What's better on a warm summer's day than ice cream? Ice cream from Sundae! We stopped by a couple times recently, and enjoyed both trips. I first ordered the cookie sundae. It was very good. I'd probably order it light on the hot fudge, which melted the various flavors together. The second time, I went with their sweet cream and added sea salt. It was great. One visit was enough, the service was indifferent. More than half the flavors were not in stock at 2:00pm. My birthday cake ice cream lacked flavor beyond that of sugar. My husband had a nut based flavor that had 2 small pieces of nut and very mild flavor. We only purchased the cones because the sole employee whose lunch we interrupted did not know how to ring up our cake. After when finished our cones, picked up something from a neighbor business and made a phone call the employee learned how to ring up the cake. Prior to this we offered the cashier cash plus $10.00 for the cake so we could pay and leave while she figured it out. She said she couldn't do that. After all that the cake was made with more filler than ice cream. Again the ice cream was basically sugary but otherwise flavorless. Since I have tried twice to reach the business by phone to try to order again. I believe in second chances. Both times I was asked to hold after requesting to order then disconnected. Tons of mix ins too - all mashed up on the marble slab. Nom nom nom. This is not for the fro-yo faint of heart. This is some real ice cream ish. The good kind.
