Here's what happened: * The first sectional was manufactured incorrectly. * The replacement was also manufactured incorrectly. * On the third attempt, I was notified before delivery that the sectional was gashed and missing components, so it could not be delivered. Three failed manufacturing attempts. More than a year. Still no completed order. I am out $12,000. I understand that mistakes happen. What I cannot understand is how a company selling premium furniture can get the same custom order wrong twice and then have the third replacement arrive damaged and incomplete before it even reaches the customer. When someone spends over $12,000 on custom furniture, they expect quality, accountability, and customer service that matches the price. Unfortunately, my experience has been the exact opposite.

Price was excellent and although this store did not have sufficient stock, they brought in the balance the next day and we had on-time delivery to our home. This time I visited with my contractor to select new large format polished tile for our new shower remodel. Finding the tile was difficult only because of the large variety of choices! I had some issues with finding the flooring tile for the shower; however, Jaimee walked the two of us through the options and showed us the massive wall of selections that would provide us with the match or contrast options and the many shape options, too. It was as if she not only knew everything about my concerns (which she did), but she provided suggestions and answered all my questions showing her knowledge and experience and did it all with professionalism and courtesy - attributes not always found in retail establishments these days. I changed the rating from 2 stars to 3 because they at least reached out. 7/15/2024 - Nothing but a profound disappointment with the service I received at Fergusson location at 3440 6th Ave S, Seattle. My recent experience left me frustrated and concerned about the level of customer care at this store, and I urge your business to a competitor or even another Fergusson shop. Called on Tuesday to order a 3x3x2 Street Wye, a special fitting not typically stocked. I chose this location due to its proximity to my workplace and was assured it would arrive by Friday. Unbeknownst to me, this store is the only utilities supply shop that closes at 3 PM daily. I received no notification that the part had arrived, so I called at 2:30 PM on Friday to confirm its arrival. I informed the person on the phone that I would leave work immediately to pick it up, yet there was no mention of the early closing time. I arrived at the store at 3:06 PM, only to find the doors closed and gated. A person sitting in his car in the parking lot rolled down his window and, when I explained my situation, his response was simply, "I am not going to clock in." He suggested I go to the Marginal Way location, even though I had specifically ordered the part for will-call because no other Fergusson in the Seattle area had it in stock, and it had to be shipped from Portland. His refusal to help was frustrating and disappointing, especially considering my entire weekend plans were contingent on this fitting. When I returned on Monday, I encountered further issues. I asked why the employee even bothered to engage me if he had no intention of helping. Another customer, who seemed to know the employee, became confrontational with me for voicing my concerns. This added to my frustration and made the situation more uncomfortable. My main concerns are as follows: 1.) Why didn't I receive a call or text confirming the part had arrived? 2.) When I called to confirm the part was in and mentioned I was on my way, why was I not informed of the early closing time? 3.) Why was the employee sitting in his car and engaging with me if he had no intention of helping? 4.) When I spoke with Kyle, the manager, he seemed indifferent to the lack of communication and customer service. His response felt obligatory and dismissive. This experience reflects poorly on Fergusson's commitment to customer service. The lack of communication and the dismissive attitude of their staff are unacceptable. It would be nice to see a business address these kinds of issues promptly to prevent other customers from having similar negative experiences. I honestly have my doubts that they even care about customers.
