I wanted to give feedback about an interaction I had while checking out today on Sunday, May 17th around 4:30 p.m. The cashier came across as very cold and dismissive during the interaction, not just with me but with other customers as well. I greeted her politely and said "Hi, how are you?" but was met with a blunt "Bag?" instead, and when I said "Have a nice day" at the end of the transaction, there was no response and also while she was scanning items she just kept looking up at me - it was the most awkward thing... like she was mad at my existence idk I understand everyone can have rough days, and I'm not trying to get anyone in trouble..... However, the interaction felt uncomfortable and unwelcoming, especially because multiple customers were being polite and friendly toward her.... and she was just "Bag?" "Bag?" to everyone. Another customer and I even commented on the interaction afterward because it stood out to both of us in the parking lot that she was rude. I just wanted to share the feedback because basic friendliness and acknowledgment toward customers go a long way, even on stressful days. read more

Went there today around 9am and was waiting in line to check out in lane 4. There was a grey haired woman working lane 2. Her light wasn't on. A customer asked her if she was open and she said no. So the customer got in lane 4 line. About 1 minute later she is helping other customers. That is just wrong. read more

I like going to this location because it's near highway 12 which is convenient on the way home from work and it is not usually crowded. I always come here to buy dish soap, toothpaste and toothbrushes. They always surprise me with the variety and amount of arts and craft supplies. I have bought scrapbooking paper and stickers here. they have a lot of materials u could use for a paint nite or quick and fun project with your kids. The only thing is that usually there is only one cashier, but the wait is not too long. read more

cashier slowly rang up my items because I guess it was too many for her. I wasn't aware there was a limit on how many things I could purchase and I guess the amount of items I had was an annoyance to her. After she took her time ringing everything up, she apologized to the white woman after me saying "sorry for the wait". And then chuckled as if I was the cause for her long line even though the other line was longer and those customers had less items than I had. I will be back to the store and I will make sure to have her ring up a shit ton of items before leaving without purchasing just so she can waste her time ringing them up and doing the go backs. She was such a rude little lady and I hope she learns the manners she obviously hasn't learned in her MANY MANY years of life as she is an older women who is so skilled and experienced that she is STILL working a shitty retail job. read more

Decided to go to dollar tree to stock up on a few household items ,hand soap ,bleach ,cleaning products when i was at the register i asked the cashier were she would like me to leave my used basket she said by the door with the rest if them .(I was confused why would she want me to leave with the rest of the "clean" baskets so i asked if they don't desinfect after each use ?she replied that a man would come and clean at night .That just does not seem sanitary now a days with covid , i will definitely pay a lil more and go elsewhere . read more

Great attitude and happy energy! I frequent this dollar tree pretty often, in the past the customer service was just kind of whatever. But on 01/08/19 I go in just to shop for a couple random things to kill time because I got off work early. It was roughly 6:45 pm when I got in line. I was in line at register 1 and there was a female on register. Really friendly and smiley! She treats everyone so kind, having small conversations with every person she helped, which I also noticed while shopping too. I get to her and same thing, very friendly and happy. A customer walks into the store so she greets them but then directs her attention back to me. Now at this point we're talking about baby fever because of the cute little girl that walked in (the people she greeted). She does ask the other cashier if she could take a break soon but never did I feel like she was rushing me out because again, she brought her attention back to me afterwards. We talk and laugh through the transaction and I'm on my way. Now I know to some people this may seem like a normal trip to the store but I've been greeted there with no smile and happiness, they've looked mad or didn't say a word other than my total. A couple year ago, I even had a girl roll her eyes because I wanted a balloon! Like really?!? I work in a retail position where I look at customer service every where I go, all the time. And I was just really happy to go in there and see happy, smiling faces. I wish I had gotten her name!! I think she had red hair or red in her hair and I think a piercing as well. What, you say? A clean and neat Dollar Store in Suisun. Absolutely! This location is just wonderful. In the Heritage Shopping Center located along Highway 12. If you need some items for home or office, the team, the kids, your wedding....what ever - check this location first. It's a dollar for crying out loud! How can you go wrong? A location right off the freeway to go to for certain essentials (i.e. toilet paper, garbage bags, super glue) and random stuff (i.e. ipad screen protectors, chips, candy). Some things to take note of: -there is a small fridge/freezer section, where you'll find items like t.v. dinners, breakfast sausage, Arizona iced tea, and whipped cream -you can get decorative helium balloons -they have a pretty good selection of gift bags and greeting cards Other than that, it is what it is. read more

