Our meal was amazing with several twists on the classic tapas in the area. Nice cozy vibe in there with good drinks and reasonable prices. Reservation was required as they kept turning people away without one, so I recommend planning in advance as you don't want to miss this one.

Two years ago my wife and I came to Barcelona as part of our honeymoon, we got our reservation wrong (there's a similarly named place near by). Anyways, we ended up eating here and loved it! Two years later we came back and wanted this to be our first proper meal. The Staff are genuinely wonderful people, they treat their customers with absolute kindness. The food is absolutely outstanding! There isn't a bad thing on the menu. The decor of the restaurant is tropical and fun, your eyes won't stop gazing at the murals. If you find yourself in Barcelona, come here!

Outstanding! Amazing! The food was excellent. Was so excited to eat it that I forgot to take photos of everything. Everything came out timely, service was wonderful, and the food was very good. Small restaurant, table behind us was very loud but super cool ambiance and atmosphere

This was a highlight of my trip! We stumbled upon this restaurant when we noticed several people waiting outside to get in. We added our name to the list (they primarily do reservations which we did the next night when we returned ;) ) and 30 minutes later we were seated at the bar. This place was AWESOME. We had 2 glasses of wine each, the cheese platter, zucchini, lamb, and truffle ravioli (all tapas). It was the best food I had had in my time in europe. The service was great, the ambiance was great... and we were stunned when we got the bill and it was 65 euros. I would have gladly paid $100+ in the states for that. The staff was lovely, they offered generous wine pours, and we had such a great time we had to tell anyone who would listen to go check them out.

This was a great last dinner in Barcelona! Luvkily we were able to get a reservation day of, but on the later side. For a Sunday at 11pm the place was packed! Definitely make a reservation a few days in advance if you can. The atmosphere was so lively and fun and the food was amazing! We decided to try Sensi gourmet because we wanted to try some more unique tapas after eating more traditional Catalon dishes for the week. We loved each dish more than the next! We started with the broccoli souffle which paired well with the marmalade and crispy onions. Then the truffle ravioli which were delicious and the portion was a good size. My favorite dish was the chicken with apple mousse! What an incredible combination! The apple mouse was wonderful! The duck was amazing as well, perfectly cooked! The only dish we found somewhat lacking was the roasted apple with strawberry mousse and banana puree. While it was still tasty and the flavors were good, the presentation was somewhat lacking. I wish there had been more roasted apples. The waiters brought us free shots of limoncello after our meal which was so kind! There are several other Sensi restuarants nearby which I'll have to try next time I'm in Barcelona!

Amazing ! Definitely make reservations a day or two in advance. Everything was so fresh and delicious! The servers and cooks would walk in the front door with fresh bread, herbs, and fish. The presentation of all the dishes were works of art. One of the top restaurants that I ate at in Barcelona, do not miss out !

We snagged a reservation after a long day of walking around the absolutely stunning Barcelona, and thankfully, were able to as the queue was quite long all night long. What a treat! The restaurant was seriously hopping the entire time we were there, and the service was correspondingly up and down, but always friendly. The food was fantastic - an upscale take on local tapas. The tomato rubber Coca bread, as with every place in Barcelona, was a revelation. It says a lot when it's the one dish we have replicated at home multiple times in two weeks! The grilled octopus was some of the best we have ever had, and is the one dish we will remember for a long time. We tried another six of their tapas and each one was quite wonderful, along with the cocktails and wine. The biggest highlight for us was the Gorgonzola and pear risotto - easily the best risotto I have ever had! Amazing... This is a wonderful place to stop in if you have a chance, just remember to make a reservation first!

Some of the best tapas in Barcelona! I love all the Sensi restaurants in the city, and I brought my mom here when she came to visit me so that I could show her a truly delicious tapas dinner experience. Both the ambiance and prices are on the higher end, but the refined atmosphere in the heart of the Gothic Quarter, classy service, and absolutely amazing food are a must-do when in Barcelona. All of the ingredients and flavors offer unique, delicious spins on classic, authentic Catalan and Spanish tapas. The berry almond marmalade with the cheese board and mini Oxtail burgers were unbelievable!! Definitely make a reservation if possible, since it's a popular place.

