This community -based thrift store has beautiful items and very fair prices. I can usually find things here that are similar to if not exactly what I'm looking for. And they really help the community as well.

Great place. Great prices. I love the books area. I love the price. There so many things to buy. There was line out the door before the store open. That's a good sign

I think I found my new favorite thrift store. It ticks off all the boxes on my list: -Great inventory -Reasonable prices -Clean store -Helpful and professional staff members I stopped in here yesterday afternoon 15 minutes before closing time and discovered it was 50% off all clothing and shoes through this Saturday. I grabbed a couple pairs of jeans ($4 and $5 each with the discount) and two indoor plant potters ($1 each). I loved how there was a pretty big book section, a section for arts and crafts supplies (with fabric!) and even a seasonal section with Halloween costumes. I wish the hours were extended so I could visit on a weekday without taking time off of work. But oh well. I'll definitely be back. Bonus: There's also a dedicated parking lot.

This thrift store is comprehensive meaning that there's something for everyone. I particularly liked their home goods section where I saw a lot of great dishwares but didn't buy any because I just don't have the space. Most of the men's and women's clothing is geared toward a mature audience. As the weather gets chillier in the evenings, a plethora of scarves will keep you warm! Everything is priced reasonably. I saw a really cute teddy bear wearing a plaid vest and hat for $1! I seriously thought about buying it! I ended up purchasing a crossbody genuine leather purse with a unique front, got a couple of compliments from the staff as I was paying for the item. All the staff are volunteers and very nice. One of them told me that proceeds go to various non-profits throughout the community. This shop has its own parking lot and is located just a few blocks over from the heart of downtown. #40/2021

Fabulous! Not too expensive despite the wealthy area. Good selection from cheap used kitchen stuff to really nice jewelry.

In honor of Earth Day, I decided to revisit some of my favorite thrift shops…read more You don't really know a thrift shop unless you visit it multiple times. With each visit, if you find irresistible temptation, the shop has your number and you should run away as fast as possible, while yelping loudly and quickly so that temptation goes away faster. This is exactly what happened to me over three visits. With each visit I had to resist temptation in my favorite collectible areas. The kitchen area threw fabulous cast-iron pans at me. I don't need more cast-iron pans. But these were in such pristine condition. A quick cleanup, a touch of seasoning and they would be good to go. And some of these were clearly vintage pieces. I have a serious weakness for collectible cast-iron, but I literally have no space for hobbies like this. But wait, that was not the end of it. I ran into what looked like an absolutely pristine clay pot. Thank goodness I've run out of space in my kitchen. I just purchased a clay pot for $45. This five dollar clay pot was just killing me, but I had to walk by it. Onward to the clothing section. 100% silk from brands that I would love to be able to afford in department stores. This one with French cuffs where I finally get to use my collection of cufflinks. Ahhh...! Then I was looking for UV protective clothing, which seemed like an odd item except that I kept finding items in almost every category. The only way I was able to resist even more temptation was to skip entire sections. Then there was the furniture section. The first visit, I was tempted by an antique sewing machine. As irresistible as this was, it was so impractical and space thirsty that I was mostly intrigued, but was able to walk by it. This visit was ridiculous. There was this beautiful little adjustable side table. It folded up neatly but could expand to become twice as useful. It was only 10 bucks. Thank goodness it didn't fit in my car. Because it wouldn't fit in my place. The bike looked promising. Alas it was 50 bucks and it needed new tires. Nah. Too much work. I took the time to check out the books thoroughly instead of my usual just skipped to the cooking and gardening sections. There were quite the handful of interesting looking books for a mere two dollars for the hardcovers. Now, my book storage at home has reached earthquake, dangerous levels. I was able to escape temptation by quickly checking my online library and locating electronic versions. Whew! Save by my Earth Day library efforts. Checking out the electronics, I managed to put off backup items from the last visit. Vacillating, I decided to revisit this section. Thank goodness, clearly the store is hopping because the items that I had in mind were just plain gone. Whew! All in all, this thrift has risen in my opinion to dangerously tempting and useful status. It's one of those thrifts where frequent visits are worth it because the inventory changes relatively frequently.

Several vendors sell similar things. There is produce, children's toys, clothing, tools, furniture, plants, some electronics. It felt a bit like a free for all. There didn't seem to be much organization in where the vendors go except all the produce vendors were in one place. So you'll spend some time wandering around. For food there were some Mexican food trucks, Lee's Chinese and American food (x2), an ice cream cart, and Agua Fresca. We got one medium agua fresca and a bottle of water ($9 total). It was fun to check out but I probably won't come here regularly unless I know I'm in search of something very specific like produce or tools.

Did my siblings and I get a cow and panda cobija from a hustler? You bet we did. Did I buy a mug I shouldn't have gotten cause I have a mug problem? Sure thing. Did the produce vendor manage to sell me cilantro? No but I got some chungus guavas for the week, so I'm happy. I find some of the low reviews here funny mainly because it's a flea market, cause what do you expect? Parking is 5 bucks but there is also street parking behind where you exit if you don't want to pay (as a lot of people do). I will say if you're here earlier in the day, it's def is crowded but around 1pm and beyond it tapers off. Beware - the chicken sticks are HUGE from the vendor by the entrance. One plate of chow mien and 4 sticks for 2 of my siblings and I and it a lot even for us! Thankfully my nephew came around and demoed the rest of our food so nothing was wasted. And yes they were yummy.
