacular. Very eclectic. Coffee and donuts are average, but good. Full breakfast can be served or carried out. Now, line is out the door.

A cute traditional bakery/diner spot in Breckenridge! My family stopped in here for a late breakfast/brunch on our last day in Breck. You order at the counter and then find a table where your food is brought out to you. I ordered a maple cake donut, two scrambled eggs, and hash browns. The donut was great- it's hard to make a bad donut, the scrambled eggs were standard, and the hash browns were alright- I really like them on the crispier side so I should have asked for that. No complaints!

It also once served as the town's post office, general store, and gas station. The main building originally consisted of a one-room, wood plank cabin which is still standing today and attached to the larger white main house. The property expanded into its current state as the years went on. Fixtures from it's heyday as a post office can still be seen in the building which adds to all the charm. Inside you'll find an array of sweets available from individual candies to homemade fudge, homemade ice cream, and more. The ice cream is available by the scoop or as a shake, float, or sundae. I love fudge and got a couple of different flavors. They were really tasty, but also very sweet, so a little goes a long way. My favorite was the Tiger Butter and the Raspberry Swirl. I also got a coffee malted shake which was delicious. I would've wanted it to be a little thicker, but it was good nonetheless. It was a little pricey for what it was, $10.25 for a small shake and around $5 per piece of fudge (about 1/4 pound). Overall, this is a cute stop if you're in the area and craving a bit of sweets and I loved the historical aspect as well. To this day, the historic Foote's Rest landmark still remains in the Foote family.
