I am concern about The Workers well being in this store I had been here a small handful of times and all the times I visit I always see the assistant manager I think her name is Kathleen she is old and black I witness her scream and Bully some of her employees she always has a mean demeanor anytime she approaches anyone and it made me feel very uncomfortable she purposely tries to bully her employees and is very rude to customers I personally wouldn't recommend shopping her there are better stores in town and it's not worth the trouble that Kathleen lady should be fired and the entire store needs a change read more

I went in the store looking for some stuff for me and my unborn baby. The assistant manager, Kathleen, was so sweet and helpful. She helped me find the right sizes I was looking for and helped me find some maternity jeans in my size (plus size.) I picked up a few random items and some of them weren't tagged and she went out of her way to figure out how much they were. I got amazing customer service from her. When I went in, all the employees were wearing masks. I love this store even more since its been relocated. I'll be back next trimester for some new maternity and clothes. read more

Today 1.20.18, I went into Goodwill and to my surprise the Target merchandise was half off, but, today only. yippe ki yoh.lol. I picked up rain boots, a beautiful mulit-colored silver bracelet and some personal affects. The Staff isGreat and they do not rush you at the check out register. Prices are to high for second hand clothes . I always come here after coming from other thrift stores in Fairfield and I'm always disappointed. There are much better thrift store in the area with more reasonable prices . Also always inspect your items !! I purchased items from this location before and it's ended up being broken or torn . read more

Decent size goodwill store. Full of useful stuff. I love donating my old clothes and ones that I do not use to Goodwill. Sometimes I find useful things in here too. Last time I visited here to drop my clothes I purchased a few music records I loved. I think people should visit this store, they may find lots of great stuff in here that may have never imagined. read more

I do not recommend going unless your okay with very rude people. I have gone the 2 times and I'm done going . The first time I went I asked the manger how much a stove thing was because it said like 3 different prices and I asked and she's was beating very rude walking away and screaming at me I was in very mad so the I just lefty.today I went again and just a note all employs are super rude !! So I found some snow boots and the price was 2.99 and I was like wow such a amazing price and the stickers were just put on not dirty or look like someone stuck them on so when I go to the register I put the snow boots the employs said no these are not the price no you can not take them there not the price screaming at me !!! So then I tell her nicely OK so what's the actual price and she's like this is $35 I was like ma'am nothing in your store is over $20 and she's like oh but I am that's the price these are and I was like ma'am you're not the manager so how are you just putting prices on things of how you think they should sell them and she was just like well ma'am these are $35 and or do you want them or not and then I just asked one more question nicely so him how come they say they're 299 and the stickers look fresh like someone barely put them on she's like well they're not other people like to grab a bunch a little stickers and put them on his boots to get the cheaper price and they are trust me it always happens and she told me that all rude and so I was like you know what I'll just leave them here and then I decided to write a review and this is why am not going back read more

It's been a while since I actually shopped here but this review is mainly about my recent donation drop-off experiences. Only once out of my last several attempts did I encounter a very tall friendly gentleman who seemed willingly helpful. The other times the drop-off area was either blocked, they wouldn't take anything unless it was within a specific time period even though the store was open for shopping all day, and/or the people were unfriendly or not around when I needed assistance. One woman who saw me from inside came out just to tell me that they weren't taking anymore donations until the two employees got back from break in fifteen minutes, which is why the area was again blocked (she made sure to tell me this three times). I'm not sure why she couldn't have just taken my arm-full of clothing or directed me to a bin to drop it in, but since it was already my second failed attempt to donate there that day I decided to just drive over to the Vacaville store, where they are ALWAYS staffed (meaning the only two people in an area don't take their break at the same time), friendly, and helpful. read more

They have a decent selection of items but they are expensive. I needed a retro outfit for a party I was going to and found the PERFECT crayola colored, shoulder-padded blazer but it was $8.99. I ended up buying it because it was last minute but honestly, who would have bought that blazer otherwise? I can buy cheaper at Ross and their clothes are new. I even asked the cashier when their sales are (expecting to hear something like "Oh, half off every Monday") but instead she's like "Oh you just missed it." My response? "Umm ok, when is your next one?" to which she responded "I'm not sure. They are usually around holidays." Lame. Also the location isn't the greatest. This goodwill is really dirty and way overpriced. Stopped over here because I love thrifting, but this was such a disappointment. On top of that, an older customer was trying to buy a lamp and lamp shade. She thought it came as a set. The employee said it was priced separately at a ridiculous $10 just for the lamp shade.. I understand that goodwills benefit their employees and the community, but at these prices they are just turning potential customers away. Goodwill, please price your donations that are FREE fairly and I swear you will be selling more volume and in turn drive in more money!!! Plus their donation center is ridiculous. There is an employe named Kathleen. she is very rude. She verbally Abuses the customers and employees. She yells at them and snatches items from them. I heard her cursing at the African American male who was trying his best to fulfill her orders. He looked very sad and humiliated. She then yells at the cashiers. There is a very well mannered girl named chainey I believe and she has the patience of an angel. She can do do better which is getting out of a horrible store like this goodwill. Kathleen yells and Harasses all of the cashiers. She doesn't even wear her mask properly she has it hanging below her mouth. she pointed her finger in my face once and snatched a vase That had the wrong price I guess and I was so close to knocking her a** out. But I decided that I will be taking legal actions against her and the corporate because I keep complianing but they don't give a rats a**. Im never shopping at this store again. I found shirts and scarves here that I planning to repurpose for another project, but nothing too nice for me to wear. They price marked their items a bit too pricey, and it's just a "Goodwill". I give this store 3 stars only because my husband was luckier than I am finding things. Will I go back here... I THINK I'LL PASS, especially since I just found out on the news that there was a guy who started shooting inside the Food Maxx store next door!!! read more