Great tapa experience!!! We had the Ravioli (truffle), the lamb with orange sauce, the zucchini lasagna, and the tartar. We are American and weren't sure what to get so we let our server select his favorites. We were so pleased with his choices. The lamb was so tender and the ravioli was so rich. Great vibe and authentic experience. They know what they are doing here!

Sensational tapas, actually the best we had during our Barcelona trip. Recommended for everybody who is up for something new and likes experimenting. Very friendly staff. Nice, modern, atmosphere. Mixed audience, but of course a lot of hipsters.

I've been to this place 3 times now and it is the best tapas I have had in Barcelona. It's well priced and you have to get 3 tapas per person which is the perfect amount in my opinion. Some tapas are obviously larger than others but you can tell by the prices which are bigger and which are smaller. I've had almost every tapa on the menu by now and my absolute 3 favourites are the tomato tartare, the octopus, and the truffle ravioli. All of the tapas are good but you can't go wrong with these 3. Tip: you need to make a reservation a day or two in advance or else you won't get a table until 11pm. If your reservation is for a prime time (such as 9pm) expect to have to wait 15-20 minutes for your table because this restaurant is extremely packed. However usually if you have to wait a bit they give your table free glasses of champagne! Service is very helpful and they speak fluent English.

Our favorite dinner from 9 nights in Spain. An extensive (non traditional) tapas menu in a great trendy cool hip atmosphere with great service and amazing flavorful food. Definitely make a reservation ahead of time to secure a spot!

This was recommended by friends awhile back, I remembered the modern ambiance, amazing Tapas, friendly service and the place was as busy then until now. For this big restaurant caliber, it's pretty crowded yet they do a good job with a fast turnaround. We did the early Dinner and by the time we got out there was already a long line for late Diners. The fact that even after a decade, it's rare that I go back to the same spot let alone they're still around after all these years. You already know that tells a lot and I feel bad for those who didn't have the same great experience, hope they give it another shot. See y'all soon! Salut, Vermouth!

My son had been here last year and thought, it was a solid. We put our name in, went to a nearby park bench to wait and watch people for 50 minutes. The servers outside are grumpy as to many people are crowding the sidewalk and impeding his service. Finally, our name was called, were seated at the bar, and watched a chef make the magic dishes. The menu is huge and I can't help but watch the delicious dishes flying by us. So little time and yet so many great choices, this won't be easy. We began with the beef tenderloin montadito foie gras. It was presented as a open face sandwich on a bagette. We split it as it had a huge piece of foie gras. The tenderloin was tough and the tapas tasted like indivdual components, not a blended or refined profile. The grilled razor clams were nicely cooked, slightly gritty and needed to be washed more thoroughly. The Spanish omelet wedge was spiritual, dish of the night award. The onion made the dish! The sliced fried artichoke was finely shaved, and again lacked a enjoyable flavor that I would order again. The chips with fried eggs and Jabugo ham was different, tasty and a concept I would not of thought about. Delicious! Casveseria Catalanahe was packed and stacked for a reason. A high vibe and energy even in the face of a revolt at the check in desk from hungry dinners. I came say without hesitation, we will give them a second try. The staff was friendly, engaging, warm and a good sense of humor, nothing but smiles. I can't wait for our next trip to Cerveseria Catalana and let them tell me what to order. Good luck and see you sooner than later.

We were happy to enter the cozy La Alcoba Azul and seated by a smiling host immediately & presented with menus. The interior looks almost like a wine cellar with brick vaulted ceilings. The offerings are best described as fusion tapas but there are a few traditional bites as well. We confidently ordered the tomato tartare with avocado cream, basil, olive powder and rosemary olive oil caviar as well as a half order of cured Iberican meats featuring chorizo, loin, sausage and ham, an order of the hummus with black olives, parsley, pine nuts and pita triangles. All were terrific! We especially enjoyed the meats and tomato tartare. I enjoyed a red sangria that was satisfying and happened to be topped with cinnamon...a first and welcome addition for me.
