California Burger
Moises T.

This place was incredible. I really liked the whole setup. I was able to sit outside and enjoy the Napa weather, and the inside had that classic diner feel. The place was packed when we went, and there was so much energy. People coming in and out, tables full, and that constant sound of food being made in the background. The staff were really nice, and the food was even better. I ordered the California Burger with Gruyere cheese, bacon, arugula, balsamic caramelized onions, and a fried egg on top. And wow. From the first bite, I was sold. The beef was juicy and had that nice grilled flavor, the Gruyere added this creamy, slightly nutty taste. While the rich sweetness of the caramelized onions introduced an entirely new layer of flavor to the dish. Then the fried egg, once the yolk broke, everything came together. Buttery, salty, sweet, smoky, all at once. Every bite was messy, but honestly, that was part of the fun.

We stopped by Gotts for a quick lunch between visiting wineries. The menu is long so I had high hopes that we would like our food as there seems to be something for everyone but honestly the food was pretty disappointing. I tried the chicken tenders, garlic fries, caramelized onion and guyere burger and elote corn on the cob and honestly the best thing I had was the fries. They were flavorful with a good amount of minced garlic and parsley on top. The corn was pretty tasty as well but ultimately the burger was really dry and lacked flavor and the chicken tenders were super dry as well. The honey mustard I got on the side helped with the flavor but the tenders were pretty bland. Ultimately we weren't looking for much, just a quick bite before we had to go to a tasting reservation nearby but I honestly don't think I'd come back.

Ashamed to admit I came here back to back days the food is that good. We decided to get a couple sides to share which were amazing. I also tried the veggie burger patty and it was delicious same with their turkey burger patty. Service was quick and nice the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming as I looked over the menu. The vibes in the location feel like a retro old school dinner will definitely be visiting again.

We were in the market for some lunch. Walked through a market place and found this spot. Food looked good. Indoor and outdoor seating. Everyone was nice and welcoming. We ordered their waffle fries which were a special and the Texas avocado burger. 33 minutes later our buzzer went off and I ran for our food,as we were starving. Unfortunately no amount of starvation would help the ice cold waffle fries that presented themselves to us. I tried to muscle through but it was a no go. Come on guys. We can do better. For someone who prides his reviews for others to come try different food. I can't help but only give 3 stars. Thank goodness the staff was nice enough to redo my fry order. But we had to eat the burger without our side.

Ahi tacos, bacon cheeseburger and sweet potato fries

This place is always packed and we had to try it since we kept passing it. The line can get long but it goes by pretty fast and then you have to wait about 20 mins for the food. They give you a buzzer when the food is ready and then you head to the counter to retrieve your order. The food was very good. I opted for the ahi tacos and shared sweet potato fries. Only thing I didn't love was the flies inside the restaurant but hard when it's hot outside to keep the flies out I guess. There is a decent amount of seating indoor and outdoor. We opted for indoor since it was hot outside.

Um hello??? 1,0000 stars!!!!! I have no complaints actually, besides the price but whatever i would do it again and i will hopefully sooner than later. Service was quick and the food took a while to come out but that's a good sign. The overall vibe was interesting but in a good way, don't think I've experienced anything like it. Anyways to the most importation part, THE chicken schnitzel sandwich WOW, the radish in there and the dill literal mouthgasm! So much flavor that all blended well with the juicy chicken and the bun my oh my the sweet brioche bun was the cherry on top. The fried green tomatoes were so delightful and refreshing, I don't even like tomatoes like that but i like these and you might actually fall in love with them! Till this day i find myself thinking of how amazing the food was. You have GOTTS to try this place im serious!

Ahi tuna burger, Cheeseburger& fries.

An ahi tuna burger might be one of my favorite things, so you know I was stoked to be in the vicinity of Gott's Roadside at lunch time today. I got mine medium rare instead of rare & it was perfect! The slaw on it is so good & so is the bun! Plus it has a ginger wasabi sauce on it mmmmmmmm! My lady had the cheeseburger & it was HUGE! She couldn't finish it but loved it. The fries are nice & crunchy. The restaurant is clean & spacious. The only thing I didn't like was the ranch. It was kinda green, super thin, not very flavorful & had what I can only describe as maybe lettuce in it? But the burgers were impeccable!

