Outdoor, dog friendly with music created a nice ambiance, but no view of Main Street people-watching or the river (I'm being spoiled) Service from Brazilian waiter was superb. He definitely understood the bottomless coffee mug concept. Biscuits and Gravy are Not Great. In fact, worst in Breckenridge. Biscuits were good but gravy was bland, skimpy and without any sausage. Meh.

Good coffee!

Yummy breakfast today. Their coffee is always fantastic. I went with my standard hangover burrito, which is large and filling. It could've been a little hotter, but it was fine. My wife had a build-your-own omelette, remembering to hold the peppers, which were too crunchy last time. She just got avocado, cheddar cheese, and spinach in her omelette, and she was happy with her choice. We also splurged and split one of the huge columbine cakes like we usually do. It's about the only time either of us get pancakes, and they really are that good. Columbine is always at the top of the breakfast list when we're in Breck.

It's pretty busy inside, tucked in the back of some buildings. The server was very nice. - Bloody Mary 2.3/5 It was ok a Bloody Mary. - Huevos Rancheros 4.6/5 Very light tasting huevos rancheros. Lots of shredded lettuce. It's tasty with the green chile. - Porky's Ham Steak Special 3.2/5 Thick cut ham steak. Hashbrowns are not crispy sadly. Eggs cooked well. Just a normal ham steak. - Side of Red Bean Chili 5/5 Super yummy red bean chili. Free parking in lot and on the sides. Check the signage.

Cozy mountain town cafe! Nothing fancy but great service and food. I don't believe they sell alcohol, but I had one of the best lattes I've had there! Will definitely be back next time I'm in town.

My sister had been here for breakfast previously and enjoyed it, but what a disappointment. There was hardly anyone there (on a Wednesday around Noon) so the service was okay. The Hangover Burrito, sweet cream pancake and Greek Salad were good but most breakfast items were bland and flavorless. The hash browns were especially offensive; tasting like day-old reheated potatoes. I have literally never been to a restaurant where the hash browns did not taste fresh. I asked the server about it and she said they were "making them all day" so I asked for a new order and she came back within 30 seconds ... Clearly not freshly made. While a bit warmer, they had the same bland, cardboard consistency of the first order. My husband doused his in ketchup to make them tolerable but I didn't even waste the calories. The biscuit that came with my omelette was also terrible; it seemed almost dehydrated (clearly also not fresh). You have to leave the restaurant (go back out through the entry door and down two flights of stairs) to use the restroom, which is actually the restroom of the bar below. Overall an odd breakfast experience.

Took my girls here for Breakfast while my husband went snowboarding! Staff were so friendly and attentive! Their portions are big as well! My girls were able to share one plate and still had left overs.

Columbine Cafe is just off the main strip of shops and restaurants, tucked away in a courtyard with an unmarked entry. Put your name on their wait list, but don't stray too far as the 20 min wait for us was only 12 minutes and they only hold the table for 10 minutes. The atmosphere is cozy and busy. It's obvious this is a popular place, and the staff did a fantastic job of getting our order to us quickly without making us feel rushed at any point along the way. In all we ordered a Courtyard breakfast with French toast, bacon, over easy eggs, and a fruit cup, the Columbine eggs bennedict with extra crispy hash browns, orange juice, grapefruit juice, and an oat milk latte. Our food arrived promptly and our order was correct down to the crispy hashbrowns. The poached egg was perfectly prepared, and the thick slice of ham was sweet, smoky, thick, and tender. Hollindase sauce was a little on the sweet side for my liking, but all in all was fantastic. The courtyard breakfast was also fantastic. The French toast was picturesque and nicely prepared. Real maple syrup would have been a nice touch as the syrup did have a bit of a sticky/stringy consistency. The fruit cup was lovely and included fresh strawberries as a pleasant surprise! The bacon was thick and tasty. At the end of our meal the check was handled very quickly. In summary this is a family friendly spot, with a mountain cabin atmosphere, good for boisterous conversation and a hearty meal.

The fact that this cafe offers a vegetarian pepper white gravy completely sold me as biscuits and gravy are one of my favorite indulgent food and it's so hard to find a spot that doesn't serve sausage gravy. I was so happy with my breakfast here and could have licked the plate if that wasn't generally frowned upon in public. The biscuits and gravy come with hashbrowns and I opted to add two scrambled eggs with cheese to make it a complete meal. I had to try the apple pie cider, which is a spiced apple cider with cinnamon syrup and caramel syrup topped with whipped cream and cinnamon. It was so good and the perfect cozy drink for a winter day.

They give you plenty of food.

We wanted a good breakfast before hitting the slopes. This is the spot! Nice portions, fast and friendly service. It had a nice, cozy atmosphere.

Could not recommend this place more for breakfast! So much I came two days in a row! Service is incredible and the food portions are awesome! My wife got the basic breakfast which was very filling for $10; I got the columbine breakfest, our sons got the kids pancake! My second visit I got the burrito and wowwwww it was so good and the green chili was phenomenal! If you're looking for a breakfest place look no more further than Columbine Cafe! Especially most times there are no wait!

