Some daylight donuts are terrible. It's sometimes hard to find a quality shop. This one was one of the best I've been to in quite a while. We went at 11 AM and they still had a very good selection of donuts. I was able to get donut holes which I haven't had in years because donut shops always sell out immediately. These donuts were fantastic, we got more on the way out. They had a blueberry raised donut and donut holes which I had not seen before but were delicious. Everyone who worked there that helped us were some of the friendliest people we encountered during our time in Breckenridge. We will for sure be back next time! read more

My friend took me here for my first visit and I had the best experience! Yummy sweet & savory treats with a full breakfast menu. Very welcoming staff, especially Tyler! We stopped by twice at this donut place on our latest visit to Breck and it didn't disappoint. The donuts were fresh, soft, not too sweet and delicious. We ordered the Filled Long Johns with Bavarian, chocolate cake donuts, chocolate raised donuts, donut holes, blueberry twists, and meat pies. All were good but my favorite is the Bavarian-filled Long Johns! They also have decent breakfast meals on their menu which I tried before. The vibe was laid-back, perfect for a quick stop before a day in the mountains. The prices are reasonable. They have parking in front and at the back and they accept cash and credit cards with a minimum purchase of $10. Bonus: they offer a military discount, which is a nice touch for those who serve. Yes yes yes!!!! We were so happy to have found this breakfast spot. It has an advantage of being one of the places that is open early. Seeing that we were on east coast time that really helped. Parking in the back gives you an hour of parking They offer a full breakfast. I had the breakfast burrito on my first visit and on a different day the breakfast quesadilla. Both of them came with a side of hash browns and some black beans. The salsa on the side was wonderful. I asked for my hash browns to be extra crispy and they delivered. The donuts are a big draw. If you have a sweet breakfast tooth then this place will rock your world. The service was so friendly everyday. I enjoyed this place so much I actually bought a t-shirt. A cute traditional bakery/diner spot in Breckenridge! My family stopped in here for a late breakfast/brunch on our last day in Breck. You order at the counter and then find a table where your food is brought out to you. I ordered a maple cake donut, two scrambled eggs, and hash browns. The donut was great- it's hard to make a bad donut, the scrambled eggs were standard, and the hash browns were alright- I really like them on the crispier side so I should have asked for that. Coming here is a time honored tradition in my husband's family. So we stopped by here twice for breakfast to start our days properly in Breck. Always order before you sit down! They have a sign saying so up top, but you'll note they're used to reminding newbies. tradition begs that someone orders the daylight special. I tried the egg burrito. Certainly a solid option if you're looking to fill up. My favorites here are the cake donuts here (vanilla sprinkle just slightly favored over the blueberry cake) and hubs dug the black bottom one. On Saturday we came in around 7:30 and they told us it'd be an hour for the kitchen to make breakfast so we tried sausage rolls. They're small but delicious with some syrup. read more

Awesome diner in Breckenridge! We had the egg burrito, buttermilk pancakes, fried cinnamon roll, raised chocolate sprinkle donut, and the cake cookies and cream donut. The burrito was amazing! I loved the green chili on top. The hash browns were also awesome! Would totally get that again. The pancakes were also delicious! So fluffy and we had bananas and strawberries inside. The fried cinnamon roll was really good! I did like it a lot but I felt that the spices inside felt kinda dry and had a weird flavor? The outside was really good though. And both donuts were awesome! Long time breakfast place with reasonable prices and a long time favorite with the locals. They have a full complement of doughnuts and pastries that are good. They also have a breakfast menu with eggs, potatoes and meats. All served with toast. Being Colorado they have a decent breakfast burrito. The service is fast and good. During the summer you can also sit outside. I had an American style breakfast with eggs, sausage, hash browns, toast and coffee. Good food for just over twenty dollars. Can't beat that. read more

If you are new to the area looking for a fun breakfast place to enjoy your morning ....this is NOT the place for you. First time in Breckenridge and heard great things about this establishment and was so excited to try it with my friends. Not even a couple minutes into walking into the establishment the manager/server began yelling and harassing my friends for sitting down at a table without ordering. From being a part owner of a restaurant and working in the food service industry for over 10 years ive never seen worst customer service. After yelling at us after only being in the place for 2 minutes another employee yelled out "they are entitled kids". If you are new to this area or here for a holiday find someone where else to spend your money on breakfast. Checked this place out at the recommendation of a relative of mine, since we're staying only about a 10 minutes drive from Breckenridge. I'll say right off the bat that I can't really comment on the quality of the donuts, as I'm gluten intolerant and could only try a bite or two lol. The food that I had was fine, honestly a little boring for the price. However, what I can comment on are a few other things. First, I love the look of the place. There are so many cool licenses plates hanging all over the place, and generally speaking I just like the vibe. The seating is really cramped, though, and it was very loud in there, but those aren't dealbreakers for me at the end of the day. What I didn't really like was the service. The two ladies behind the counter were so rude for no reason. I get it, it was busy and I was with a party of 9 and that's complicated for any restaurant, but it really wasn't necessary for them to get so apparently annoyed at us. For example, I tried to be polite and got up to get a to-go cup for my coffee, and I asked if I needed to pay extra or something, and the lady just shoved it in my face. I tried to clarify to make sure I didn't need to pay any more, and she cut me off and said no. Then, the staff had the nerve to get mad at us because we were all at different tables, even though we were on the same ticket. This was, however, after the lady at the front insisted us 9 people be on the same ticket, when my partner and I tried to tell her that we'd pay separately. In other words, its not our fault that you made your job harder on yourself for no reason. There was also no way that 9 people could sit at the same table because of the aforementioned crampedness, so the rudeness of the staff made even less sense. Anyway, food was decent but the staff was genuinely very rude. Usually I'm very understanding when it comes to people being frustrated, so if it was enough for me to write a review about it, then you know it was bad. read more
