The pregnant lady at the front on 04/21/24 was extremely rude and unprofessional. It is a DD's so that's not surprising. She didn't know how to count fast so she took so long counting my items and it was 5 items so that says a lot. And then she would rudely say "Excuse me!" to people trying to get into the dressing room as if they're here to steal. I heard her outside my door say it to a lady. It made me want to put all my stuff back and not buy anything. What can I say about titties? It's very clean. I like to people they're there as soon as you walk in. They tell you thank you for coming to their store and that makes me feel special. Checking out today 11/30/2223 from DD's discount Fairfield California. I was watching the cashier ringing up the merchandise, as soon as she finished her part she shouted out to the next customer to place their items on the counter, mine that she did not give the customer time to make a purchase/pay for her items. It saddened me to see the lady struggle to put her wallet back into her bag in such a hurry. Cashier rang me up next. I forgot to look up her name tag. She had a black mask on and blonde hair. She asked me if I was to pay with cash or card. I said I will pay with cash. She rudely toss my changes onto the counter, instead of hand it to me. At this point my response to her was that is very rude and what's the hurry. The girl next to her dress in black with black, green, and blue hair color say to me it customer time. This store is huge, but yeah, they have old stuff like baby phat, and older Guess purses. The selection is little, but you can find some good stuff if you really look. Not worth coming here often though. It almost looks like it would close down. Plenty of parking, lines not long. First time here and to me it resembles Ross, or even a less version of TJ maxx. I love this store. It's very close to my house so it's very convenient for me. They have great selections of quality merchandise and the prices are extremely affordable. Sometimes the store seems understaffed but the employees who are there are always at their best in providing excellent customer service. I go there to pick up work clothes and car accessories. If I could give less stars I would as I waited in line I walked up to an open cashier who rudely put her hand up and proceeded to tell me that she couldn't help me because she was going on her lunch. There were two women waiting to be helped by the manager the next cashier told me she can help me while still helping the two customers waiting for the manager. Johanna was the cashier's name who proceeded to speak to me in Spanish although I do speak Spanish it was rude of her to assume that I did not speak English. The manager came up and started helping the customers that needed help and they left as soon as I left the store Johanna and the manager proceeded to speak about the customers in Spanish because she was upset. The unprofessionalism was amazing especially of the manager speaking about customers in another language in front of a customer is so wrong making people wait in line because she didn't want to help them. Guessing prices on shoes with no tags as if I as a customer would just be okay with them guessing a price for an item. They really need some better, customer service read more

I had never heard of dd's Discounts before and my dad and I kept driving past the store several times now so we were curious to check it out. I actually though it would be like a Daiso or Dollar Tree store, it's not. It's pretty much 110% a Ross Store LOL Reading the reviews below, I didn't experience any bad customer service so I can't say anything about that. Actually, if you're on a tight budget this store is not that bad. They were selling Betsey Johnson purses for around $15-$40 which is not bad. They even had a generic brand of Timbaland shoes for $10.99. Their clothes are cheaply priced. Honestly, it's really not that terrible. I didn't end up buying anything but I wouldn't hate coming back here. I may not go out of my way to pay a visit again but maybe if I'm ever in the area. read more

I just left your store to return some items and my experience there was terrible. The cashier had an issue with a customer's voucher, which was understandable, but the amount of time she had to wait on the manager on duty was ridiculous. She call the manager over the loud speaker and waited. There was no response. The loss prevention officer then called the manager and again no response. We waited in line for another 5 minutes and finally the manager calls on the radio to ask them what is it that they needed. Which I felt was ridiculous for her to do. She should have came to the front as called. The line grew longer and we has to stand in line for 10 minutes before a manager finally arrived to assist. I am very frustrated with what occurred today and I feel that the staff should be trained better. ESPECIALLY MANAGEMENT. It was a very UNPROFESSIONAL experience. read more

I personally don't mind this store. It's clean and the parking is spacious. The staff is friendly but kind of slow at the register. Compared to the Vallejo location, I prefer this one. Although, the Vallejo one has more merchandise. If I need something quick, I'd rather go here then the craziness of Walmart. read more

Being a manager myself in retail I always cringe when I see how the employees here act screaming at each other, playing around the whole time, no concern for the customer. I literally saw two associates almost get in a fist fight....do you care that your loss prevention always is too busy talking to notice all the shrink you guys have..every time I'm there I see your cashiers not scan items because they are too busy screwing around. I feel bad for the select few who I do see work here when the rest of your team drags your reputation down. read more

The manager said i couldnt use the bathroom, that they didnt have one! I was in there for like 3 hours shopping and im 9 months pregnant. I also forgot my phone at home and asked to use it to call a taxi and she said their phones didn't dial out! So i left all my stuff right there at the register and wabbled out. I walked in for the first time since the store just opened. I had been waiting for this store to open since I shopped the one in San Jose all the time. As soon walked in I noticed a security guard talking to a sales associate who looked very disengaged with her job. I just began to look at a shirt and pair of jeans displayed at the front and the security guard said "hey, the Dutch bros, you can't have that. " I asked him what he said because I didn't hear anything except "the Dutch bros" the first time he said it. I thought maybe he was asking where it was. Once I heard what he said I asked if he was serious. I thought he was messing with me. His tone was not professional if sounded more casual. I told him I wasn't going to let my drink melt outside so I walk back out the doors I just came in through. I looked outside to see where it was posted. There was no sign saying "no drinks allowed. " I opens the door and told the security guard and associate who was standing next to him at his podium twirling the tag on a belt, I said you might want to tell your store manager they need to put a sign up if you're serious about the drink policy. I was just going to walk away but he then said it was. I said where, do you expect me to read fine print? In a sarcastic tone as the door closed behind me the female associate said "Yes!" Went there today, was checking out at 325pm.and they scanned my debit card twice and said it was declined. I called my bank and they said they have no record of any transactions so i had to leave my stuff i really wanted there and go to my drs appointment since i was on hold for too long to my bank to tell me its not my card its their system. Some sad bull right there. Guess ill be going to Vallejo from now on. They like my money! Plus when i was there i was in line to check out and a lady with a return or exchange was in front of me and then some other lady walks right in and stands right behind the lady checking out. Empty every time I've gone. The yelp photos here are obviously posted from the owner cause you will never see the store so full and organized. The selection is similar to Ross but there are far less items and the quality of the items is so bad. The one time I actually found a shirt I liked i ended up not purchasing it because of the cheap quality of the fabric and assembly.