I'm really giving it such a high rating because of an associate named Omar. I had called about 6 different Dollar Tree stores around my area calling about a specific item all the places I had called were either out of the item or "didn't carry it". As soon as I called the Suisun Dollar Tree the associate seem more eager on the phone to help & to check for the item compare to the previous locations I had called. Luckily they had the item & asked if he could place a few on hold. The items were in the front on hold for me. Although they did have a line Omar was very efficient and provided GREAT customer service to me & to the customers that were ahead of me which is very rare now a days in places like these. This dollar store seemed pretty large and looked like it had a wide variety of goods. The store was also nice and clean but seemed a bit cluttered. As the store's name implies just about everything is a dollar and there were some really good deals on things like batteries and Popsicles. From my limited interaction with the employees(checkout) I found them to be courteous and friendly but nothing noteworthy. I came to buy some school supplies with my siblings and everything was all in the same general area but could have been organized a little better. In the end though we were unable to find staplers or highlighters and had to finish our shopping at Raleys. Come and check this place out for good deals on lots of random things but don't expect to find everything you're looking for. read more

Every Friday the store is full but there are only 2 employees working! They need to get their scheduling in order to have more than 2 people on during one of the busiest days of the week. I sometimes visit this store when I come back home. The selection is not too vast, but you can choose from a nice selection of dishes and tupper-ware. They have a small collection of major-brand food items like: -candy and chips. -canned goods -a small selection of spices What's cool about this place is that they have: -balloons and a helium tank -party favors including wedding (pretty extensive for a dollar store) -every-updating seasonal decorations/candy -not-so-extensive variety of toys -small variety of office supplies -decorative stones -huge variety faux flowers for floral arrangements. I can't wait for them to expand a little. By the way, don't use the public bathroom. It's pretty much a new store to the area, but their bathrooms are DIRTY. Please hire a janitor. Update (3/20/10): They have a small refrigerated and frozen section. They have: frozen fruit, sour cream, shredded cheese, butter, frozen meals like frozen pizza, frozen burritos, and frozen fries. I was even lucky enough to get a pepperoni. I'm not sure how long that will last. read more

Showed up at 7:30pm and the store was locked up with all the lights on. Looks like someone is either sleeping in the back, went on a little break, and said screw it and locked up for the night. There was a good amount of business lost tonight. Several cars worth of people were there trying to figure out what's up, at least 10 customers lost. The poor cashier has been calling for a manager for about 5 minutes now. Shea called on the intercom 6 times she got nothing. She ran to the back to see where they were they werent there. She figured out her problem on her own poor gal. By far one of the worst dollar trees I've been to, good customer service but lousy management, based on the condition of the store. When it comes to cleanliness and how long you have to wait in line to purchase just a few items. Needs more employees! read more

They stay pretty stocked, but the brunette that was working at the opposite register decided to try, and lash out at me over talking about a yelp review. 12 people in line with full carts, and 2 cashiers out of the 10+ employees in the back, talking about video games, and getting drunk the night before... The second cashier even exclaimed that they don't even have more that 2 trained cashiers working during a shift. WOW I will be driving the extra mile to go to the one on the other side of town from now on. POOREST MANAGEMENT IVE EVER SEEN! I Really hope you guys read your yelp reviews. Every time I visit this location, the store is pretty well stocked with hardly anyone else in there. The employees have always been friendly and helpful. The isles hardly ever are blocked and parking is plentiful as well. I'm never this "lucky " so I give credit to this store cause they earned it read more

I go to this dollar tree often and never did do I have the service! People and staff are already friendly! Today I went in and got around 20 items! The cashier asked me do I have a bag and I said yes on the counter! Then she asked me a again and told me to place it over on the other side! She rang up my order and over charged me! Plus she just left my things on the counter and had me put them in my bag! While she took the next customer! To me it was very rude!! Your customer service need to be more friendly! read more

This place is good for all your dollar needs like soap and gift bags,but the store is out of car soap and I really don't want to go over to target to get soap for $4 when I can get it here,lame! So go here for some small stuff but if you need car soap then head over to target and get it there, the service is ok to. read more

This store is pretty nice. A large variety of items and very clean. The only downfall here is the employees. They were not very friendly and when I went looking for some assistance I could find no one (some said they were only there to sock shelves, and the others not stocking were either too busy or just plain ignored me except one employee (Dana) who was also stocking yet found time to help me find what i very friendly and helpful and knew right where everything was. Also I have noticed that almost every time I have been there ( I go in at least 1 or2x times a week) one employee was constantly outside by the garbage cans talking on her phone. This is a pretty good store with a good location, but the management there really needs to either pay more attention to their employees and their unprofessional behavior. They need to hire more like Dana and then this store would be pretty awesome. read more