Double Cheeseburger and elote

Food was great! The service took longer than expected. I think it's also because there was a lot of people. People started to sit by Model Bakery since there were so many people. Chill vibe. We ordered double cheeseburger, fries, and of course ELOTE (my fave). I wanted to order the green fried tomatoes but we opted for the peach cobbler. I didn't get to take a picture of the peach cobbler parfait because that alone took the longest to be served! I know, I know... It doesn't take much to put it together. The server said some machine in the back was malfunctioning. What timing! Still a great place!

The place was crowded everyday. I was not impressed. There was a line out the door and everyone tells you that you have to go. The food was just ok. We got a seat near the tv so we could watch the Soccer match. We were seated outside but decided to go in after seeing an empty spot. It was warmer in there. We were cold outside so I welcomed the little bit of warmth.

Absolutely loved the lobster. BLT special will be coming back since I am a local down the road

Burgers were good. The garlic Parmesan fries not good too oily/ greasy. It was not edible. I saw multiple people order it and had a few and threw it away. Device was good and fast. Nice spot to stop and have a quick bite.

Vietnamese Chicken Salad
Taylor V.

I was in the area on a date. We came to the market to figure out food and we settled on Gotts roadside. I've seen them around I've had their garlic fries when I've had the craving but I've never really ordered anything else. This time I ordered the Vietnamese chicken salad and chili cheese fries on the side. My date ordered the California burger and sweet potato fries. When we got our food, my date said, she should have ordered the salad that looks so good. You know what? It was bomb! Super flavorful and refreshing. It made everything else taste bland or maybe it was bland, not the salad though. I would come back for the salad. The chili had no flavor, my date said her burger didn't have any flavor and she regretted choosing it. I don't normally like sweet potato fries but they were good from here.

Whenever I am Napa I love to grab a burger here. So fresh and so good. Always a line. We like sitting outside weather permitting.

For my main, I ordered the chilaquiles since I have been craving them. They're not your typical salsa verde chilaquiles, esp w the scrambled egg and lack of salsa verde, but they're still great! When it was time to serve dinner, we were led into a private dining room. It was a bit loud. Not the best acoustics, but a beautiful room. The staff were very attentive. It was a slow meandering meal. Our menu was pre-selected and the food came in courses and served family style. What really impressed me was how they accommodated allergies. I'm allergic to dairy and don't do well with gluten. Another person in our group was vegan and gluten free. I was able to eat almost everything on the menu. That is to say, the majority of the dishes, if they had gluten or dairy, they brought me me own plate with a safe version for me. I was blown away. A lot of places will give you a lesser alternative, but for the most part, they really made the same dishes, just allergy friendly. It was delicious. Often at dinners like this, in fancy restaurants, when it comes time for dessert, I will be offered either a plate of cut fruit or a sad bowl of not very good sorbet. Not here. One of the desserts was this amazing chocolate cake coated in chocolate with a raspberry filling. It was what they served everyone and it was gluten free and dairy free. I about fainted. They also served a dairy free chocolate gelato that was delicious. It had something interesting in it, maybe lavender? We couldn't quite place it. But it was wonderful. I would definitely come here again and recommend it to others. I have never seen a restaurant in Napa step up to the plate like this when it comes to accommodating food allergies. Way to go Farm! I hope to come back again soon.

We stated off with a round of cocktails for the table, and everyone raved about their selections. To that point, it was high marks all around. We then ordered our food, and this is where the evening fell a bit short for me. While the rest of our group ordered the burger, I opted for the steak frites. Everyone else raved about their meal, and the burgers did look amazing. Sadly, my steak was not. The meat was extremely fatty, full of gristle, and pretty bland. I considered sending it back, but as the rest of the group were enjoying their food, I chose to say nothing. Overall, I'd consider giving the place another try, as the rest of the night was great. For atmosphere, drinks and my table's burgers, FARM scored 4 stars. My steak frites dinner was barely 2 stars, and a disappointing piece of an otherwise good experience.

Everyone else at our table was also very pleased with their meals. The only unpleasant part of the evening was not really the restaurant's fault. The people seated next to us kept putting their small dogs on the table and allowing them to eat off their plates and lick the table. I have dogs and fully support bringing them along to dog-friendly restaurants, but that felt very unsanitary.
