I think this place gets way too much credit, and I genuinely hate to write a negative review I'm just trying to be honest with my realistic rating. The best part of both meals were the cheesy potato. I think if I ordered just that I would have given a much higher rating. So maybe we ordered poorly. I got the salmon bagels the salmon was dry, there was barely (if any?) cream cheese, and flavor just wasn't great. My husband ordered the locale. Given how much it cost I guess we expected more. Wmall sandwich that fell apart quickly. Still nothing special on the flavor. Super simple, but delicious homemade breakfast! We came here twice during our weekend away and really loved everything we had. From the omelette, to the basic breakfast plate. The smothered burrito and the melt. Every item was delicious freshly made in memorable. The biscuits are gigantic crispy on the outside and soft on the end. It even comes with a hash brown patty if you're trying to get it on the go. Cheesy potatoes are amazing perfectly crispy and a nice light sauce with some green onions. The orange juice is fresh and their cappuccino is perfect. Warm and friendly service regardless of how busy it is. They even serve booze if that's your thing. The space is basic. Delicious Main Street burrito! Coming in at $15.99 it's not cheap, but it comes with yummy cheesy potatoes and it's solid enough to split or cover two breakfasts. I don't like that they ask for a tip when you pay through your credit card. You order at the counter and bus your own table, that is not tip territory for me, but my husband is a softie and feels embarrassed if he doesn't give 15%, the lowest amount asked for. But that's OK, the food is legit and we will definitely go back, especially to try the $5 Bloody Mary's on Wednesdays. Update: we just tried them and they are legit! We went here for breakfast today. It was ok. The inside was really neat looking and it was very laid back. You look at the menu then order at the counter and they bring you your food. A little on the pricey side but it's a ski town so yeah. You are asked to bus your own table when you're done. But onto the food. Both hubby and I kind of thought the food was a bit lacking. Mine had very little flavor and he said his burrito was about a 2 out of 5. The dunkin sticks with syrup were, of course, wonderful! Maybe we should try their dinner? My food came out with breaded fries ... of which they changed semi begrudgingly for a salad. Food was fast... but my breakfast burger tasted like the burgers came from the freezer microwaved. This is a counter service place, where you order and pay at the counter, then go seat yourself, get your own drinks, then bus your own table. They do add a 3% "kitchen fee" which you will see once the receipt is printed, and they ask for tips, if you feel inclined. I gave them a tip and it did not insure promptness. We waited over an hour for our food. The food was ok, I liked the eggs Benedict, but didn't care for the honey added to the avocado toast. My wife and split the biscuit sandwich with egg, cheese, and ham and the fried French toast cakes in Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Everything was so good! The ham on the biscuit was thick and delicious! This is a popular breakfast place in Breckinridge and it was super busy this morning (Sunday). Despite the line out the door, employees were holding it together well and our order was ready in a timely manner. I could tell it was stressful for employees to find people when their order was ready so I feel like it would be helpful to have a text message system or maybe buzzers. The menu is great and I went for the vegetarian burrito. I substituted eggs for hummus and had the vegan chorizo which was so flavorful! It's nice that they had 2 vegan protein options. They can't do potatoes without cheese, so I paid $2.50 to upgrade to a fruit cup. I did not think it was worth the up-charge, but if they offered a larger serving or fruit or better quality fruit (strawberries, blueberries, more pineapple) it would be worth it. When my friends and I decided to go to Breck for the morning/afternoon, we were searching for a great grab-in-go place before doing some shopping. Not only is BreckFast actually fast, it was SO DELICOUS. We got to BreckFast around 11:30 am on a Saturday, which was probably not the best move, but we were happy to find spots outside and avoided the rain that was threatening to pour down on us! They have plenty of outside seating, but it may be hard to grab a table if it is nice out! So glad that we experimented with this place and that they had such a great set of selections to make everyone in my group happy! To start, my friends and I got some breakfast cocktails...because why not? A friend got a mimosa and two of us got Bloody Marys with the added dollar for the piece of delicious bacon! Both were great, but I did feel that I got the better deal with the huge Bloody Mary... For food, I got the country fried steak and gravy on a biscuit (the Baldy, a sandwich), and it was AMAZING--I was super surprised since gravy is something that I can definitely be a diva about (that Indiana girl in me). While I felt super full, I almost ate the entire thing! One friend got the Peak 9 Sloppy Joe Grilled Cheese, and he scarfed it up in like 2 minutes, so I think it was fair to say that he loved it. My other friend got the Breck Banh Mi, which she really enjoyed--she said it was more of a different take on a Banh Mi, so if you're hoping for a super traditional version of the sandwich, you may not be so happy with what you find! She really enjoyed it, and if I hadn't been so full, I would have tried a bit--until next time, I guess! Service was super fast and great--we actually ended up using the online ordering to put in our order at the restaurant, then we went inside to make sure that it came through that we actually were at the restaurant.
