Not impressed but the girls who work there were nice. 1. My husband asked for a chocolate sundae but they ran out of hot fudge. The ice cream place is called Sundae. . Hmmmm... 2. My daughter and I chose a scoop of chocolate mint ice cream. I didn't like that the color of the ice cream, it was a bit of a greener shade. I was hoping for at least no food coloring in something as simple as ice cream in Vail where nature and wilderness come to mind. 3. The chocolate bites were pretty big but a bit too hard and flavorless. Would prefer smaller pieces and more flavor. read more

Best ice cream ever! Very cute shop! We were visiting during the off season and it was one of the few places open in Vail. Took my kids and parents in for some ice cream and everyone loved it. Customer service was amazing; she was very patient with my kids as they try a few flavors, all of which they loved so it was tough picking just two each. Thought the prices were very reasonable for the quality and location. read more

I'm not one for ice cream in cold weather, but Raz is, so when we saw site-made small-batch ice cream when we were adventuring through Vail, he insisted we stop in and try it. We didn't have any toppings mixed into our scoops, since I didn't realize at the time that they do that. Thus, my avocado coconut and his Caramelized Banana had to get by on their own merits. Mine was smooth and rich, like all good things made with avocado should be, but neither the avocado nor the coconut flavors really made themselves bold or memorable. Despite being able to smell the Banana in Raz's cup from across the street, that flavor wasn't precisely bold either. Perhaps my tastebuds were simply frozen before I even put the ice cream on them, or perhaps the local palate runs to deep subtlety. Any way you dish it, though, it's smooth, rich, creamy, small-batch ice cream made local to the store, so it gets the fourth star for its freshness. read more

Amazing flavors to choose from including chocolate and coffee which are my two favorite. Remember, your mouth is always 98.2 degree Fahrenheit so ice cream is always a good idea! This place is a small quaint shop in Vail. It's brightly colored and inviting. However, after our ice cream cones were assembled, the cashier just did not give a shit about anything. He swiped our cards and told us to leave a tip and walked off. I understand he was still in high school or something but you have to learn about customer service. That left the experience lackluster as it was the last memory of that place. Ice cream was fantastic but service is just not there. read more

This was my first time coming here and their ice cream was fantastic. The cones were perfect and I loved my chocolate ice cream sundae. Definitely one of the greatest ice creams I've ever had. The ice cream was super yummy and we loved every item we got. The service was less than impressive .... We were were in line for a bit (you know, coronavirus rules and all), and watched as the girl behind the counter continued to yell at people about what spot they. We're to be at to enter. It was a bit confusing because when it was your turn to "enter" you didn't enter - you stopped at the door. Every single person I saw sat foot inside and didn't stop AT the door and every single one of them got yelled at. Not told ....yelled at. We finally made it to our turn to order and we decided to get one of every sundae on the board - 4 - there were 5 of us. The yelling girl asked three times, "are you all really getting one of every sundae??" My daughter inquired about an Ice cream sandwich and was told they wouldn't make her one because it was too close to closing so she would have to get one from the freezer. As we sat to eat we saw the line continue to grow and grow - closing time was approaching. The line was full of excited patrons but when 9 pm arrived the door was simply shut. People stood there and were confused - was it closed? The answer would be, yes. Needless to say it left a bad taste in people's mouth. Would I return? Yes - the ice cream was too good but now that I know there are other locations, I'd be inclined to avoid this one. I guess they are counting on people just going here because of its location - service doesn't need to be good and friendly, I suppose. Good value? I guess that's in the eye of the Beholder - I felt it was not a bad price for this sort of shop, but it is definitely not cheap. Give this place a try - just make sure you stop AT the door when it's your turn in the line! read more

The chocolate/peanut butter sundae we had at Sundaes on a Sunday was really really good. The chocolate was almost fudge like and the peanut brittle was an interesting and enjoyable choice. We were served by very patient and helpful girls. Later, when my 9-year-old son ordered something he ended up not liking (no samples during COVID) he went back in and got something else. They treated him well. Great spot. Give it a shot. read more

We stopped by after picking up some lunch and I am very happy we did. The ice cream was amazing! My husband and I ended up both getting milkshakes with two flavors each. The server was beyond impressive and cranked out order after order alone. She got through a long line with a smile and positive attitude. Great service! Great product! They make their own ice cream. Worth 5 stars. Had the cookie jar sundae. Absolutely fantastic. Son had the salted cookies and cream. Amazing. Son had mint. He finished it before I could have any. But they have straight scoops, sundaes, shakes and do a version of cold stone creamery. Everything we had was good. Prices for what you get in Vail are pretty reasonable. I'd definitely go back. Tip the folks working there. It's non stop for them. They couldn't have been more patient. read more

The waffle cones were great, and they offer a kiddie size which is also a waffle which is great. The ice cream was OK, nothing more than that. What a GREAT experience!!! My husband and I went on the 4th of July. Line to the street. We thought this must be the place to be!! We were in the shop before you knew it. The staff was fun and friendly and incredibly efficient!!! They looked like they have done this a time or two before! Quick and amazing service and the ice cream was out of this world! My husband had the seasonal sundae and loved it. I had a caramel brownie and it was delicious. The manager and staff were singing and clearly were having a blast! This was not my favorite for sure, but the ice cream was still good (the caramelized banana was the best of what we tried), and the surroundings were fun (we loved spending the afternoon in Vail), so I would definitely get ice cream here again if I were in town. read more

Some of the best ice cream I've ever had. They make everything from scratch in the store, and have some awesome inventive flavors. Trick or treat in October is incredible. They also have a salted cookies and cream which makes you wonder why you've had it any other way. Also all their spoons and cups are biodegradable, and they sell containers for you to keep at home. read more

I stopped in here in the afternoon after a hot morning of hiking in the nearby area. There were plenty of flavors as well as cone options and toppings. We got a waffle cone with a double scoop of cookies and cream. It was good, and a big cone, but it was also over $9. Delicious ice cream and friendly staff! I'm visiting the area with my family which includes a picky eater with food allergies. After shopping at the outlets we called an ice cream place in Silverthorne to check their flavors and we were told to just come in to see because they were busy. Why even answer the phone, Foote's?? I called Sundae and they were delightful. Absolutely worth the 30 minute drive, and not just out of spite. The Salted Caramel Brickle was bomb, and my kids quickly demolished their Trick or Treat waffle cones. read more

It was absolutely decadent and comforting, easily one of the best cups of hot chocolate I've ever had. Rich, smooth, and the perfect treat in a snowy Vail setting. Overall, Remedy Bar delivers a beautiful atmosphere, delicious food, and a cozy mountain-luxury experience. I would absolutely recommend stopping in if you're visiting Vail.
