For those old school SV peeps, this is the old Sprouse Reitz store. This location of Goodwill is clean, well organized and a nice environment. I worked for the local Goodwill chain back in the late 90's, so I'm not normally a shopper of these "non profit" places but we were visiting home from out of town and I needed some yarn. Like all Goodwills, the prices in this one have gone up quite a bit recently. Same selection, higher prices. The store itself can be fairly messy at times and the parking lot is usually very busy and difficult to get through because the lanes are so narrow. Fair warning, this location is a popular target for theft. Someone walked out with an armful of clothes as we were checking out and the employees were only slightly concerned and weren't able to find them once they were gone. read more

My opinion has not wavered...Too expensive!....Selling flawed or damaged items at a crazy price

Incredibly frustrating, but they pick and choose what they have at their Goodwill's here. They don't have a single keyboard or mouse at this location, yet 15 minutes away all the way across town is where they store all of them. This is not a good way to do business. This is why I don't go to Goodwill half the time when I'm looking for thrift shops. Goodwill is objectively bad and they treat their employees terrible. read more

This goodwill has gotten better. I meant to say that for better pillow prices, visit goodwill on Delta or River rd. (Last review, I accidentally said seneca, lol) I still stand by the same words as I said before for clothing. (Really pay attention for damage) The homeless issue is not as bad since they lock their bathrooms. The workers are nicer/ more friendly. The shelves are better organized. Still over priced for many items they believe are worth more when not. Just because something is old doesn't necessarily give it value. read more

Small but very organized goodwill. Lots of staff, not a struggle to find help. Several plug ins to try out electronics before you buy. Good customer service, also super easy drive through donation center attached. Drive through and donate, then use your coupon in store. read more

What a large store! I was surprised at how many people were shopping here when I happened along. I was looking for a clay baker and called ahead to ask if one may be on the shelves. From the first contact, the folks working there were very helpful. Indeed, they had what looked like a new clay baker at a price of $10.00. I was given a couple of hours to come purchase the baker before it would be put back on the shelves. While there, I noticed so many kitchen items and all though I was not in the market for kids toys, they had a nice selection of children's games. Parking was easy in their lot out front. If your looking for a clean, orderly, second hand store in the Eugene area, this find is a good one. read more

I went the other day and found some really cute items. When I got to the register I was helped by Drew. They seemed annoyed with my presence, called me a hoarder (I had bought 4 pairs of pants and some glasses) and then ignored me when I asked how their day was going. HELP STOP THE GOODWILL'S HYPOCRISY! Their management has not reconfigured the stores so that it is possible to get down an aisle without coming within 6 feet of other customers (who also can't avoid each other in the long busy aisles) or their employees. MEANWHILE THEIR P.A. SYSTEM BLARES CONSTANTLY TELLING SHOPPERS TO OBSERVE A 6 FOOT DISTANCE AND HOW MUCH GOODWILL CARES FOR THEIR EMPLOYEES AND CUSTOMERS! The crowded aisles are bad enough, but the hypocritical announcements really stick in my gut. Also, they have suddenly instituted a "no returns" policy. I asked one of the employees why GW suddenly did this. "Covid" she said. I asked how Covid affected returns. She said it hadn't been explained to her. This particular goodwill always seems to have good stuff! The clothing can be a little overpriced when it's a name brand like American eagle or has tags. I have found some of my favorite clothing items there and the staff is pretty helpful! read more

I have great luck with this thrift store, especially in kitchen supplies, games, and craft supplies.

I visited this particular store and only to find the employees very unhappy, snappy and lacking of quality customer service skills. It was so bad, that I asked the woman who was "helping" me if she was alright. She responded with an eyeroll and walked away in a huff. The fellow at the register didn't even greet me, have eye contact and proceeded to ring me up. As I was conducting the transaction, he kept looking at his watch. I'm sorry, am I keeping you from something important? The way I feel, if you don't want to work, get out and let someone who REALLY wants a job and is humbled by HAVING a job. I don't think I'll be back because I went again, and the same people still exhibited the same lack of luster and it was a week later. read more

The have been nice to me. I mainly donate. Rarely a wait. They take most of what I bring. I have not abused it, bringing only stuff that they might be able to sell. I donated a pressure washer once, and now I wish I still had it! A little hard to turn left when you are leaving, but you could probably find a better way out. read more

There was a young lady who worked there who didn't want to give me my vets discount even though it is signified on my ID because I didn't look like a vet to her. She didn't ask the two gentlemen before me in line for their IDs to get their discounts. Now she works at the computer store and talked down to me like a criminal like I was trying to steal stuff. In general, the customer is trash at Lane County Goodwills. You're way better off shopping on Ebay, way better return policy, better customer service, greater selection, and prices are about the same nowadays. That's to say nothing of OfferUp, Letgo, etc. There are options out there, guys. Let's not take this abuse from a greedy corporation masquerading as a charity. read more

I was in the dressing room trying on 3 pairs of jeans and when I opened the door to ask my cousins opinion on a pair a random worker guy rudely interrupted my cousin and said something along the lines of "there is a line of people waiting you need to take turns", there was 4 dressing rooms in there and they were only using two of them, there was only one girl waiting. Worst customer service ever! I suppose this is a good will so you don't go there for friendliness but I also don't go there to be ripped off. I am a professional woman and came in to the store in my nice work clothes.. I tried on some summer skirts and a tag came off in the dressing room. I made it to register without noticing.. the creepy little manager came up and grabbed the skirt and walked off with it and fondled it dramatically with another employee and came back several minutes later to tell me it was double the price! I asked him to get the tag out of the dressing room.. and he refused.. I left everything at the register and walked out.. this is the kind of customer service experience that makes you feel sick when you leave an establishment.. I've been going to this Goodwill for years, because, well, they're cheap and their 50% off deals are hard to beat. But between the reports about them underpaying disabled workers, and their seriously declining customer service, I'm beginning to think that I need to find a new favorite thrift store. If you do shop there, really think hard about buying any electronics from them, as they have a two-day (!) return policy. I learned that one the hard way. read more
