This was a weary traveler's delight. We unexpectedly lost a day's travel when the I 70 tunnel was closed. We spent our forced stay in Eagle and were very disgruntled. The bartender makes concoctions you would expect in a major city at only a few establishments. The food was good with current twists and they accommodated special requests readily. you can get a delicious meal that is also healthy. Atmosphere was cute without being over the top. Immediately attracted by the setup both in/outside... Walked in and was immediately serviced! Wanted the jalapeño poppers but apparently everyone already ate them! So we ordered calamari, a legit and plentiful order I may add. The Caesar salad wasn't too fascinating but tasty none the less. My 14oz Ribeye was cooked to perfection and the side veg was a phenom. My girl ordered the chicken fried steak and I was quite envious; she said it was amazing! The food is good and they have a soft serve ice cream spot attached to the side of the restaurant. That was a great choice since it is the only ice cream shop in town. The food is a little over priced for what you are getting. But it will not break the bank, just leave room for yummy ice cream. read more

We were graciously accommodated on the patio because we were traveling with our dog. The staff was so kind and helpful, as it was a busy Friday night. We enjoyed three fantastic entree salads: Salmon, Ahi Tuna and Taco. All were fresh, flavorful and delishes. The Chef expertly dealt with several food allergies in our party. It's a true delight to have a chef with enough skill to prepare a tasty alternative dressing when presented with a special request. Hats off to the chef!! One more note - we had the pleasure of listening to some great live music on the patio while we dined. A lovely dinner in a great setting. read more

We love this great little place. When we want a nice destination for a Sunday drive we head for this restaurant. Wonderfull Colorado cheesesteak sandwich on a crusty bun, and fries are crispy. Hubby and I split sandwich,add a nice Caesar salad and then we go for the croissant and berry bread pudding. This is a very special desert, warm with berries and sauce and topped with whipped cream. YUM Service is good and friendly. Only things was on our last visit my chair was sticky, I think it's time for a deep cleaning. But we will still travel for this enjoyable food. read more

I had the salmon burger and it was awesome. I think it had onion straws, and goat cheese that made the burger awesome ! Don't remember the rest of the toppings. I got sweet potato fries and they were brought out hot and crispy! I got the poppers appetizer which was really good, but the jalapeño itself was still a little firm and crispy even after fried. I prefer the jalapeño itself a little more cooked, however they were excellent and had bacon and cream cheese , topped with a pico de gallo of some sort that was really good. Waiter recommended the prime rib with was on special on the weekend, which after walking outside I saw someone's prime rib plate and it looked AMAZING with a big portion. Next time I'm in town! This place is EHHHHH... I ordered the $26 ribeye and it honestly wasn't worth it. At all. Ordered a medium rare, and when I got it it was cooked to about a medium well. Not to mention, part of it was burnt. It was decent enough to eat, but I definitely wouldn't eat here again. Especially after seeing my co-workers' meals. Good luck to anyone else who orders steak here, I'd really recommend going elsewhere if you're having a steak craving. As for the sides, you get three small slices of grilled zucchini with tons of onions along with whatever the hell the potato side is. Also, another factor to this low rating was the service. Absolutely horrible. We were there for about 1 1/2 hours, and we only got checked on once. Our server even forgot to bring water to our table. Really? Wow. I get it, we ordered alcohol, but I'm not trying to go dehydrated over here. She didn't even check on us once after she delivered our meal. read more

Steak has never done the way I have ordered it, I also know that they use a cheap cut of meat. The bill came tonight, it did not add up, when asked the manager to review, she changed the bill and said it was right, tore up the original and said the computer could not change the billing. Would not talk to me any more. I will never go back to this place, could of been a nice place, I have patrionized this place for years. Not any more. read more

My husband and I love the Grand Ave Grill. We make it our special treat for a great lunch before we shop at Costco in Gypsum. We drive in from Meeker, CO. The menu is very unique, not the same old same old. the sandwiches are delicious. my husband had the smoked pulled pork, soo good and big. I had the fish tacos and they were delicious, and big. Great Bloody Mary's too. Ask for Louise she is a great server. read more

My wife and I drive to and from Grand Junction on a frequent basis. Every time we do this, we stop at this great place for lunch. It is such a gem. Completely unexpected in Eagle. The food is wonderful and the service is friendly and efficient. We've eaten there at least 20 times and have never been disappointed. Something has changed with Grand Ave Grill. It is currently not living up to its strong reviews and accolades. Worst dining experience. Service was extremely slow - 10 minutes to have anyone come to our table once we were seated. The food was deplorable! French fries served were overlooked to a crisp and the taco salad with ground beef was served with a chopped up hamburger on top, not taco ground beef. It was like being served slop. Server hardly opened her mouth to us and never dared to ask how our meal was. We will NEVER eat here again! Less than even a one star rating. So if you ever find yourself in Eagle and come up on the Grand Ave Grill, just keep on driving, it is absolutely not worth the stop! read more

I've visited for both dinner and breakfast. The service was excellent. Friendly servers and we were greeted quickly at the door. My boyfriend and I enjoyed the food both times. We started with the Ahi Tuna - Avocado Bruschetta. Fresh tasting and a big portion for an appetizer. Probably, it could be someone's dinner. I had the meatloaf for dinner. My only complaint was that the gravy was a little salty for me, but otherwise everything had good flavor. The gravy is a Marsala gravy with plenty of mushrooms, so that made up for the saltiness. We highly recommend breakfast. I had the Huevos Rancheros and my boyfriend had the Prime Rib Hash. The prime rib wasn't chewy in the hash & the sauce with it was tasty. I really liked the green chili on the Huevos. It could be a little hotter for me, but I'm glad the kitchen didn't overspice it for those who like a milder chili. Both breakfasts were excellent. I don't know the entire beer menu, but we had a few local microbrews with our dinner, so they are microbrew-friendly! read more