This store is so well organized. I scored a almost mint condition Precious Moments keepsake edition bible that was still in the original box for $6. A church member gave me a white Jessica Simpson handbag she'd gotten from this location too. The clothing section is decent...and I love the housewares stuff. I have shopped this store for a few years, and while it is the better of the two locations in Fairfield, it is NOT a good store. Prices have climbed recently and store organization and customer service have dropped. Rarely do I find an item that is not overpriced lately. And while they used to have great friendly staff (6-8 months ago), now getting help or even a bit of friendliness is not going to happen. Yesterday I had an awful experience with a cashier. She rang us up for two clothing items and while paying we realized we were overcharged one dollar. When we pointed out the correct prices, before even handing us the change, she said we would have to pick out another item in the store to account for the dollar we were overcharged. Huh?!?! She said she could not give us the dollar back that she overcharged us and also stated there were no returns. We asked for a manager and after some eye rolling she complied. A few minutes later, a manager came to the register and was able to ring us up correctly and get our dollar back. Both the manager and cashier had less than professional attitudes about the whole situation. Previously, I asked this same manager if I could see an item in the glass case while the cashier was busy with a long line. She said sure and told the cashier to open the case for me while the manager continued on her way walking about the front of the store. Hmmm, could the manager not have grabbed the key from the register and opened the case herself since the cashier was so busy?!? I think so. I asked the cashier why the manager could not have helped her out and she was just as confused as me. I think I'm starting to see why this store on the decline.... When thrift shopping in this area, I'd suggest bypassing this store and hitting the others along Texas street. You will find better prices elsewhere and perhaps less attitude. This store's only redeeming quality is the cute feral cats living in a colony behind the building. read more

I have been very excited to go to the new N Texas St, Faurfield, CA, Goodwill Store. My other half & I decided that Saturday, Nov. 10, 2018 around 4:30 pm, was the day. Went into the store, was very impressed. Had lots of things to look at. Folks were very nice. We saw this little white table with approximately 6 drawers, but the bottom drawer would not slide all the way in. We asked a very nice young man what the price was. He said he didn't know, but he would be happy to go ask someone. He came back once and said he couldn't find anyone, but left again to go get a price. He came back rather embarrassed and said the manager said $19. We said, "Really?". It has a broken door on the bottom. He said I know. We asked him to go back & let her know the bottom drawer was broken & could we get it discounted. He said sure & left again. During this time another lady worker came over & asked if she could help, we told her what was happening, and she said she could price items & looked at it, saw the broken door & marked it at $13.99. We said thank u we'll take it. The young man came back & said the manager told him she would not come down. She didn't even bother to come back & look at the little table. So he took it up front. I also saw these two wooden trays that u put on yer lap & u can eat dinner off of it or put yer computer in it. They were & 8.99 each. I took them both. I thought they were a bit over priced, but figured they marked down the table for us, I would pay the asking price. So we go up front to pay for our items & the manager sees the table, looks at the price & says really loud. "That's not what I said the price was." We explained that there was another pricer when we were trying to get her to come back & look at the table, the other lady looked at it & the broken drawer & she priced it at $13.99. She looked at the young man and yelled at him, "when I tell u a price, that's the price that u put." I told her it was not his fault, we had asked another worker that could price things. We tried to explain to her about the drawer and she picked up the table, bent it over so the drawer would go back in & the bottom one did not & she loudly says, "It's not broken. Tprice stays & I'm not selling it for less then what I said. Even the other pricer came up & was explaining to her why she priced it lower, but she didn't even listen to her. She cut her off & walked away saying the price is 19. I couldn't believe it. She was extremely rude, would not listen to anything we said. But it was very important for everyone to know she was the manager & when she said something that was it. We asked her what her name was & she said Nicole Beaver. I apologized to the very nice young man for any trouble we may have caused him. He was extremely embarrassed for the way she acted. We left all three items. I did not want to buy anything from yer store after the way she acted towards us , and I will never go back into yer store, which is very sad as I was so excited to go. The whole experience will be with me for a while & I will surely make sure I tell everyone who will listen not to shop there as this is how they treat folks. read more

I was sadly disappointed with this Goodwill. I went to make a donation and the young man smelled like a skunk. He was obviously high and he was rude and unprofessional. I donated a audio receiver a 2 year old laptop and new clothes tags still on them and asked for a receipt. He told me to wait a second took my nice items and threw them into a large plastic bin and laughed and told me at goodwill they have so much stuff that they throw almost everything out. Bought a NEW Aerobed for Xmas for my son. The sealed box was stuffed with old crap upon opening. The asst. manager Alyssa refused to give me store credit or refund. She wouldn't even inspect box. Very rude. Other Goodwill managers have told me this was wrong! read more

I have been Coming to this goodwill for awhile and I loved it but I am by far disappointed with their service today. When paying all my items I had a towel holder with two totally different prices one of them being unrealistic which I thought was too good to be true as well as they did when they saw it. I understand I failed to ask the clerk about the price on the towel holder but their way of handling the situation was very insulting and unprofessional right away I was accused of changing the price tag. They didn't tell me upfront that I did it but simply by their actions. I left very angry at the fact that they would lower me as that type of person. I have worked customer service for 5 years and that's no way to treat a customer. I will honestly think twice before shopping there again. read more