Food: really good! Recommend the porky's ham steak, the corned beef hash, and my son lost his mind on the hangover burrito. Prices were very reasonable; you'd pay just as much in downtown Cowplop as you would here in a resort town. Definitely a local hangout. Son liked the spicy Bloody Mary, but be advised the garnish is a pickle. Unique. Plan on a wait for weekend breakfast. We waited about 40 minutes , but the place was slammed. Service was very good, and the food arrived promptly, and still hot( a real trick at this elevation), Small town, friendly vibe. It's the kind of place where you feel like a local after the second visit. All in all, you could spend more and get less.

Dined here after a friend recommended it during my time in Breckenridge. It was a Saturday around noon so they were quite busy but my husband and I were able to score 2 seats at the bar to be seated immediately. We had the corned beef benedict and hangover burrito. Both dishes were delicious. Their corned beef is cooked to perfection.

Columbine Cafe has a ton of options for breakfast and lunch. They are open daily 7:30am to 1:30pm. The service isn't overly friendly but fast. They know it's always tourist season in Breckinridge and try to accommodate that. The cafe is behind (and left) of the gift shop and to the right of Eric's. The inside has very cool wall and mostly consists of booths. The bathroom is downstairs and actually are Eric's bathrooms. We were there in the summer and it was so hot. They need another ceiling fan. My friend didn't look well. I got the breakfast sandwich cause I wasn't that hungry. I appreciate them having a smaller cheaper option. The sandwich and others breakfasts were good. If it's not very hot out I'd go back.

This guy complained the entire time we were seated. It created quite the breakfast atmosphere in a full restaurant. #awkward

Walking in on a cold February day, the mood and ambiance were warm and inviting. The downstairs bar was lively, and the wood ceiling and decor definitely gave off a classic aged lodge feel. We were seated upstairs per our Yelp reservations. A collection of canteens hung on the wall, which sparked a fun conversation and history lesson for my twins. Since they're part of the CamelBak and Stanley cup generation, they hadn't seen anything like them before. My son was impressed by the size of the kids' burger, and the fries were great. The rest of us had the NY Strip. I'd say it was good, but not great--though I did appreciate the blackened seasoning and the chimichurri. The grilled asparagus, however, was simply fantastic. The showstopper was the upside-down apple pie with what seemed to be homemade vanilla ice cream. Both were generous portions and kindly comped by our server for my birthday. I ordered my standard Ranch Water, though it unfortunately didn't come in their traditional canteen cup. Overall, it's a great spot. I look forward to visiting again on our next trip to Colorado.

When we arrived, there was a medical situation with a guest, and an ambulance came to assist. Obviously, that takes priority, and we were patient and understanding. However, after the situation cleared, we continued waiting another 20 minutes. During that time, several groups who arrived after us were seated first. When I politely asked the host about our status, I was told those groups were seated because they were smaller parties. That didn't appear to be accurate, and when I mentioned that, the response quickly became rude and dismissive. At that point, we decided there was no reason to stay and left for dinner elsewhere. The next day, we ate at Tin Plate Pizza--fantastic food and excellent service. Ironically, while walking past Bird and Cow afterward, we noticed their kitchen area through an open back door, and it did not appear clean or well-kept. In hindsight, we're glad things worked out the way they did--but overall, this was a frustrating experience driven by inaccurate wait times and poor customer service.

The food is slightly above average; the real attraction is the great selection of beers on tap. We can say that the Brewer's Mac n Cheese, Rainbow Trout, and Wild Game Meatloaf are worth ordering - well crafted, generous portions, and good tucker after a day of skiing. The burgers are standard pub fare (it's too bad they dropped the elk burger which was a definite winner!) BB has a phenomenal assemblage of beers which cater to a variety of palates. Our go-to's are the Avalanche Amber and Juice Drop Hazy but you really can't go wrong with their rotation. We do want to credit the staff. They really do make the BB experience what it is - they maintain great attitudes and deliver exceptional service while taking care of a full house of thirsty apres skiers. BB has a well-worn atmosphere and could probably use a refresh but is otherwise an inviting environment because of the care and consideration of the servers and bartenders. Any visit to Breck is incomplete without hoisting a few at BB!

Was greeted promptly upon entering and directed to the bar to place a to go order. I had limited time because had to catch a bus. The ambiance was fun with TV screens around to watch various sporting events. I was watching A&M get beat by Miami while waiting for my food order to be prepared. They have the silver brewery tanks where they brew their beer on site behind the bar area. They had a bunch of unique brews but I am not a beer person. I found a seat at the bar and the bartender came to take my order. I mentioned that I was on a time crunch with having to catch the bus in approximately 35 minutes and just wanted to check to see if the kitchen could accommodate my schedule. I was a bit taken aback when he responded that he couldn't guarantee anything and the electricity could go out.... So I was going to pass on ordering, but then he said we better get my order in then. So I put in an order for fish and chips. Then he said the kitchen should not have a problem accommodating that time window. He brought me some water and I enjoyed watching the football game while I waited for my to-go order. The food was ready in plenty of time for me to make it to the bus stop. It was packed nicely and came in a paper bag. I was able to enjoy it at the bus stop. Fish and Chips with Avalanche Ale battered white fish, fries, tartar. The fish has a nice batter but was a bit bland and could have used more salt or other seasoning. It really needed the tartar sauce to complete the flavor profile. The fries were light and crispy. Overall the food was what I would expect from a brewery. Nice place to go in breck to enjoy beer and food while watching a sporting event.
