I have great luck with this thrift store, especially in kitchen supplies, games, and craft supplies.

Cost to adopt was $500.00. She was such a timid dog initially, but then opened up and bonded quickly. I can't imagine life without her! I had a good experience adopting from Wiggly Tails and have continued to support them with donations occasionally over the past 4 years.

Hands down, Wiggly Tails Rescue Organization is in my opinion hands down the best rescue…read moreorganization. They are a nonprofit 501(c) (3) rescue organization that rescues dogs in high kill shelters in California. Laura Green is the best Executive Director and really knows her stuff. I've only interacted with her. On May 13, 2023, I went to PetSmart on Chad drive to a local adoption event that was from 12:00-4:00. I arrived at 10:00 because I really wanted to meet one pup and her name was Cheesecake! When I got there, nobody was there yet from Wiggly Tails and I didn't mind. I waited very patiently and the wait is definitely worth it. A potential adopter was supposed to be there and time kept going by and going by. I told Laura to call or text me if things didn't work out with the other potential adopter I'd come back and meet her or meet her the next day. I'd left at about 3:00 without Cheesecake. I'd gotten about 10 minutes away and had received a text from Laura that read, baby come back!! Oh man, my heart jumped up in my throat. I went back and Laura had told me things didn't work out with the other potential adopter and asked me if I wanted to meet her. She didn't even have to wait for my answer as she probably could hear the excitement in my voice when I called her after her text to me and I'd told her where I was and how long it'd take me to get back there. Cheesecakes foster mom brought her to me and oh my, she absolutely melted my heart and I know now that I melted hers. We both fell in love with each other right then and there. Cheesecake is now Zoë and my toddler fur child. She's Japanese Chin/Pekingese x, to me though she's all my baby girl. I don't know what her life was prior to her rescue, but I know that her foster mom and Laura did an amazing job with her as you'd never know where she came from and you, like myself couldn't imagine why someone would take her to such a place or if she was a stray, you'd never know now. Zoë's 1000% spoiled, just as it should be and she's living her best life thanks to Laura and Wiggly Tails. There is an adoption fee. It takes care of the gas to go down to California to get them and bring them back, spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations, a free bag of the dog food they're already on, a free extensive veterinary visit(one supported by Wiggly Tails) their second sets of shots, their collar, and or harness and leash, a whole paper from PetSmart with amazing coupons, including grooming. It's amazing to adopt a dog and or animal and I was lucky enough to cross paths with Wiggly Tails as I've adopted the perfect gem Thank you to Laura Green, staff and Wiggly Tails! I can't say enough good things about Wiggly Tails! I highly, highly recommend Wiggly Tails Rescue Organization!

Like any thrift shop, sometimes there are great finds and sometimes nothing appeals. It is worth visiting occasionally, especially during holiday displays and sales. I do not shop there for clothing so I cannot speak about the pricing or the offerings. The housewares, linens and knitting supplies (yarns, needles) often have lovely and useful items. It does seem to be a social place for the volunteers working there to chat among themselves. They are volunteers and can be helpful to customers if you have questions. This shop has become the place where I donate all items. I know they will be taken care of, displayed well and the proceeds go to a good and LOCAL cause.

There was no parking available so we drove around back and their parking area was full and as a woman came and put her items in her car she told us she was leaving so we took the spot. We were walking into the back entrance when my friend noticed its a work area so we started to turn around when an older condescending woman said in a very harsh tone you can't go in there. My friend said we just saw that and we'll walk around to the front. The employee or volunteer also reprimanded us saying this is not customer parking, I said there is no parking in the front and she said I know! We didn't move the car went into shop. We were ignored as we went pay. Good stuff bad attitudes.

Every time I drop them off, (like every other month), I usually have 4 bags, filled completely full. The first couple times, I thought, this count doesn't seem to be coming out correct as when I refund my own cans I get about $10 a bag, 80 to 100+ cans per. Well, their count is more like 60 per bag, which means, I lost a bag? hmm.. Well, I sent them a message and I eventually got refunded properly after a few weeks. A small note: This is only happening when I go to the Eugene bottle drop, Springfield so far has been pretty accurate, maybe a few missing, I can handle that. So now, I thought, why not count them as I take them from my can bins to the bags so I know exactly how many to expect. There, perfect, my bags had 90, 90 , 90, 110. Nice even numbers. But wait, how did they only count 60, 85, 84 & 75?. There's that missing bag again(almost) because that leaves 76 cans unaccounted for. Then I thought, if they do this to every customer @ $7 - $10 a pop and lets say a modest ~15 customers per hour, someone is getting over $800 in a days work of ripping all of us off. That's pretty good money. Maybe instead of college, I should have invested in a bottle drop and hired me a couple of those quick moving punders they got back there. Then I wouldn't have these student loans to pay off, but a solid daily cash flow coming in, 'off the books' and I wouldn't have to do any math or reading or be respectful, & especially wouldn't have to know how to count. Just make a guess, flip a coin or something, and go with it, divvy up out back b=just be fore dusk and call it a day. The upstanding citizens, either running this establishment, or working there (I admit, it could be either) down there at the bottle drops, are doing it now, and they have been for some time, they are ripping you off too, I guarantee it. If you don't care, that's just what they are hoping for. P.S.:: Those of you scared of the homeless folks down there??? Funny but sorry. Wake up and have a look around, your criminals are running businesses just like this, driving nice cars, clean cut and looking all put together.., the ones charging ridiculous rates on rentals, hiking up gas prices for no reason, smashing up peoples cars because they parked on a public street in front of their business just a little too long, (Ceramic Tile Supply, Eugene, OR) and yes, they look just like you and me. There are plenty of psycho's, right there, right within your own little footprint, you walk buy them, and you say hello every day. Trust me. The homeless are not the biggest problem in this city, they are just a scape goat for everyone to look down on. To pass pre-dispositioned, judgement based on pure fabricated nonsense at, just for people to make themselves feel relevant, and overall, better about their own worth. Bottle drop, you owe me money.
